M&L do a great job with our landscaping and yard care. I have asked them to do some out of the ordinary tasks - help with a crushed mailbox, remove a silt fence, etc. - and they have always done a great job, very prompt, reasonably priced, and professional. When I found out they do hardscape projects, we hired them to build our sidewalk and stairs to the porch. This was a complicated job, including running a pipe under the sidewalk to a rain garden, and working with very compacted soil. Rudy was a pleasure to work with, bringing us multiple samples of various stone pavers, making design suggestions, and recommending color combinations. The job was finished quickly, under a week, and the result was beautiful ((picture). Even delivery drivers coming to our house remarked that our walkway and stairs looked great! Bottom line, I would unqualifiedly recommend M&L for any landscaping or hardscaping project. They are honest, highly skilled, and do wonderful work.

Mr. Willie walked the property with me and allowed me to explain what I was hoping to accomplish. I loved what I heard, so I decided to book the service. They worked like a team and what I expected to take 3 or 4 hours- was completed in about 1 and a half hours. They cleaned up behind their service and asked if I was satisfied. I was very happy with the results. I provided some cold water but what I really wished was that I had a nice cold beer to provide for them. I called a few weeks later to reschedule a cut and the crew came the very next day! I would absolutely recommend them.

I contacted Alexander's Tree Service for an estimate. Mike came out for the estimate. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He wrote the estimate up on the spot. I was shocked at the total which was $2,000 less than the other estimates I had gotten. I called Mike back to schedule the removal and was able to have them start the following Monday. I was happy that they were able to get me scheduled so soon. They arrived on schedule the following Monday at 8:00 AM as scheduled. The work crew was very polite, professional and respectful of my property. They had the first tree down in about 30 minutes. Everyone had their safety equipment on and the trees were taken down in an extremely safe manner. At no time, I was worried about them hitting my neighbor's or my home since the trees were close to the houses. They accomplished everything in one day. Nine trees and 13 stumps removed. All wood and tree debris was removed. My family and I was totally satisfied. I would recommend Alexander's Tree Service to anyone who needs any tree service done.

From the initial meeting to discuss our plans to the 3D rendering, the process was amazing. Matt and Kevin were so knowledgeable with Calvert County codes and regulations and offered a wonderful rendering to address the codes and safety! The price was fair and we plan on making them our go-to for our quoted project and many more projects! We love that they gave us a fair price upfront and didn't bargain with us once we said we could not do the project at that time. We asked several friends who each have successful landscape companies in different states and they confirmed the quote we received from Lawn Artist was very fair. We gave Kevin and Matt several inspiration pictures and the rendering we received more than met our expectations so much so that we are putting off saving for a needed kitchen renovation to save for this project instead. Kevin was very understanding and did not make us feel bad for not having the budget to do the project right away and even gave us a great option to do the project in stages fit into our budget! We can't wait to start! By far the best company we received a quote from out of the 5 we contacted!
