This Michael's is a UPS "Access Point". When I went inside, I did not see an Access Point. I did see two employees in a two-person giggle group down the center aisle. They look at me (in a big yellow coat), then they headed my way by the register and walked right past me and my package. Customer engagement/service is nonexistent. If they have security cameras in the front, the video will tell the story. This is my third visit in two months and my last. At least at Hobby Lobby I get offered help 2 or 3 times as I head to the back of the store at Hobby Lobby. As for the store itself, all three times it looked like the last hour of the last day of a yard sale. And remember, if I am not wearing aMichael's name tag, I'm probably a customer. I will NEVER shop at a Michael's again. As a paying customer I was asking to use the restroom. I was in desperate need. As an elderly woman with cane was told NO. Lady said I was not allowed. No exceptions. Left my $200 purchase in the basket. All my business from now will be at Hobby Lobby. read more

Michael's framed several different types of artwork for us. they did a very professional job- I was amazed at the quality and end results. Their suggestions were right on! Bonus point - all work was 50% off for the month. could not be more pleased! Everyone was professional and pleasant. No problems. Great value for the price. read more

I like Michaels for all my arts and craft items. This hobby can get expensive. They have high quality stuff from Martha Stewart to other items. Each week there's different deals so that's a plus. I especially love their 40-50% coupons you can get online or even when you go to google to grab it on your phone before you check out. Saves you some money. I do prefer Michaels over Hobby Lobby as I felt that the people here were very helpful when I can't find things. Went in looking for AA particular type of candy that I was craving I walked through the doors and went straight to the candy there's Andy that's on the aisle towards the checkout stick out no other customers in the store just me And a cashier and perhaps the store manager I looked for the candy that I was craving and didn't see it I turned to see where the workers where. I asked is there any other spot in the store that has candy? I asked the gentleman that I presumed was the manager at this time. He looked my way And didn't respond I presumed he didn't hear me so I kept looking again on my own.. I was getting quite agitated at this time because because no one was acknowledging me This time I said excuse me is there any other location in the store that would have candy on the aisle he replied no. I said oh OK thank you I had chalked it up to to the fact that perhaps he couldn't hear me with the mask on; But it still rubbed me the wrong way. I said under my breath it would have been nice if you would have answered me the 1st time Since you act like you didn't hear me The manager came back and said oh I heard you! I was tripping so you couldn't answer me when I asked you nicely but since I was talking to myself you want to step in and act unprofessional will never be back at the store don't know why they all had attitudes attitude but I wasn't the cause of it read more

Good place to buy art supplies. I can usually find some inexpensive stuff here. The staff is very helpful. Michaels is the best place I have found to buy canvases, paper, sketchbooks, paint, and other art supplies. read more

Great product selection!! Customer service needs a re-tool here. Manager on duty very nice. Entered and asked where I would pick up a glass order that I was notified was ready. The employee went to the register area, checked out a customer and asked for the spelling of my name. After a moment, I was told to 'walk over there to the classroom'. Not, 'beyond the carts on the other side of the door is a classroom ...'. Then a supremely disinterested employee asked my name & spelling again. Repeated. Then asked if I had an 'MIK'? Teach employees to give specific directions and to speak English, not store 'jargon'. As a nurse, I would never expect a patient to understand medical jargon. I try to communicate simply, directly, and in plain language ... to facilitate good outcomes. Works that way in business too. Told curbside the order couldn't be found because it was 'custom' and they don't have that. How would I have known that? I described the size, the glass product ... probably enough information for an employee to competently troubleshoot. "We don't have it. Could it have been a custom order? OR, let me check in framing." I recommend a very small book, written in plain language, "How to Create Raving Fans". Maybe as book of the year for 2021. (Background: I didn't bring this order in. Michaels has a large selection of art supplies. It's a bright, roomy store. I can spend all day browsing there. They also sell frames and do custom picture framing. The framing prices are high, but they have a lot to choose from. read more
