Many years ago, she bought two mercury glass lamps at a Kirklands in Miami, which she adored. Sadly, one broke, and we were hoping to find two new Mercury Lamps for my mom. Sadly, we did not find a lamp my mom liked, but we found plenty other things while here! The store was full of halloween and fall decor. While here we bought several 3 wick candles that were on sale, and I bought a cool looking calendar for my office, we also got some drawer scented satchels. Most other retailers have already liquidated their Christmas stock but they keep on holding onto it. There's still have items from Thanksgiving that's only marked down to 40% off. The prices of items are marked higher so that you can use the 15 to 30% off coupon they send you every month for "savings". Kohl's cash promotion is also simply annoying. They time it such that there are no other promotion so you end up paying a higher price for items. If you return things with Kohls cash then you end up having to cough that money back up to Kohl's so you don't even get the full return price. Overall, their business strategy is very disappointing and this is not one of those stores that I enjoy shopping at.

Their store brand drain cleaner works just as awesome as a more expensive counterpart. Why pay more for something that works the same? I'll never understand. For a long time my daughter danced and every year we'd commence the competition schedule that took us out of town to high school performing arts centers around the tri-state. What does this have to do with Dollar Tree? Well, someone must be smoking something if they think I'm gonna pay those athletic booster prices for a 25 cent bag of Fritos while listening to ChaCha Heels or Somewhere over the Rainbow for the 12th time that day. I buy all my prepackaged, unhealthy snacks here ahead of time and hide them at the bottom of our garment bag so we don't starve to death. I was able to get a super adorable swim suit for my niece. It was a 2 piece set for 36 which felt expensive but it was actually a good price! I got shorts and a tshirt on sale. I did have to exchange the short due to getting a wrong size. I didn't have the receipt but they honored it which was greatly appreciated. I'd go here again seems like a nice place, not super busy either!
