3 stars. I'm usually an AC Moore gal, but was close to this Michael's so we ventured in. Store was clean and well supplied with Xmas decor. I am in a wheelchair and I was able to navigate around the store fairly well. I passed several associates and not one asked if I needed assistance or said hello. Customer service was a bit blah. I was on the hunt for adult coloring books and the selection was shoddy. I'm not sure if I will return. read more

Almost every time you use their app to purchase something that it claims they have in store, you add it to your cart and then their app sends it to another location for pick up. Every time I use their app it does this. For instance, today it said it had items in my local store, I added it to my cart, I went to check out, and it pushed my items to another store. When I looked up the store, it was four states away........ What the hell Micheal's. When you go onto the store, there's really nobody ever around that can help you. If somebody who works there walks by you and you look like you're looking around for something they act like they don't even see you instead of asking do you need help finding something. I have found some good buys there randomly during their different holiday seasons. They are one one if the select few craft stores left in this country that people know by brand, yet they put so little into their online purchasing app to make it convenient and don't care about customer experiences in their store. They might as well get rid of the act and just push everybody to purchase in store unless that's their whole goal with how crappy their app is put again if that's the case then they should really be focusing on customer service within their store. They are missing out in a lot of opportunity and making money. read more

They lost an urgent package (UPS AccessPoint). We shipped an urgent package from this store. They logged it into the UPS shipping software but then, nothing. UPS never received the package. We returned to the store and they made a half-hearted attempt at locating the package, but confirmed "we don't have it". They should stick to selling balloons. read more

Went into Michael's the other day. They had tons of holiday decor, garlands, and lots of other items for 50% off. Their ribbon prices were higher than other local stores though. I will be back again for faux florals and decor needs again soon! read more

This is directed to the company as well as this store. I received an email notifying me that I had 2 rewards vouchers available: one for $20 expiring on 7/25/2024, and another for $25 expiring on 8/3/2024. I went to the Marlton store intending to use both vouchers for a total of $45. When I brought my items to the register I was told I could only use the $20 voucher because the email did not have a barcode for the other voucher. The girl at the register was clueless as to how I could get a barcode, so I asked for a manager. This person did a little digging and advised me that the second voucher was for only $5, not $25. She explained the total of $25 expiring on 8/3/2024 was the total of all available vouchers, $20 expiring on 7/25 and 5 expiring on 8/3. Of course, if this was true, the $20 expiring on 7/25 was not really expiring until 8/3! The manager acknowledged that this was confusing. When I checked my account on line, she was correct that I really only had a total of $25 in rewards. My complaint is the deceptive email enticing me into the store with a promise of $45 in rewards when they only intended to give me $25. This is a fraudulent sales practice that needs to be investigated by the Dept. of Consumer Affairs. read more

Went to have a large expensive print custom framed and was told to come back in 15 minutes as the "framer" was having lunch. Came back as suggested and was told it would be a few more minutes and it was obvious that we had become an annoyance to the staff. Not sure if we will bother to come back a third time to drop a couple hundred bucks. read more

My happy place! This is by far the best Michaels in the area. They are always very helpful here. They always have what I need and the store is kept very clean. They have great price match policies as well so be sure to check that out. read more

I love Michaels and have never had a bad experience but it's been bothering me that last night I was guilted for being the last curbside pickup order of the day. Closing time wasn't for another 15 minutes and I completely understand how annoying it is to have customers close to close. But considering this woman has no idea what it's like to stay 2 hours after closing for one table in a restaurant, as I do, I felt it was completely unnecessary or her to guilt me then proceed to throw my bag into my passenger seat. These times are hard on all of us, but we're in it together. Be respectful. read more

Went to this Michaels location yesterday to have a photograph framed as a gift. James (Jim) in the custom-framing department was fantastic! He was helpful, patient, kind, and well-versed in all things related to frames. In no time flat, I had the photo framed exactly to my specifications. Thank you very much! read more

Biggest rip off ever, they give you 50% off coupons on any regular priced item, when you go to check out they tell you none of the items you purchased qualify because they are regular every day items!!! What the hell is wrong with this company? Everything in the store is over priced. What a bunch of greedy people they are, don't get enough money ripping people off, they come up with different ways to get you. I use to love to go to Michaels now I hate it. They ruined it for me. Even the cashiers agree that this company has changed in the past 2 years and they find ways to rip people off. I am very disappointed with Michaels and probably will go to AC Moore instead . At least they honor the coupons instead of making up rules so you can't use them for a small discount. I'm wondering if the CEO's of Michaels are cutting out coupons to help get a discount or are they busy planning a trip on their yachts. It doesn't make sense to cut corners with customers, but oh well , I'm not going there anytime soon. I'm deleting their stupid app and unsubscribing their constant emailing me messages. Went in today to pick up spray paint and even though they didn't have the color I wanted in stock, I had a great experience with Loretta. She was so very helpful and knowledgeable as well as sweet. Plus they have great coupons! read more

Did not have a good experience today at this Michael's. Went in to purchase a tin of face paint glitter gel I have purchased many times previously from the same location. It was out of stock in the aisle, so I searched for an employee but there weren't any to be found - seemed very short staffed. Asked the cash register associate for assistance and she called an employee to the register, who was extremely curt with me and acted like I interrupted her day. She then proceeded to tell me they didn't have any face paint glitter gel in stock and no one had ordered replacements and walked away before I could respond. I own a party company and need a lot of craft related projects but after my experience today at this understaffed, understocked, rude, and unhelpful Michael's store I will be taking business elsewhere. read more
