My kids still like to assemble their own costumes, and we always manage to find what we're looking for, whether it's boots to finish a firefighter costume, or a black velvet suit for that vintage Dracula look. Yes, if you usually shop at Target (as do I), the prices are sometimes only a few dollars less. But the store only accepts clothing from higher-quality stores/manufactures like Gap and Ralph Lauren, so you're paying a few dollars less for something of much higher quality. Stuff I buy here always lasts longer than stuff from Target. Everything is clean and well-lit (no idea what odor that other Yelper is complaining about -- are they talking about the same store??). Shoe selection is in good shape, and they have a room in the back for try-ons. The employees are friendly and helpful. The best thing is that we always find unique clothes and coats here that I'd never find looking in the larger stores. Pro Tip: Check the rack on the lefthand wall for items that have been marked down due to being in the store for awhile.

It was a change that had to evolve. i have a pet peeve visiting the Marlton store and considering going to Lands end instead, though. the last few times I was in the store the salesperson followed me everywhere and wouldn't leave me alone. I felt as though I was being stalked. Even followed me in the dressing room to ask if I wanted another size. it took me all the willpower I had not scream at her to PLEASE go away-don't call me I'll call you. Prices are high and they don't mark down like department stores but the clothing is good quality and timeless. they still market the ultra warm coat with cell phone pockets to fit your 2002 flip phone. and people still buy them!

It wasn't until I traveled to the East Coast that I was actually able to visit an LL Bean store for myself. The first one that I visited was at an outlet in Virginia. This time, we stopped in New Jersey in what looks like a newer location. LL Bean is located in an outdoor shopping center in New Jersey, not too far from the NY border. Initially, I thought that this was an outlet location, due to the layout of the properties. They had a lot of popular stores that you don't see at shopping malls. So, I was surprised that it so many stores that are a bit more pricey in an outlet format. LL Bean is an outdoor enthusiasts' ideal location to find gear that would be beneficial to their excursions. They carry clothing for all seasons as well as jackets that are ideal for subzero temperatures. Also, their signature Bean Boots are available in all sizes and at a discounted price. They had a lot of Bean Boots aka duck boots on the rack in adult sizes, so it was nice to get a good pair of boots at a reasonable price. I feel like LL Bean has more clothing, gear, and accessories in their stores. Whereas you'd find larger items online. They do carry bike racks, hunting supplies, snowshoes, and kayaks, but they don't have as much in store. Luckily, you can place an order through the store and they'll ship everything directly to your home. One thing that I really love about LL Bean is the educator/student discount. You can get it multiple times throughout the year and they'll provide you with a code that you can use in store or online. I had to input my school's information and a copy of my teacher's ID. They sent the code straight to my email and the discount was applied when I checked out. Also, you could just show them your school ID and they'll just give you the discount right there. Each location is different, but they're usually pretty laid back and always willing to help you out. I love everything about LL Bean. This is the store that has been near and dear to my heart since I discovered them years ago. We hope to visit their flagship store in Freeport, Maine in the future.

The one employee was just watching me and I asked if I needed to get brought to the fitting room or could just go in. She had a rude tone and said they are all open. I picked out these pants that were $99 so I asked if with tax the $20 would come off. The same employee rudely said "no it has to be $100 or more". I was trying to find something cheap to get just over $100 for the discount, but the cheapest thing in the store was a sports bra for $25, so I bought that. The customer service needs major improvement here. I will just go back to Lululemon for any athletic wear.

We said we just want the right size because the gift given was unwearable. They said sorry that the policy. We said, we just want the one right here that fits. Sorry thats policy. We even considered exchanging and paying for a more expensive sweatshirt they said no. The woman handling us was rude and rolled her eyes at the next customer like we were crazy. I will never go back and never shop there at the Sagemore Promenade location ever again. Regardless of policy they showed no empathy or willingness of customer satisfaction. Ironically went over to LL Bean made an exchange, no questions asked. There is a reason LL Bean has customers for life. Athleta enjoy your 15 minutes.

Whether…read moreyou're shopping for kids, women, or men of any shape or size, they make it easy to find clothes that actually fit well and feel good. Their selection shifts right with the seasons, too -- everything from light beachwear in the summer to cozy, blizzard-ready layers when winter hits. Their Heat-Tech line is the real standout. It's impressive how wide the temperature range is. You can wear the lighter pieces in the spring, and the heavier options keep you warm even when it feels like it's forty below outside. It's rare to find clothing that's this versatile without feeling bulky or cheap. Overall, Uniqlo delivers great quality, smart design, and reliable comfort every time. It's one of the few stores where you can walk in and confidently find exactly what you need, no matter the season. ...and lastly they make the clothing themselves, so you know they won't sell you anything cheap. It would be sad to sell something that's cheap and promote it as if it's better than it is.

Having said that, I wanted to get a present for someone who had recently mentioned Uniqlo had a dupe for the uber expensive UK-based Barbour jacket. And lo and behold, they had the dupes here in the store! But a quick look showed me that this brand doesn't seem to offer any sizes above XL. For the coat, I was looking for something in the XXL range in case a thick or heavier sweater needed to be worn underneath. Disappointing that they don't cater to a wider audience.
