I may not be an expert level knitter or crocheter, but I do really enjoy the relaxing repetitiveness of both - as my friends and family with scarves and blankets and amigurumi can attest. But there aren't many places in our area to buy the nicer yarns and needles and hooks. Thank goodness for Yarn It filling that niche. It's so hard for an indecisive person like me to pick out nice yarn online. I need to feel it, see it, smell it, play with it before I commit to it. Who wants something that's pretty but smells funny or is scratchy and uncomfortable? Not me! I haven't been to any of the classes or tea parties yet, but I definitely hope to change that in the near future.
