Good selection; friendly staff. I especially like the Adult Game Nights. I have bought many games here including preorders. Prices are about MSRP, but they have a customer loyalty plan that can help with this. I am willing to support the FLGS so I will continue to have one. read more

Do not waste your time with this place. They constantly advertise events and never have them. Advertise sales then say they don't have the discounted price sheets. We drove all the way from Cabot to Little Rock for an event and even signed up for it online then staff knew nothing about it and basically sad oh well. I would pay twice anywhere else than spend a dime at either of their locations. read more

This is a really neat FLGS. They are well stocked with board games and have a sizable demo library and public play space. Terrain tables are available for Warhammer/minis players as well. They also have a great stock of Games Workshop. The store is neat and well organized, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I asked about a couple of board/card games and got a great little lecture on the basic rules and mechanics. They also actively promote a gaming community with events every night - D&D league play, Friday Night Magic, Warhammer skirmishes and more. The whiteboard calendar was only empty for Christmas and New Years it looked. They have a lot going on. Another nice touch is the refreshments available. It's a small thing but when you sit down for a night nor board games it's nice to be able to grab a coke zero or something. From what I've seen this is the go to store for gaming in the Little Rock area. read more

Yeah, I'm a nerd - a big nerd, as it turns out. And while that can be a little embarrassing to share with folks who aren't into that sort of thing, it's a shame to hide it :) So! Game Goblins is a store dedicated, devoted, and gleefully proud of board games. From Settlers of Catan (and the myriad expansions) through Magic the Gathering, X-wing, and all the way on up to the super, fiendishly complex, works of art that are Warhammer, Warmachine, and Infinity (seriously, image search "Golden Demon warhammer models") If you're already into those games, you know what I'm talking about! If not, then why not learn? This store gets a particular nod (and high rating) because of their community. The staff members are all avid gamers, the shop itself has a rack of "tester" games that's huge and full to bursting with games folks can sit down and play in-shop, if they want to try before they buy. But also, there are regular events, club meet-ups, tournaments/leagues and social media pages dedicated to helping gamers find each other and schedule games around our busy, mostly adult, lives. As a patron of many, many, game shops over the years, I'm really impressed with GG - their dedication, their enthusiasm, their product selection, and the thriving (and I mean thriving) community of gamers who frequent the shop. Very cool for old hat gamers, and a pretty awesome place for kids, folks looking for party games, and anyone curious to check out the countless new board games flowing freely in our current board game Golden Age. **Be warned that although there's a good sized parking lot, it's often very crowded right next to the shop, and can make for a bit of a walk to get to the door. read more

We drive each year through Little Rock on our way to visit family in Illinois. As avid gamers, we are constantly on the lookout for decent game stores. Game Goblins is quite easily one of the best tabletop game stores we have visited across the U.S. Their selection is one of the largest, and they keep up with new releases. They occasionally have generous sales when you can get a better deal than MM, CS, or Amazon. Staff members have always been incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a large selection of games you can try out in the back half of the store. The gaming space itself is larger than most regular game stores. We haven't used that space (yet) since we have a long day of travel ahead, but gamers in Little Rock are especially lucky to have that setup available. I encourage any gamer passing through or living in Little Rock to visit the store. Local stores like Game Goblins are rare, so I feel it is important to support them. We will continue to visit on our yearly trek across the country. read more

My cousin and his wife had seen this place and had never been in, so we went with them after dinner to check it out. It was really cool! They had tons of games that you wouldn't find in Target and Walmart, along with expansion packs, card, holders, extra pieces, etc. They also had tables at the back where you could set up to play one of your games! As I have said before it doesn't take much to get 5 stars for a game store from me but Game Goblins does not slouch. A little cramped but full of good people and selection or board games, card games and minatures pack the room wall to wall. As interactive as I am in the Magic: the Gathering community, Game Goblins shines here head and shoulders above the rest. Interactive, lots of events, a selection of singles that rivals many stores twice their size and its clean! The best news I have heard in a while they are moving to a larger location! OK well its larger but they are going to be in the second shopping center. Also: added bonus of Game Goblins is that there is a Mexican restaurant and a subway within walking distance. Great for those marathon magic sessions with prize on the line. read more

I love table top games board games and card games. This place is unlike any game shop I have been in. Huge selection bordering on overwhelming. The staff was more then willing to help and make suggestions. I will be back and hopefully to play some games in there super sweet playing area. read more

To put it simply the staff is "Ok", the moment you buy something I felt like I was ran out the front door which I find extremely funny bordering on the hilarious side. If you buy from GG you're buying to support the store, because they mark some of their prices 40% over retail. As an example? If you go to purchase Volos Guide to Monsters, it is $29.99 currently on amazon, at GG they charge you $49.99 for the exact same book, while Barnes and Nobles just down the street will charge you $39.99. Everything is extremely marked up off of retail prices and there is no justification for it especially considering most other game stores give you discounts rather than upcharging you (you can look at Miniature Market for example). I'd honestly steer clear of here until they fix their predatory pricing. read more

Great selection of most table top/card games. Good staff and plenty of events. The only thing that frustrates me is they don't carry any YuGiOh products, despite being listed as the official tournament store in the area on the Konami website. Just disappointed that with all the inventory they have they can't find room for even sealed product from my favorite game. Maybe in the future things will change though. read more

This is, to be succinct, a great store. Their location is great, the space is bright and welcoming, they have a tremendous selection, the gaming room is vast and simultaneously accommodates many groups doing different things (Magic the Gathering tournaments, board games, miniatures), and their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I'm not a hard-core gamer myself, but I never feel like I'm out of place at Game Goblins. Extra marks for their customer service, which is stellar. Find them on Facebook and be amazed at how quickly they respond to your smallest question. These folks are doing it right. read more

Great local game store. GG compares to stores found in bigger cities. Cannot say enough good things about the staff. They have never talked down to me despite my multitude of questions. I've become a somewhat regular customer of gg. Their play and gaming area is large and not overly crowded (typically), and their demo library is free to use at your leisure. I'm glad to have the option of demoing games before I buy them, even if their library selection doesn't change very often. They also have a lot of miniatures, but I have virtually no interest in that scene and thus have noting to compare it to, so I can't speak to that quality. I recently visited them during their Labor Day sale, and my experience clinched this review. I demo'd Carcassone, which I bought as soon as we finished our second game. They were kind enough to offer 20% off most of their stock during the sale, and while I was checking out, my cashier noticed there was some cosmetic damage to the box, and didn't have another in stock, so he gave me an additional 10% off. 30% off retail is nothing to sneeze at and I appreciate their flexibility. I didn't even ask for the extra discount! I'd highly recommend any hobbyist vaguely interested in board or card games. Great folks. read more
