I'll keep this short. My uncle passed and I wanted something to show how much he meant to me and my cousins. We chose a bleeding heart floral arrangement since the funeral was Valentine's Day, and bc of the yelp reviews I felt confident ordering them for such a meaningful occasion, even though I'd not used them before. I don't think I'll be making that mistake again. This was a clear "What we asked for vs what we got" moment. I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Spent the morning of the funeral trying to rectify and missed precious moments with my family, but it was too late. They wouldn't be able to fix them in time. They issued a refund, but you can only say a final goodbye to your uncle once... never EVER again. read more

I called late yesterday asking about two bouquets, one for my grieving mother in law and one for her mother's grave. I had no idea what I wanted, but Kim got on the phone and took care of me!!! She was very patient, as my toddler wasn't interested in me dividing my time with the phone, and so warm. I ordered them within 10 minutes, and came in this morning to pick them up and was greeted by the sweetest crew! Kim and her coworkers were amazing and so thoughtful! They played with my baby the whole time, felt like family. When I gave them flowers to my mother in law, she cried. They're gorgeous! I will absolutely be returning. read more

I just found this florist online as I live in California and found out TODAY that it's my future mother-in-law's birthday - TODAY. So when it's 4:30 Maryland time I'm scrambling to find someone who will help. After a couple "no's" I finally reach Vogel. They were able to come up with something that would do and not only guaranteed a delivery of today but didn't charge me a rush fee or anything. They were excellent! Thank you ladies!!! read more

Excellent flowers and the still delivered even with the icy weather before valentine's day!

I bought flowers for delivery by walking into the shop. I had already picked out an arrangement from their website. The girl had no idea what the arrangement looked like (not entirely a red flag). But I had to pull up their website on my phone and show her a picture of the arrangement. I even paid for the larger version. When the flowers were delivered, the arrangement was so sparse and smaller the even the smallest version, and the box of candy I added onto the order was not delivered. Pictures speak louder than words. I'll never buy flowers from this shop again. read more

Whenever I read these reviews I always think it's a friend of the person or something, but I found out about Vogel's through a Groupon promo that Vogel's hadn't even signed off on. Long story short, Groupon ripped me off and was a nightmare to deal with, but Kim provided immaculate customer service, was so pleasant, and even refunded my groupon voucher despite having no obligation or duty to. And they have beautiful flowers! Even though they're about 15 miles out of the way for me, I won't get flowers anywhere else from here on. read more

I selected this florist based on the reviews I read on line. What a mistake! I needed a special arrangement for a friend going through a very tough time. I spent extra money to get a larger bouquet...mistake #2! The bouquet delivered looked as if someone plucked a $9 Giant bouquet and stuck it in a vase. After seeing the bouquet she posted on facebook, I was shocked. I sent an email to the company along with pictures, what I thought I was purchasing (from their website) and what was actually delivered, so they could see the difference. Know what their response was? Nothing! Absolutely nothing! I will make it my business to let everyone I know, and even facebook fans, what a shoddy job was done. The worst florist ever, instead of delivering the flowers on Thursday, they left a note, I called the florist, they scheduled the delivery for Saturday, that morning I received a call and was informed that they'd be delivering that day and they prefer that I stay at home to accept the order, just what people want, right before the holidays stay home all day to wait on flowers, I think not, I asked them to leave the delivery on the porch. Sunday morning, still no delivery, left messages with their 24 hour service - NO SERVICE. The florist finally calls back Monday at noon! I told them to keep their flowers. If you are planning a wedding, this is definitely the place to go! Kim Kamp (owner) has a superb creative taste and excellent customer service. I came in for a very last minute wedding and she was so helpful with going through everything and everyone I needed flowers for. She was attentive and asked details of my wedding so she could make my arrangements perfect. She even offered to come in on her day off so I could pick up my flowers on the day of my wedding to keep them fresh. I HIGHLY recommend this florist for any of your flower needs. I chose a base priced selection of $90 from their website for a memorial service. It was supposed to be a centerpiece style round basket. When taking the basket to the car I saw that it was only 2/3 full of flowers and the back was bare! They used an illusionary trick to give the appearance of a full basket of flowers but it could only be displayed to view from the front only. For $90, plus tax and delivery, this was a huge rip off! read more
