What an answer. I waited another week and the items had not arrived. I called her again and she had the same response. At that point i assumed she didn't want to sell the items and she was never going to send them. Two weeks after that i received the items. They were post marked three days prior. I bought two of bs55 one of the packages has the bolts rusted and the aluminum washers eaten up with corrosion. I called her and she said they will clean up with oil. I told her you could not clean up the washers due to them being aluminum and had been eaten up with the corrosion and the bolts finish would be damage. her response was i can get washers anywhere. I told her i was using them for a restoration and needed to be original. If i wanted to replace them with just any washer or bolt then why did I ordered them from her. With an attitude she said to return them. Know i have to spend money to send them back. WOW . I attached pictures of corroded and non corroded package. This would not be a big issue but her attitude is horrible..

More helpful than any hobby store I have ever been to. Their selection is not quite as big as some stores but the value and pricing is good so I will often order items from them if they do not have them in stock. Not to say their selection is not good. In fact, they have a large variety of used HO scale buildings and train cars for sale more than any hobby shop I have been too. I am always appreciative of them and their ability to answer many questions.

Almost the whole shop is back-issue comics and magazines, mostly bronze and modern age, plus a decent selection of new graphic novels and trades, old sci-fi / fantasy paperbacks, and some other collectibles. I knocked more items off my want list here than anywhere around the country in recent memory. Prices IMHO range from low to a bit high, so more than fair in the aggregate. Easy to browse despite the small space. Prices clearly marked. Easy parking. For the type of shop this is (the type I like most!), legitimately great.

Laid back, so you can browse without feeling like the staff is helicopter-ing you, but they're accessible enough to ask if you have a question. I'll have to drop back in from time to time.

It's been a few years, decades really, that I've glued together a model car kit, so I figured there would be no problem putting together Walther's plastic Plate Girder bridge and their single-track Truss bridge. Wrong, wrong, wrong. They use the cheapest plastic possible and the way they fit together......what a FRICKING joke! Their instruction sheet might as well be in Chinese (which is where this s__t is made anyway) for as useless as it is. I'm sorry I ever bought anything made by Walthers that wasn't a train. Unfortunately, I've found that in the model train industry, nobody wants to let you return anything without a re-stock fee, even my local retail train store. So, I guess I'm stuck making do. Good luck with your Chinese piece of crap!

I have no problem paying MSRP for a product at a local store, but they were charging ABOVE MSRP! I thought it may have been an error, so I checked a few more games and ALL were above MSRP! I asked the clerk behind the register about it and there was no real explanation given - he simply said he'd call the 'owner' and see why. Of course, there was no answer and no explanation. And, there was no sale! I like supporting local game stores, but charging above MSRP is a non-starter for me. No way I'll ever set foot in their stores again.
