Plus, the day I was supposed to pick it up she was very hit or miss with responding to my messages. She claimed she was running late from work while I was waiting in Fenton to pick up my item, but I'm pretty sure she was at home the entire time rushing to finish it. She said she was going to sew the piece of fabric on my cap, but instead she hot glued it. It looks a MESS. She also somehow ripped a piece of my cap where the cardboard underneath is now showing. I'm very disappointed in this experience especially because this was for such a special occasion for me. I will not be giving her my business any longer.

Allison said they would be done before the end of January. What followed was over three months of unanswered phone calls and text messages, as I tried to find out if the stockings were ready. We finally dropped by her house two days ago to get the stockings, finished or not. Three had been embroidered, but she had torn the linings on two of them. A fourth stocking had been embroidered, but she was in the process of picking it out, and the lining had been damaged. I couldn't believe the carelessness--these are very meaningful to our family! Thankfully, three had been spared. Allison offered no apology or explanation--at least she didn't try to charge us. We are going elsewhere to get the job finished and the damage hopefully repaired. I would give her zero stars if I could. Do NOT waste your time or money on this business.

The Gypsy Caravan comes every Memorial day and they always change the location from UMSL to SLU...just stay on top of things or watch Channel 5 and you'll know where it is...seriously, that's how I always find it. Basically, this is nothing more than a gigantic garage sale/flea market and it's all for the benefit of the St. Louis Symphony's Educational Programs. Guilt free shopping is my favorite kind of shopping. This is the kind of place that you can spend all day digging through old junk to maybe or maybe not come up with a great treasure. There's everything from jewelry to paintings to just plain garbage that you have no idea what it might be at this place. The stuff is pretty cheap, though some of it is overpriced for what it is. This is no different than any other flea market but seriously, it only comes once a year and therefore, is a pretty amazing stop in if you are looking for something to do other than heading to a pool on Memorial Day. I may be a little late (or early) in the year to be talking about this, but I have such cherished memories of heading to this thing every year that I can't say enough good things about it. They indeed did have them, let me take my shelf into the store to see if it would work with their system, and it did. They have the ability to cut the poles to your specified size. Again, I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 due to price. I still maintain that they sell quality items here, so be prepared to pay for that quality. I did join their loyalty program, which includes 20% off of purchases. Since 4 poles cost around $120, I got $20 off, which makes it more palatable. Not everything in the store is hugely expensive, and it is an organizer's dream store.

It took a good bit of time to work my way through the store. They did offer a plus size section, but this was also haphazardly organized. I came away with several treasures! Brand new and some brand name items. I didn't spend more than $20 for any single item. The tags offer an additional discount off the listed price up to 25,40, and even 80% off. Best part were the fitting rooms. Nothing worse than getting home with a pile of treasure that don't fit or look right. The staff seemed to be fairly limited. But they were friendly and helpful with questions and suggestions.
