I live over an hour away and simply asked them to verify a specific setting in the "Developer Options" (OEM Unlocking) and to confirm the condition of the screen (scratches/dimming) before I made the three-hour round trip. ​They absolutely refused to check the settings or provide any real details on the quality of the item. They made up multiple excuses instead of taking thirty seconds to look at the device. If a pawn shop won't verify the basic functionality or hardware status of an expensive electronic item before a customer drives long distance, they are likely hiding something or just don't care about customer service. ​Save yourself the drive and the headache. Plenty of other shops are willing to be transparent about what they are selling.

I am a long time acquant of the family and went to the pawn shop to borrow some money and ran out…read moreof gas in front of the shop and asked if I could get a ride and I was told that they couldn't leave the shop with three other employees in the shop I have had heart failure and other disabilitys and can't walk very far so I went out front and tried to get a ride was telling a young man how they did me and they heard me talking to him and a week or so later I said to one of the employees that the owner was a horses ass because he treated me like second class citcen and told me he would not sell my items in pawn before all that happened and today I found out they did do business with them if u want to lose them they will lie to you.
