Worst experience ever at the Keizer location! Manager Crystal and associate Kris were rude and lazy. They complained the whole time they were helping me. I finally had it with their attitudes and I told them I would be sending a bad review and letting someone know about the horrible rude service I was receiving and they stopped complaining. The manager started by sighing loudly and in a loud voice complain she was trying to take her break when she was asked to help me by an associate. After I told them I would be complaining about them, they changed the tone and instead of complaining to started talking to me like I was stupid... talking to me slowly and loudly. I asked Kris to not speak to me like that and she just laughed. Manager said "make sure you tell them we gave you a discount we didn't have to". Again, rudely. And also told me I didn't know what kind of day she'd had. (So she takes it out on me -the customer???) At this point it wasn't about the discount, it was about the horrible customer service I received in front of all other customers. read more

Fun store for holiday decorating and baking needs. I stop by this Michaels a few times a year close to the holidays. I've made huge Christmas wreath with supplies from Michaels. They have great seasonal sales. I'm going to check out the picture framing department next. read more

The staff goes the extra mile for customers at Michael's--Keizer Station. I shop at this location every few months. It is always a pleasant experience. I had some old photos framed and matted several months ago at this location. One frame fell apart recently. I brought it into the Framing Department today. They replaced it, no charge, and had it ready for me within 30 minutes! read more

This was the absolute worst experience. I've been coming here for years and never had any issues till tonight. It was 14 minutes until closing and there wasn't another single customer in the store. I selected several items and a couple strings of beads that were on clearance and took them to the register only for one of them to not ring up on clearance. The manager (Marie) had walked up about that time and rudely interrupted stating if it didn't ring up on clearance, it wasn't on sale. She said they were closing (14 minutes) and wouldn't allow me to show the cashier where I got them and the clearance sign. I said that I knew right where I got them and again no customers and she said they are not on sale and he's not going to look! I asked to speak to the manager and she said she is the manager so I asked to speak to and she said go ahead and call corporate and said my name is Marie. read more

Inadequate. They had a clearance tag on shelf, when I tried to purchase they said it was outdated and shouldn't have been there ( tells me they are not giving enough hours to their tag crews ) the employee took tag down and threw in trash. I asked if they were going to honor the listed price. They told me no, it's in the trash. I, flabbergasted at his rudeness, asked why they were not going to honor the price, he simply replied I don't have to honor anything, the tag is in the trash. ..sad. Great selection, always a coupon going and great prices with them. Word to the wise definitely wait for whatever your needing/wanting to go on sale- because its constantly changing. Unfortunate that they are only clear in Keizer but probably worth the drive for their craft camps. I wish I would have known about their points program this entire time but apparently receiving their emails doesn't count. Nevertheless the store is usually clean and organized but the service can be slow or non existent since they look like the under staff or don't have enough customers. read more

My wife has had poor experiences with Michaels before and there return policy, but what happened today took the award for the worst customer service I've seen at a national retailer. I stopped by this location after work yesterday and grabbed some items for my wife's work project, of course I grabbed the wrong item, so she had to return it (Unopened, in new condition). Not to worry I kept the receipt. Not at this Michaels, my wife went in to exchange the item, EXCHANGE!!!!, and the lovely staff at Michael's accused her of finding the receipt in the parking lot and trying to scam Michaels in some grand scheme, out of the $4 difference in the items. I didn't realize burlap goodie bags were a hot seller on the streets. I understand theft is an issue, but clearly there is some misdirection at this location with how to put customers first. The fact that the "supervisor" that was called up didn't just take care of it speaks to the poor management of this building I truly pray we never have to return to buy anything here. read more

It's just a big craft store... And no, Craft Warehouse is still open. I like that they always have coupons every week, but the thing is that it only affects the lowest priced item in your transaction, so sometimes I split my transactions. That is the one thing I hate. But they always have what I'm come in to get, and then some. The prices are reasonable,except for the Martha Stewart crafts, they are always seemingly overpriced, but I guess that's her brand. read more

It's a gigantic craft store. What, really, do you want from them? They have every type of craft thingy-ma-jig you might ever need in your entire life. Frames galore, paints a' plenty, and enough fake flowers to cover every cemetary in the state. Not to mention, their prices are low enough that you don't have to feel guilty when you purchase crafting items and then lose interest in them a week later. Plus, they have sales all the time, meaning that the prices drop even lower pretty often. read more

Do not go here!!!!!! They are very overpriced and the workers are not friendly. I was shopping with a friend once and we got there from riding scooters. One worker literally followed us around the whole store making me feel very uncomfortable. Since i still had my scooter, i rode on it to get away from him. And then he had the odacity to tell me to either put the scooter away at the front or leave. First of all, i wasnt doing anything, he just followed us!!! read more

I've never liked Michaels. And this new location seems worse than the old Lancaster one. It's like some big warehouse full of overpriced crap. Their frames are expensive...and their selection isn't the best. I've always preferred Craft Warehouse to Michaels...but now I think they are out of business. So I guess we're stuck with the "Costco" of craft stores...and that is one, big, and ugly Michaels. *sigh* read more

Good sales and coupons..... a good selection on scrapbook storage... and a plus, I can usually find what I am looking for!....one thing sorely lacking is good customer service. I have been on the receiving end of some pretty bad customer service by a few female employees which made me not shop there for awhile...one would think that management would stress the importance of good customer service skills to keep happy customers in this economy since crafting/scrapbooking is really a luxury item. On a good note, one employee there, a thin gentleman turned it all around for me with his helpfulness and really good customer service so I am back shopping again for several months...come on girls...you can do as well :-) read more

Ok...Michaels may be big and have lots of options, but I've never been in there when their customer service was worth paying for! I've rarely seen an employee on the floor with the customers and when I did, they were running the other direction! Seriously had to chase someone down to get help. If you're in the store for stuff you know you want and know your options, it may be worth your time, otherwise...reconsider. read more

He is going places. my cart was squeaky & he got me a better cart without even asking! He helped many ways! I always give Micheals 4 stars but because of Brandon, today they're getting 5!!! I hate these stores. They are so huge it's difficult to find anything. And you can't usually find an employee either. They are all at the registers checking people out so they can't help you find what you need. Wish there was a Hobby Lobby in Salem. read more

I only live 1/2 mile from the Keizer, OR store but I will NEVER set foot in it again. Went in to buy some archival dust cover paper for the back of a shadow box that contains my father's WWII medals. The shadow box was professionally framed years ago but in a couple of moves the dust cover paper had gotten damaged and I wanted to replace it. Went back to the frame department and asked the employee for what I need. She informed me that they had archival dust cover paper but only for their own framing. She said they did not sell it. Another employee came out of the framing area and told me the same thing. I asked them, "You have the paper but you will not sell it to me?" They both repeated that they had it but would not sell it to me, they suggested that I use "craft paper" which of course is not archival quality or non-acidic and should NOT be used for dust cover paper. I told them that I would go some where else to buy it and never set foot in the store again . . . like they cared. read more
