Pros- -massage table was comfortable - the place was easy to find. I chose to park on a side street and walk a block because I wasn't sure about parking -people were nice Cons - my room was fairly well lit. Didn't help with feeling relaxed -my masseuse didn't turn music on until about 6-7 mins in. So up till then all I could hear was outside the door and my masseuse's breathing. Ugh! -the music was light jazz which would have been perfect for a cocktail party. There was no spa music which usually gives me that "zen" feeling -what my masseuse did on one side of my back, she did NOT do to the other. She favored my left side for some reason -I kept feeling a pulling on the sheets and I wasn't sure what that was. She kept stopping and doing something to the sheets -her strokes were not smooth and uninterrupted....they were choppy -she did not guide my body into the places they ought to be. Most masseuses gently place your head, leg, arms where they ought to be and promptly cover what is not needed for warmth. -she was texting while giving me the massage. Ugh! THE BIG CON---she LEFT midway through my massage to check if her keys were in her car. Again, I've had massages all over the globe and never have I been left in the room. She didn't even add on time for the time she was gone! I almost walked out Usually with massages, I'm in a completely relaxed state and drift between asleep and awake. With this one, I left fully alert and anxious for it to be done. I felt like I needed to go to the spa afterwards :-(

When I showed up for my appt they told me I cant use the gift certificate and turned around and took $5 off the total of my gift certificate and they called it a "processing fee" None of what they said made sense and this is obviously not the first time this situation has occured. What was supposed to be the cutest gift and relaxing time ended up being an unnecessary headache. Do not recommend!!!!

I would highly recommend Laying on of Hands Orthopedic Massage Therapy…read more Gary is gifted, educated and knowledgeable. He is also a great therapist and teacher with excellent assessment skills. Gary's personality and humor put me at ease from the outset of my appointment. My goal in going for an orthopedic massage is to come out feeling less pain or no pain in various parts of my body and to move with ease. After my first appointment I walked to the parking lot with a smile on my face realizing how 'loose'/ relaxed I felt in my walking. My low back pain was gone and I was walking easily without guarding my body for fear of pain. I have many issues and I am confident Gary will be able, in time to rebalance more muscles, so that I can become more active than ever and keep up with my grandchildren. You can book online (love it), but they ask you to call to make an appointment if you've never been. They got back to me the same day and were able to get me in the next day! I had Aaron as my massage therapist. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He made me comfortable right off the bat. We chatted briefly before my session and went over any issues I was dealing with. Instead of giving me the same old boring massage, he actually listened to me and concentrated on my trouble areas. He had a heated table, which i love even in the summer because i am always cold and he had soothing music playing in ther background. I don't treat myself very often, but I will come back to this establishment. She took her time massaging what needed more work than other places on my body.
