I waited for two customers in front of me to be seen, then moved up to an orange cone that seemed the front of the line and got a curt "stand behind the cone!" From one of the workers. I got up to the table and the other lady asked if I had an appointment. I said yes. She asked if I checked in. I said no. So she sent me to front with our girl on her phone. Rarely does a business commit the full trifecta of shit customer service, but these guys managed it in rare form: complacency, apathy, and crap attitude. Well done, PETCO. No more business for you.

She was fairly outgrown and I showed Yan some photos of cuts I liked and he did exactly want I wanted. YAY! He even texted me to ask if I wanted to come peek at her to make sure I was happy with what he had done. Our dog is 57 pounds with poodle type hair so I know she's not an easy dog to groom but he did a fabulous job! Because she's still growing and gets fed more than once a day, I paid the extra $5 for an additional feeding. They did say they adjust the amount of food given if the dogs are big or little eaters. I sent toys with our pup to make her feel more at home and I was pleasantly surprised when they couldn't find 2 of the toys right away because they had been washed and were still in the wash room! This wasn't my first time boarding at Farrington's. We boarded our dog prior to the puppy here several times and have always had a good experience. Their prices are fair and the staff friendly. I've also seen the kennels the dogs stay in which are clean, large and offer indoor and outdoor access.

I brought in my dog for daycare recently - he was there about 5 hours. He came home with four…read morefacial sores (eye, muzzle, chin) from trying to get out of the kennel. He was brought back to me and I asked about the sores (they also said he rolled in his pee). The staff mentioned he was calm when checked on, but he clearly struggled at first. They don't have cameras and house a lot of dogs so I get it but I believe this facility is better suited to dogs who are comfortable with traditional kennel environments, rather than sensitive dogs who need extra support or supervision. He was very nervous when brought in so I assumed he'd be monitored and given extra love. He also didn't eat any of his food (including peanut butter Kong). In hindsight it feels very sink or swim... I honestly don't know what happened but I also felt the accountability was low and there was no follow up by phone or email to see how he is doing. The wounds are a little more than superficial - he would've had to be rubbing on the same spot (metal cyclone) for 30 mins minimum to 2 hours (from what I read). I saw other dogs being walked and there were staff there but I wish I would've seen this before trying MY dog, specifically, there. He rebounded quickly but I can't bring him back as I don't trust his safety and well-being are supported.

While reversing out of my parking spot, a van came at me at a high speed without showing any signs of slowing down, intermittently looking down as if he were on his phone. When I attempted to move out of their way, they jerked their van to go around me, almost hitting my car in the process and without slowing down. When going to speak with this driver, he was getting a dog from a neighbors apartment. I said "excuse me" multiple times to get his attention while walking towards him, but he ignored me, dragging this poor doodle by his neck and collar to get to the van quicker. When I finally reached him, I got a quick "what" while basically throwing this dog into a van filled with other dogs unrestrained and jumping around. I told him he shouldn't be on his phone and needs to slow down when driving through a residential lot. He wouldn't look at me, but said he wasn't on his phone. I told him either way, he was going entirely too fast. He jumped in the drivers seat and slammed the door, still not looking at me. So I raised my voice saying it was incredibly unsafe how fast he was going and that he almost hit my car. Still ignoring me, he again sped off to get out of our apartment complex. If you use this service, beware. Based on photos, this may be the business owner, Matt. He was in a huge rush, was speeding and jerking the car around, not kind when walking this dog to his van, yanked him in, and then sped off again. With the dogs being unrestrained and his reckless driving, that could lead to injuries to those dogs. And to top it all off, he was INCREDIBLY rude after almost causing an accident! A little niceness and an apology would have gone a long way. Now, I will make sure none of my loved ones will ever use this service.
