Valentine's Deluxe order 4 days later

Heard about this place nearby that delivers flowers and needed to send some for Valentine's Day. There was a Valentine's special that ranged from $50-$65 so I opted for the middle option (Deluxe) and they had free shipping so it looked like a great deal. My girlfriend's work was really close by so they delivered first thing in the morning and she loved them. They are still mostly alive which is a nice change up compared to the grocery story bouquets. I definitely expected something bigger but it's expected for the time of year and I did like the vase that came with it. I'll definitely look at them next time I have flower needs.

I just received the cutest arrangement from Chuckie's Spawn herself! Last week I ordered an arrangement for myself because I just finished summer finals and my work week was busy, so I said flowers on Monday would be a nice pick me up. I waited around all day today and thought at one point maybe I didn't submit the order because it was late in the day and I hadn't received the flowers or a call. I found my email confirmation that was sent to my spam filter by mistake and got a phone call shortly after from the florist that the courier was not able to find me at the address listed on the delivery ticket. I explained that that wasn't the street and that the confirmation stated the correct address but no worries, I'm here at XYZ. I then received a call from the courier stating that she had been to the correct address and spent 10 minutes "banging on the door and ringing the doorbell". Our doors are glass by the way... After letting the courier rant for 3 minutes, I said "Okay, I am sorry that the address was not correct but what is the next step? Will I get the flowers today or do I need to call the florist to reschedule the delivery?" The courier hung up... A few minutes go by and I hear someone banging on the glass doors to my office. As I approach one of my VPs opens the door for the courier and calmly points out the location of the doorbell. I say hello and introduce myself and the courier begins to shout that she "don't have time for this $%*^", how she has spent a lot of time looking for my "ugly @&*". I'm looking at my VP in surprise as I say ma'am you do not have to be unprofessional and she shouts back "ugly #$%*, whatever, I make more money than you, #$*& you." I walk over to the door as my VP has since walked off in amazement and closed the door since the woman was now in the hallway waiting for the elevator. When my VP returned to his office he asked was I okay and mentioned that the courier was in the hall long after I had closed the door, shouting profanity and obscenities. I called the florist and made them aware of the incident and the manager immediately called back to apologize and to let me know that he was going to speak with the courier's supervisor/boss as the florist uses another vendor for their deliveries in D.C. Again, the arrangement was ADORABLE but the way this company was just represented was NOT!! I really hope this florist finds another way to get customers service in my area, because that was not the happy feeling I was looking for when I placed my order. My delivery fee was not refunded nor was refunding the fee offered.

ordered through doordash for my mom who lives across the country for Mother's Day. What I ordered vs what she got... no pink roses and significantly less flowers than what the bouquet I ordered shows. i didn't receive any communication about flowers being out of stock or anything like that.

Missing customers orders! Having to keep asking the same questions very unorganized and annoying. I came to this store to pick up flowers that Michael's Flowers forgot to give the DoorDash driver before me. I showed the name of the customer and description of the missing Order to the cashier in the front. She tells me " the order isn't there someone already picked it up" I called the client to verify and that wasn't true. I asked to speak to the manger he comes over I explained to him they missed flowers on the order he says "no problem we will get them right out" 10 minutes goes by the mangers comes back and asks what type of flowers was it again. I show him the description and called my client so he could talk to them again. Another 10 mins goes by the manger comes again and tells me they have to verify the order they will call my client from their phone. I said that's fine no problem 15 more minutes go by the manger comes back and says we tried calling but he won't answer. I told him give me one minute let me try to call I called my client he answered and explained the situation again. At this point I didn't say anything I went online and posted a review on google/yelp of my experience. Within 5 mins of me posting how service was the manger comes back out aggressive and yells my name through the store so I answered. He says " oh so you just wrote a bad review about us" I said yes! I did and everything I said was true. The manger responded " well you could have just told me" I said no people need to know how this experience was and I'm not about to make a scene in front of children and customers. The manger then told me since I wrote a bad review don't come back. I told them if what I said wasn't true I would take the comment off. They couldn't tell me what wasn't true so this review will stand. The manger even ran outside to take a picture of my car to get it towed because I was parked out front with my hazard lights on. I assumed the flowers were heavy so I parked there but " since I wrote a bad review he's going to retaliate and get my car towed. This could have gotten really dangerous never confront a customer over a bad review take it on the chin and better your business. I repeat AVOID THEM AT ALL COST THEY ARE A BUNCH OF BULLYS AND THUGS.

Greetings my fellow Woodbridge, VA Yelpers! So here is my story... I was running late for my middle daughters 5th grade graduation. When I had received a vision of what to do in the event I did not make it to her graduation on time. Of course, what better than to pick up some beautiful flowers. So I quickly Yelped a nearby location and Michael's Flower shop popped up. I end up calling the place, a gentleman by the name of Chris answered (so grateful for his speedy service). I told him the whole story, he asked, what's her favorite colors? I said, she is very colorful. He said, how far are you? I said, 10-15 mins. He then said, it'll be ready by the time you get here. I rushed to the flower shop, parked near Gold's gym bc the lot of full, walked into the shop, rang the bell on the counter. When I heard Chris in the back wrapping up the bouquet of flowers, saying he's almost finished. 60 seconds go by, he comes out, I looked at the bouquet and get teary eye bc it had my little princess's feel to it. I paid the man, and thanked him for such an amazing, and quick turnaround on preparing the idea of description I had gave to him. I will say that I will be going back for my next occasion, not sure exactly what it will be, but I'm sure I won't be late for it. LOL! I def recommend Michael's flower shop and their services. Thank you so much Chris!

Beautifully arranged and extremely fresh. Probably my favorite flowers I've received in awhile, I would absolutely recommend and will be using them in the future.

I ordered an arrangement of peonies for my sister's birthday. The charge for the flowers was $134.00. For this amount, the arrangement came with only 7 peonies and lots of greenery excluding delivery and tax. I know peonies are expensive, but almost $20.00 a stem is outrageous. At least the flowers are fresh. The container is shiny pink and ugly. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I love being able to walk in a get a bouquet made in less than 20 minutes. I have always been so happy with their off the cuff arrangements that meet my budget and vision. They're always beautiful and this last time I bought flowers, I got compliments on my bouquet as I walked out of the store. I always come here for quality flowers!! The roses always bloom and don't just go limp and give up the ghost, they provide lasting beauty for over a week! My husband had flowers sent to my work on the 1st for our anniversary and the roses were big and fragrant. After over a week later...they're still going strong! I'm posting a photo with my review. My husband did say the arrangement was smaller than he expected, but I found it to be a nice small arrangement with beautiful quality flowers.

I have to say of all the floral arrangements I've received over the years I am highly disappointed my sister spent her money with Teleflora who forwarded the order for fulfillment via Michael's Flowers of Lake Ridge. I understand orders slightly differ from what's online, however if this is their idea or slightly different than what the customer order they need to shut their doors because this is utterly ridiculous. I will never recommend this florist for anything because from what was ordered to what I received is hideous.

There is no email address on their website, so I guess I'll need to post here. I live in California and need a trustworthy florist in the area for my Mom's flowers. Unfortunately, Michael's does not appear to be that business. I purchased a premium version of a design, but what was delivered was barely the basic level. I posted a picture, and I do hope I hear from them. Order #121428/1 (The 2nd star is for delivering on time) Follow-up. I was able to email the store a picture showing the disparity between what was ordered and what was created. They claimed not to see very much difference in size -- ridiculous! -- tho they did admit that the color was not consistent (due to substitutions, which I understand). To their credit, they offered a to replace the flowers, which I declined.

Our wedding flowers were amazing! Chris, the owner, prepared the bouquet, boutonnière, church flowers and the flowers at the reception. We took the groom's tie to Chris to make sure it matched the flowers and Chris color coordinated the boutonnière with three flowers. He is very professional and very patient as we changed our minds a few times prior to the wedding. We highly recommend Michaels Flowers.
