They did a stellar job back in November 2023. We weren't there to see the work being done. We had 2 trees tagged, they found them, cut them down, and did complete clean up as agreed. The cost for the job was much better than all the others. We will be using them again this year. read more

Jeff came out really quickly to give us an estimate for removing a large tree that fell in a storm and a couple of large dead ones so that they couldn't fall and hit our house. Jeff had his crew out within a few days to take down several really tall trees and remove several branches that were hanging over the roof. These guys are FANTASTIC. Had a quote within a week (which was the most competitive), the office called to schedule within two days, and they were a week early in executing. Did a real nice job. I have very large oak and they removed some serious size branches(probably bigger than most trees). I also had a tree dropped in close to the house and they did that with ease . Once they completed the work they cleaned up perfectly. Prices charged were fair and respectful. Jeff's Tree Removal has done a few jobs at our house. The first was to remove dead limbs. Fast, efficient and they cleaned up after as if they were not even here. Second was to remove a 60ft tree. Completed in just a few hours, including stump removal, with no damage to any surrounding plants. All branches removed and taken away. They raked, even blowing all of the debris from the street. Jeff's tree service used to be good until Jeff started having other people do his work and not overseeing his jobs. They caused a lot of damage at my house and never responded to complaints. Never again, there are other more reputable companies around. read more

We had two enormous trees located very close to our home. Due to the grade of our lot and the location of our septic, they weren't going to be easy to remove. We received estimates from numerous tree companies and finally decided to go with Jeff's (Believe it or not, they were the only company that provided a written estimate with a map of our home and tree locations). On the day of removal, they showed up promptly and worked diligently. They removed the two monster trees (and a couple others) without issue. They cleaned all debris and when all was said and done, you couldn't even tell they had been there. Very impressed. Thank you for a job well done. read more

Jeff and his very skilled staff did an awesome job for us! We had 9 very large trees on our farm that had fallen across roads and into fields making access difficult for us to check on the cattle, check the status of our fences, plus the trees were messing up our fields. The shortest tree was estimated to be at approximately 80 feet, the longest was estimated at about 110 feet and 36" across/diameter. The 110' tree was caught up in the "Y" of another "still standing" tree making it very difficult and dangerous to manage. Here on the farm we call that kind of tree a "widow maker". We witnessed the crew of four men working with extreme care, caution and safety. Thank you Jeff's Tree Service, we will not hesitate to call on your services again! After having 3 problems with the sealant flaking up from the driveway I've now been told that the job is out of warranty. After using an inferior product the first time he has failed to actually do the job right. He needed to have scraped the old product off before reapplying which he did not do which has resulted in the same issue of flaking. I would not recommend him to do ANY work for you. read more

The guy who owns King Cutter is obnoxious and dishonest. He also did a shabby job on my Maple tree and small flower bed. He left a mess in my yard, driveway and backyard. We just wanted to say what a great job Ryan Clark and the crew of Jeff's Tree Service diid removing the huge dying oak tree in our backyard - a task complicated by the proximity of a fence and neighbor's house.  It was fascinating to watch the process of bringing down such a large tree. Ryan proved himself to be a master at getting the job done.  Apparently he was an excellent physics student.  From on-time start to cleanup and the haul away of the debris, we couldn't be more pleased.  Definitely worth every penny. read more

Our neighbor had a dead tree removed by Jeff's Tree Service. Jeff's staff felled the tree onto our property into a landscaped area. Branches were broken off our magnolia tree and huge azalea, which was in full bloom. Why would a professional tree removal company do that?! Luckily, the damage was minimal. Poor service. After contacting their office and being told Jeff would visit the job and provide an estimate within two days, he was a no-show. He also later decided on his own to push the job to another company, Tri-County Tree Service (have not heard from them either). The office manager was pleasant on the initial call, but disappeared later that week. Calls to the office for an update went unanswered (the phone rang and rang with no way to leave a message). We lost time, but continue to search for a reliable tree service. read more
