When I got to the check out the cashier refused to honor the sale prices even though the floor staff had verified the sale prices for me and the sign saying the product was on sale was right near the item. The cashier refused to get someone to verify the price and would not call a manager. They may advertise great sale prices, but if the workers won't honor the sales then the sales are useless. The cashier was also super rude and talked down to me like how dare I shop their if I want a sale price honored. Very condescending and treated me like she would treat a poor person. Shows the character that Hobby Lobby puts front and center. Horrible customer service.

I took a class fromPatty and we were chatting about quilt customers. The conversation went along as I stated that in my years of operating a quilt store in Arizona that I only had one check bounce. That customer was is in my store with cash in her hand before I was even aware that her check had bounced. I also stated that quilters are a honest group of women. Patty stated that she had one check bounce. She also stated the ladies Name. That is so unprofessional. I took two Christmas quilts in before I left for a family reunion. I went over the details with Trish. It was a good four weeks when Trish called me to let me know that one of the quilts was completed and ready to pick up. Both quilts were identical, I thought that having the computer set up for one that the second one would be put on the machine next. When I picked up the first quilt I paid for both quilts. I was thinking that the second one would be next. I was so wrong. Trish had stated that she was going to have a procedure on for her knee and would be out for a few days. A few days turned into a week. My associate called me excited because her quilt was completed. Her quilt was taken in after I had taken my two quilts in. I called the shop and spoke to Trish who let me know that my second quilt would be going on next. Should be ready soon, after all she needed two full days to quilt my quilt. I called the shop again and was put off again. I had already paid in full to have the quilting done. I called and Patty answered in her sweet manner. I told her I was coming in and picking up my quilt. That I wanted a refund on top of it. I told her I would not say a word in the store. Which I did not open my mouth. I will not do anymore business with Fabric Play.

They actually had a few folks come over to help. However, at this store I had to ask for paper to wrap the additional vases I bought. To my dismay, the staff didn't ask to help me wrap them but instead gave me little paper and my receipt as if to say bye! I had to wrap the vases in my car. They really had some creative and talented artists and we enjoyed the afternoon here. Most of the artists were very friendly, welcoming and happy to share their work. A handful were too busy on their cell phones to notice people trying to ask questions and buy pieces. That's too bad when they took the time and effort to be here but maybe don't have the skill set to "sale". About 5-6 food trucks also set up near tables and a stage with live music. It would have been better if the stage faced a grassy area so people would feel compelled to bring chairs, blankets and hang out but that was not the case.
