I contacted Alexander's Tree Service for an estimate. Mike came out for the estimate. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He wrote the estimate up on the spot. I was shocked at the total which was $2,000 less than the other estimates I had gotten. I called Mike back to schedule the removal and was able to have them start the following Monday. I was happy that they were able to get me scheduled so soon. They arrived on schedule the following Monday at 8:00 AM as scheduled. The work crew was very polite, professional and respectful of my property. They had the first tree down in about 30 minutes. Everyone had their safety equipment on and the trees were taken down in an extremely safe manner. At no time, I was worried about them hitting my neighbor's or my home since the trees were close to the houses. They accomplished everything in one day. Nine trees and 13 stumps removed. All wood and tree debris was removed. My family and I was totally satisfied. I would recommend Alexander's Tree Service to anyone who needs any tree service done.

When I arrived, a kind woman answered all my questions and walked me over to find exactly what I was looking for instead of just pointing me in the right direction. After I paid, a young man walked me to my car and loaded my plants neatly with a bag to keep everything clean. What meant the most to me as someone starting their very first garden is that no one made me feel silly for being a beginner. They were patient, encouraging, and genuinely helpful. That kind of welcoming environment makes all the difference when you're just learning. I will absolutely be back. Highly recommend to anyone, especially first time gardeners looking for a place that truly cares about its customers.

The only place to get plants!…read more I have been purchasing Christmas trees from Ed's Plant World for years now. They make it quick, easy, and convenient. They're also incredibly informative and helpful. I recently purchased some herbs from Ed's and their team meets you at the entrance to try to guide and assist you. It's a nice touch. Once you move on to the area where the herbs are, other folks will assist you there as well. Additionally, the selection of herbs is superior and more varied than what you'd find in the nearby home stores. Ed's also carries a ton of flowers - fortunately they are around to answer questions because the selection can be overwhelming. Bottom line: there is no better place in the area for landscape that beats Ed's. Even for Christmas trees or herbs.

They did an excellent job clearing off the leaves from my back yard and front yard. Unfortunately,…read moreall the leaves that were removed from the 1/2 acre of my back yard are now located in approximately 250 square feet of yard space in my front yard next to the driveway. Another 15 to 20 feet and the leaves would be in the woods, which is what was requested in writing on Facebook Instant Message and face to face before they started working. Rather than move the leaves another 20 feet in manageable portions, they opted to deposit all the leaves into the 250 square feet space directly next to the driveway. Now I have all the leaves and the heavy dirt and material that got blown along with the leaves piled 3 to 4 foot high right next to the driveway in the front yard. Rather than save me the work of leaf removal, they left me with a nightmare mess of removing all this in the Spring. The explanation I got from them was that there were stumps and vines in this 250 square feet area and the leaves and material was too deep and too heavy for their equipment to move. Well, that is certainly the case...NOW. Before they started there were very little leaves in this area and the leaves could easily have been moved another 20 feet into the wood line. If the additional 20 feet was going to be a problem because of stumps, vines or whatever, the time to say that was BEFORE they started.

I have been using M & L Landscaping for two years, and every project or job I've hired them to do…read morehas resulted in a wonderful experience. M&L do a great job with our landscaping and yard care. I have asked them to do some out of the ordinary tasks - help with a crushed mailbox, remove a silt fence, etc. - and they have always done a great job, very prompt, reasonably priced, and professional. When I found out they do hardscape projects, we hired them to build our sidewalk and stairs to the porch. This was a complicated job, including running a pipe under the sidewalk to a rain garden, and working with very compacted soil. Rudy was a pleasure to work with, bringing us multiple samples of various stone pavers, making design suggestions, and recommending color combinations. The job was finished quickly, under a week, and the result was beautiful ((picture). Even delivery drivers coming to our house remarked that our walkway and stairs looked great! Bottom line, I would unqualifiedly recommend M&L for any landscaping or hardscaping project. They are honest, highly skilled, and do wonderful work.
