I absolutely love that they moved to this new location on the corner of Clarkson and Manchester.

I love how they are a non-profit so proceeds go to those in need. I've been making needlepoint keychains for years now for thoughtful handmade gifts. Very unique place for the crafters of the world. Fun place to learn new crafts and hobbies. Friendly staff always willing to help out.

My daughter is now 27. The new store is larger, brighter and has much more merchandise. The new, expanded store is full of so many other things. Gifts, probably many for wedding gifts. Cheese, spread platters. Serving plates, bowls. Gorgeous stuff. Tervis glasses of many dimensions. MIZZOU stuff, KC stuff. Jewelry, baby gifts, baby clothes, beautiful picture frames, hand-woven rugs. Solmate socks (http://www.socklady.com/index.php), including those for children with an extra sock. Genius! An exceptional amount of Easter decorations which looked unique to me. So bright and cheery. I didn't mess around much in the yarn/thread/pattern area of the store, which is probably half of the store. But there's a lot of stuff there. My girlfriend brought in some embroideries she'd done for Christmas tree ornaments. You can do the needlework, and have them do the finishing. That was her mission. I think five people came to review and understand her request. To get it right. Because she's particular about what she wants. This isn't just a store. It's a philanthropic endeavor: http://www.signofthearrow.com/about-us/ Everyone who works there is a volunteer. Started in 1966, it's a community support organization from the St. Louis Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi. A great place to patronize.

We went to 3 or 4 different Michael's because we have been on the hunt for frames on sale to…read morefinally frame our art and little did we know there would be a collaboration we didn't know we needed. We discovered Michael's did a collab with Johnathan Adler and we wanted to buy EVERYTHING we of course had to keep it cool so we bought a few pieces of art, a towel, and maybe more napkins than we'll ever need but they were just so cool looking we had to.

Well, I was quoted a price of $18 for picture frame glass 8x10"... $18. What? No thanks. I…read moredidn't point out that I could buy a brand new cute frame for $10. Anyway, the part of this trip that could have been better? When I got to the check out, my item rang up incorrectly and the cashier called someone to help. I told the person where the item was and about the 3 signs giving me a cost different than the ring up price. Well, that person came back with a totally different item and said that was the one on sale. Nope. So I decided to pay the extra $2.50, not the end of the world, I realize this, but I was terribly unhappy about how the person handled it. After I paid for my purchase I went back into the store and pulled one of the sale price labels from the shelf and took it back to them at the checkout and left. I will be using maybe Hobby Lobby from now on. No thanks to people who don't know what they're doing, but try to convince you they do. IMO, that store was was advertising different pric3s than what was being charged. I'd call that false advertisement.
