I found a tie-dye navy blue and gray sweatshirt here that I've been wearing for years. On my most recent visit, I got a long, whimsical kelly green skirt that's perfect for summer. I liked their previous store location, and love their (somewhat) new location on The Landing. Across from the home décor store and next to a restaurant, The Urban Hippie's namesake fits in perfectly with this trendy area of Downtown Fort Wayne.

They had socks, ties, bow ties, etc to satisfy any taste and or style. The placement and display of each item was done with care and concentration. I purchased a handcrafted leather bracelet from the Anthony Payton collection. It's soft and subtle, but a statement piece no less. It was an enjoyable grand opening. I wish this new business well.

I'll cut to the chase, there are opportunities to improve, but we received quality service and a quality product. My sons are professional men, as such, they each required a tailored suit as they move into their respective fields of expertise. My oldest was the first to purchase his entire professional attire here. We were not warmly welcomed into the store, and it took a few minutes to be greeted, but once we did get service it was excellent. He opted for a traditional blue suit. He was fitted and we welcomed suggestions about shirts, ties, shoes, and socks. We allowed our service expert to guide our choices and make recommendations. I suggested the blue, and we all greed and worked from there. We purchased our items, and had some tailored fit. The seamstress wasn't the most cordial, but she was professional and quite knowledgeable about where a hem should sit and the fit across my son's broad shoulders. I wouldn't hesitate returning. The money my sons spent here was well spent.

This is when I decided to leave. I returned later after I got off work around 8pm. The old man with the nasty slick back hair told me they don't do measurement and I wasn't allowed to try anything on. I left and went straight to Louie's Tux Shop where I was actually treated with respect. My wedding party of 10 groomsmen will all be taking our business and our $$$ fat wallets $$$ to Louie's. Teresa helped me connect with Jill from alterations to do the measurements. I'm ordering a custom Vietnamese dress (Ao Dai) and needed a lot of measurements done. Both Jill and Teresa spent time with me to do measurements and write them down. They're both literal angels. Highly recommend going to them if you need assistance with anything. The products were well-organized and divided by gender, color, and size. I felt like I was able to see everything in my size that I was interested in without searching or feeling overwhelmed. Speaking of size... I noted they have an excellent variety of sizing from xs to 3x. That is great news for people who can't even expect to see their size carried in some stores today! I left the store purchasing two outfits, a blazer and a winter vest (all name brands or 'vintage' and on trend) for less than $40.
