The thing is, the old owner removed the workings inside one of the clocks and i have no idea what she did to the other. I spent months trying to find someone who knew how to fix them and my lawn guy told me to call Laudick's Jewelry because and speak with Mike Litchle. I called him and on the phone he helped me get one of the clocks working, the other he had to come himself. He came by and fixed my clock and taught me how to set the clock weekly. So if you have a grandfather clock needing to be fixed... this is a place to go. Besides that, its a beautiful jewelry store. Definitely a place to buy some jewelry for a significant other or someone you love. If and when i find someone to buy some jewelry for, definitely will come here. They are supposedly planning in a few weeks a set of events first a ladies night where ladies pick out several pieces they would like their husband, boyfriend, whoever to buy them. I then went there in March and they pinned me for my alteration (just a bustle and 1/2" on bust needed). On that day the OWNER told me to call in at the beginning of May to schedule my FINAL dress fitting, she told me the alteration would be done by then. I then called on May 5th and scheduled my FINAL DRESS FITTING for May 10th at 1:00pm. May 10th rolls around so I get in my car and head that way (an hour drive) I then get a call at 11:30 saying MY DRESS WAS OVERLOOKED FOR 2 months and they won't have the alteration done until May 24th (my wedding is June 7th). This was clearly unacceptable! How do you overlook a customers dress for TWO MONTHS!? After I made it very very clear that waiting until the 24th was unacceptable, my dress was then done by May 15th. On May 16th my mom went and picked up my dress and brought it to me. MY DRESS WAS THEN 2 SIZES TO SMALL!!!!!! Plus the bustle was halfway up my back and falling off! At this point I was livid and took my dress to a different sew shop who fixed it to fit perfectly! During this entire fiasco the OWNER WOULD NOT EVEN TAKE MY CALLS!! Also the seamstress Cindy CUT THE FABRIC out of the "alteration" she attempted to do. I would NEVER wish this boutique on my worst enemy. This place was beautiful! The decor was amazing! I was immediately imagining how it would look like in the house i was buying. I knew at that moment this store was dangerous... because it would separate me from my money in no time! I spoke with the owner of the store, Joanne, when i found out that they also did drapes. My new home came with some awfully garish drapes... purple drapes!?!?! Black drapes for a dining room? Ridiculous! I needed some new drapes and Joanne promised me she would show me some great options. She came to my new home and measured, she came up with someone wonderful ideas. During this time i also found out she was an interior designer. I just hired her to help me decorate the home and get me new drapes and decor to make my home beautiful. This was a great decision!
