I came by Macy's during Black Friday to get some shopping done for myself and family. This is a huge Macys located in Fort Wayne and its quite possibly the largest Macy's store I have been in with three floors! Plenty of items to buy here from perfume, jewelry, mens and women's clothing and other items. Also located inside is a Finishline if you need some sneakers. What really floored me, though was that they actually have a Toys R' US inside! Yes!!! Omg! I had some many memories flooding through me as I walked around. This is an amazing Macys store just because of that! The employees are great too and very helpful. Definitely recommend it! read more

I bought a couch and chair at Macy's which cost about $4500, it fell apart in less than a year!! Total junk!

I've shopped at this store for years. The staff is always wonderful. If I have had a problem, it's always been resolved to my satisfaction. Also, if you shop Last Act items, they are cheaper than the thrift stores. I love Macy's. read more

Tough. Been a Macy's shopper for many years. It is understandable as to the struggles this regal US department store is facing BUT the controlables are not being controlled. Selection was thin, the entire men's department was just in total disarray. Team Members seem to be frustrated that people were there. Given the landscape faced by brick and mortar retailers, they must go above and beyond the consumers expectations. Not saying we won't return, just expect a lot more from Macy's. read more

5 days after order, tracking is "order processed, ready for UPS". Whatever this "service" is, it's terrible. The standard is same-day ship via UPS or FDX ground. What a disappointment. Don't buy here unless you want to wait forever. read more

#addictedtoMacys Of all of the Macy Stores that I have shopped in, this one has a special zone in my heart because this is where my addiction to Macy's began. Generally everyone here is pretty nice and helpful. Ms. Donna in lingerie is the best. My favorite section is anywhere there is a 75% off rack or As-Is table. Typically, they have what I'm looking for (in my size!) and that makes me a happy shopper! read more

Macy's Macy's Macy's. As one of the premier and largest retailers in Fort Wayne, I expect a lot from the store. It's large and multi-level, that alone should be such a positive sign and step. I find that often, my expectations are not met. I'm not certain why the FTW Macy's merchandise is so different from that presented at the Castleton Mall location. It seems the merchandise is geared for a rather mature "cough couch OLD" demographic. Contrary to popular opinion, not everyone likes online shopping. I like to feel fabric, textures, admire hues, and aaaaahh over tones. I'm hoping that at some point it regains the beats of my heart. Until then, we're just cordial associates. read more

So this place is conveniently located inside Glenbrook Mall. The overall store was clean, but there were hardly any associates to be found when I had questions at the makeup counter, jewelry and sunglasses. Talk about a bummer. Everything was well organized and they had a ton of sales going on to clear out summer items during my visit, which is always a deal! The store itself was seemingly busy but the lack of associates on the floor were a definite let down for me. read more

I waited for about fifteen minutes in the shoe department because there was only one person available. He was very busy ringing up other customers so I politely asked if he could page someone to check shoe sizes for me. His reply was come back during the week when it's not so busy. He didn't even attempt to try to get someone to help me. He went further to say I think the people in line would hang me if I stopped what I'm doing to help you. I felt that was a very insensitive thing to say. Without buying anything I leave the store and as I'm sitting in my car writing the review the man who turned me away comes outside to smoke a cigarette. Unbelievable!!! I roll my window down and say enjoy your break. Going back to the beginning I asked him to see if someone could come and help me. He didn't even try and knew he was going to be relieved for a break! In the market for several items that I know Macy's would have, we stopped in. On three different occasions we were so disappointed in the customer service. Went to the jewelry dept 2 separate days each time the sales people either walk away or hide behind the counter. When I finally went looking for her she was crouched down with her cell phone in her hand. When she looked up and saw me she said "I will be with you shortly". When she finally decided to come out her sales pitch was awful and could tell she did not want to be at a job that she accepted. So we walked away. The shoe department was just as bad. I walked out for the 3rd straight time and gave my business to another company that had great customer service. Will not be surprised when Macy's in Glenbrook Mall is forced to closed their doors. I just happened to stroll into the furniture department at Macy's to browse the sofa selection. Susan was the only clerk working in the department and although there was one customer ahead of me and later there were several customers after me, Susan was polite and courteous to all. I found a sofa that would work well for our family. Susan was the most thorough clerk I have ever encountered. She helped me figure out financing options, without ever being pushy. She helped me get the best deal possible and, after the purchase, she wrapped the furniture very well so the snowy weather wouldn't ruin our new furniture. When we went back the next day to pick up the sofa, we ended up buying the matching chair, mainly because of Susan's help in getting us the best deal and her knowledge of the furniture and financing. When I told her I'd write her manager to say how good a clerk she is, she said it wasn't necessary; she was happy to be helping. read more

Long story, can't make it short* I went to Glenbrook mall Wednesday February 13, 2019 and stopped in Macy's for a few things. The ladies at the perfume counters swarmed me, asking if I wanted to smell this perfume and that perfume. One sales lady was somewhat pushy and when she realized I didn't like the perfume she was suggesting (Viva La Juicy) she called to another sales lady for her to come and solicit Coach and Jimmy Choo. Anyone who knows me, knows I love perfume and body spray. So I was happy to sniff some new scents. Finally it came down to three different scents and the sales lady is standing there while I am narrowing it down. I hear her say "may I help you". I look up and there is an African American woman beside me. She asks if there are any free samples of the Coach perfumes. The sales lady tells her "no, those are only for customers who purchase a perfume". The African American lady tells the sales lady that she likes Coach perfume and that it's her favorite. The sales lady is standing right in front of the Coach perfumes, looks away from her as though she is not standing there. The African American lady is waiting for the sales pitch and the introduction of new perfumes. The sales lady turns around, walks away from us and goes to another perfume counter. We both stood there flabbergasted, looking at each other. I look over to the other sales counter, thinking the sales lady would return, but she remained at the other counter with the other sales ladies. Me and the other customer had a short conversation about how rude the sales lady was to her and we walked out of the store together. She went her way, I went mine. It was clear what I had just witnessed and I was pissed!! This was far more than rude behavior from a snobby sales lady. This was downright racism! Those sales people were all over me from the moment I walked into the store. At least 4 of them asked me if i needed help with anything. read more

i shopped for my mom here for christmas and the staff helped me pick out something out of my moms usual to wear and the woman who helped me(wish i wouldve gotten her name) was fantastic she helped me pick out the outfit down to boot socks.My mom was nervous at first but loves wearing them now! great prices excellent service. i love this macys read more
