The jewelry counter is always a gorgeous focal point when you walk through the doors. Lots of beautiful options of jewelry as well! I live over an hour away and simply asked them to verify a specific setting in the "Developer Options" (OEM Unlocking) and to confirm the condition of the screen (scratches/dimming) before I made the three-hour round trip. ​They absolutely refused to check the settings or provide any real details on the quality of the item. They made up multiple excuses instead of taking thirty seconds to look at the device. If a pawn shop won't verify the basic functionality or hardware status of an expensive electronic item before a customer drives long distance, they are likely hiding something or just don't care about customer service. ​Save yourself the drive and the headache. Plenty of other shops are willing to be transparent about what they are selling.
