I was excited because it seemed like they had quite a variety of different things. After walking around the store, I realize that most of the items are very overpriced for a discount retailer. Some items are retailing for higher than the prices that you would see at your local superstore. One item if you look at my picture is a Nerf toy, which is somehow retailing for more than the MSRP, unless I'm reading the labels in reverse, but you can look for yourself. It's kind of interesting seeing what comes through the shop however with these very high prices, it's very hard to find anything. That's a good deal. As others mention, most of the food is expired, which should net a heavy discount, but I don't see it reflected in the prices. If you're looking for someplace to walk around, this is a great place to cruise, but I don't think there's a lot of of good hidden deals here to be found.

I am not sure if they are about to go out of business, but most of the items in the store are holiday items from Halloween and Christmas. I miss the days where you could buy brand new toys for six dollars on the day they restocked. I also miss the old Manager lady who kept order. It's a good thing they don't have great stuff or else it would probably be chaos. I hope they turn things around, but it's not looking very promising at this time.

To make matters worse, she was smoking right outside the entrance, forcing my 2-year-old and 6-year-old to walk through clouds of smoke. It was completely inconsiderate and avoidable. When I spoke with a cashier afterward, they admitted that she's a frequent complaint, which makes it even more disappointing that nothing has changed. This could be an amazing place to shop, but until management is addressed, I won't be returning -- and I won't recommend this location to other parents.

The shop also sells hats, candles, and jewelry. What I enjoy most about shopping here is interacting with the staff. They are friendly but not overbearing, and very helpful. I liked their previous store location, and love their (somewhat) new location on The Landing. Across from the home décor store and next to a restaurant, The Urban Hippie's namesake fits in perfectly with this trendy area of Downtown Fort Wayne.

They have a variety of different things that you find they have been cleared out of inventory at box stores. Overall, if you go in with a lowered expectation, you'll actually have a fun shopping experience. For example, on my first visit, I found violin strings that were selling for two dollar a box when they normally run $20. Now I have enough violin strings that will last until they finish playing musical instruments.

The Find has a nice selection of baby and children's clothes. There are buckets of Jellycat stuff toys and lots of books and toys. The Find doesn't just cater to children; this place has something for everyone. There is usually a nice candles, jewelry, women's clothes, and mugs. I also like their selection of notebooks and pens. They have also had some really cute and functional face masks here during the height of the pandemic. I purchased a couple COIN 1804 masks from them and those turned out to be my favorite ones. The Find also stocks some Fort Wayne themed items like magnets that say "Fort Wayne: It's not that bad," and postcards with drawings of downtown.
