Victor is the best for customer service and advice!…read more Came here on a whim during Labor Day while driving through the area. At first I couldn't find the shop, the address sent me to the other side where there's a pharmacy - if you find the pharmacy you're in the right area, just go in the alley to the backside. They don't have big signage out their front door so it may be hard to find and it might look "closed" but if it's normal hours then you're probably in luck! The prices are somewhat reasonable - some singles and sealed products are at a decent price while some are just trying to match the market. But I get it, the shop needs to make money too. It sucks for the normal consumer/collector as we take the hit for the market prices. There seems to be a lot of singles to pick up - there's a good selection of cards on display and, if you ask, they have more binders with other singles that may not be as popular. Overall, I had a good experience with Victor. Very kind, super respectful, and ready to answer any and all questions. Will be back to shop some more in the future!

They let me look through all their binders and really have good prices that are affordable, especially in this economy. And this is like the only car shop where I've actually got hits from so I'd recommend. I went to return something and then browsed the isles to pick out some new items for my red, white and blue decor at home. (4th of July is my FAVORITE)!! What.A.Let.Down. A large majority of the items looked like complete trash. Many, MANY things scratched and scuffed up. I don't want to decorate with crappy looking decorations. A couple items were even ripped (see America sign photo). What the heck!? Who in their right mind would think it's ok to stock that on the shelves? I contemplated taking these items to someone but it would have likely filled the bulk of the cart. I wish I would have taken more pictures but you can see how bad just the few were that I took. So as I'm checking out this other guy told me bulk is off limits until it's been price checked, and then told me my total of 58-60 cards was almost 30 bucks. I did the math, he charged me 50 cents per card and just counted the total up, talk about price gauging. Mind you, they had boxes of bulk stacked on top of each other, so who knows what's been checked or not either, watch me get a scolding for trying to master set some things. There's other card shops that actually do free bulk, I'm definitely gonna stick to them. EDIT: So after reading the other reviews left behind, I can definitely say they do lowball for whatever you bring in. I overheard this one couple bring in some cards that sounded rather high in value based on how the responses were for what they would offer and they were gonna give them a low offer, which I think they declined on some of the cards so good for them.

Bad service and poor communication…read more I've been trying to catalogue my MTG collection lately. I drove 40 min to get to this shop because they have a machine that scans your cards. I paid the shop to rent the machine and waited for 2 hours. Then the staff told me "We made a mistake setting this up. We can't give you the scanned info, but leave your cards behind and your email address, and we can send them over. You'll just need to scan this thing we send you." I was uncomfortable leaving my cards behind because they're important to me. But I didn't want to walk away empty-handed. So I decided to trust them and I left my cards behind. I didn't hear anything for 4 days. I had to call them and they said "Oh the employee you were talking to got sick. If you want to pick up your cards you can do that though." I asked "How about scanning my cards?" and they said "We'll message the sick employee and call you back to let you know what he says". I waited 3 more days and they didn't contact me at all. I realized they weren't going to reach out to me to resolve the issue, so I had to drive down to the store to demand my cards back. I don't know who the person running the back of the shop is. Maybe the manager. Maybe the owner. All I knew is that they had context on the whole situation and knew that I had returned to get my cards. They didn't bother to come over to talk to me. They didn't even give me eye contact. They didn't make even a single attempt at improving the situation. Not even an offer for store credit. Not even a sorry. They just shrugged and yelled across the room "machine's broken". Then they went back to puttering around and left another employee to deal with me. This other employee had no context on the situation. All she could do was hand me a cash refund and give me a confused "Sorry...?" I was treated like I was an annoyance. Someone who'd go away eventually if you ignored them. Not a respected customer who just wanted to do business. I'm not mad that the machine was allegedly broken. I'm only slightly mad that the employees aren't trained on how to use the machine. I'm frustrated that I paid for a service and they didn't bother seeing the job through to the end. They didn't communicate when they decided to give up. I trusted them with my personal card collection and they betrayed that trust. I don't even know if I have all my cards back, but I'll never know. TLDR; great card shop for people getting into collecting cards…read more Before coming into this store, there was never a reason for me to buy my single cards at a brick-and-mortar. I don't know who helped me because I was too overwhelmed, but he was so friendly and helpful. Actually everyone working there was pretty respectful and friendly! No one was judgmental or mansplain-y, it made me more comfortable asking questions since I'm newb. Price checking on cards was also super quick and he didn't look annoyed, so I was able to ask for the price of a lot of cards. Having to bother someone about pricing is lowkey a big reason why I hated brick-and-mortar, especially when I be ruining their day with every query, and then end up not buying anything. Such a relief it was not the case here. I was looking for a Pokemon card, lowest listed on TCG player was $14 + $2 shipping, and I was quoted $17 for it at the first card shop I stopped at ($1 not a big deal, but I can just buy online). I came here and the first price I was given was $16 which is the same as I would have paid online, but as I asked about more he was able to give me a package price for my cards without me having to ask (because I am not comfortable haggling, even though I think it is part of the card buying culture?) which I very much appreciate. I'm sure I paid less than I would have if I bought these cards online. I might not have bought as many cards as I did though if I'm being honest, but I guess that's part of the business deal. Overall my first super stellar shopping experience with buying single cards at a card store! I would defiantly recommend coming here if you're new to collecting cards! I don't have a lot of friends that collect cards and I'm not great at Googling questions so it's not as easy for me to learn how card market works without getting a little ripped off but the people here were super helpful and welcoming. I will be coming back with a wishlist of cards and maybe some more questions. Thank you for making my day!

I came in needing to sell some Pokémon cards because life has been hitting me pretty hard financially. I wasn't expecting miracles, I just wanted someone to be honest with me and give me a fair deal. From the moment I walked in, Tien treated me with respect. He took his time going through every card instead of rushing me out the door. He explained everything, answered my questions, and genuinely wanted to make sure I got the best deal possible. You can tell he actually cares about the people who walk into the store, not just the transaction. What really stood out to me was that they listened to my situation. They didn't have to. They could've just made an offer and sent me on my way, but instead they worked with me and made the whole experience feel personal. They even helped make sure my son got to keep the cards that meant the most to him, which honestly meant more to me than they probably realize. A huge thank you as well to the supervisor (I think his name was Logan the one with the tattoos). He was just as friendly, respectful, and helpful. The entire staff made us feel welcome. We ended up walking out with close too $500, kept the majority of my son's collection, and left feeling like we had been treated fairly. That's a win in my book. I've read some of the negative reviews, and after my experience, I genuinely don't understand them. Maybe some people walk in expecting retail prices when they're selling to a business, but that's just not how buying collections works. I felt like I was treated honestly, fairly, and with kindness every step of the way. Thank you, Tien, and everyone at Hidden Collectibles. You helped my family more than you know. I'll definitely be back, and I'll recommend your shop to anyone looking for people who actually care.
