Last week I placed an order for model train cars and after a few days I noticed they had not shipped. I called the shop and they informed me the items were no longer in stock but they were trying to get them from elsewhere. Cutting a long story short I cancelled the order and ordered something else in its place. They refunded my money before I even got off the phone with them. Within 30 minutes of placing the new order, I got an email saying the item was in the process of being shipped. The man I spoke with was kind, he listened, he thanked me and was great. Not a single item in the store had a visible price tag. When we asked about pricing, we were told to look it up ourselves on their website by typing in the item numbers. (Seriously?) While on the site, I noticed they had a 4th of July sale going on. When I asked the employee about it and other basic questions, he seemed visibly annoyed and irritated. Also important to note: even though Yelp says this store is wheelchair accessible, it's absolutely not. Our son uses a manual wheelchair and had a hard time maneuvering through the aisles. I honestly don't see how a power chair could even get through the narrow entry area let alone the narrow turns in some of the isles. My husband and I have visited hobby shops all over the U.S. because he loves model car building, and this is the only one we'll never return to. Businesses thrive on customer relationships, and people remember how you make them feel. If you want to feel welcomed, respected, or even acknowledged, stay away from this place.

After having gone thru a nightmare to get a small item to their store, the customer service person ( Betsy ) completely ignored my request to 'stop' everything and simply send the piece back to me; the request coming before the company had done any work and the product in their shipping area. It should have ended there with a 'return to sender' written on the box. It seems as they are above the customer and went ahead and did the work and billed me ! Then, "Betsy" furthered the issue by sending me an email; using language from the gutter. This is an insane situation and the company deserves to be shown to the world for their actions.
