I got all my teeth crowned by dr Sneider. My front teeth broke. It was evident thst lab caused defected tooth to break and dentist put in new ones. He credited me 1200 for tooth, as was fault of lab and/or dentist. Then tooth fell out. He says I need implant. That implant cracked and broke (2nd time lab made defect as dentist again offered reimburse for defected tooth) ok now 2 times' one time ok accident. 2 xs defected by same lab ok now we have prob. I was without teeth for 9 months paid 11,000 to fix and only to have 2 broken teeeth again .. Dentist replaced, free of cost for their fault. 9 months later, no tooth and $11,000 after oral surgeon and dentist cost after 2 weeks both my implants broke and defected AGAIN! He refunded me AGAIN 1200 cost for tooth and replacing AGAIN! Within one year two teeth broken and defected by lab crown world (two times defected, two times refunded credit for defected teeth by dr Sneider) Two times Both defected Both dr Sneider paid for Clearly there's an issue with quality and ethic moral of dr 9 months no front teeth, 2 times dentist inserted teeth that broke After 9 months no two Frint teeth, and spent 11,000 I am left with 2 cracked broken teeth and a nightmare Save yourself the hell I'm going through My life ruined I can't leave house Don't go here! Highly recommended!!!! 5 stars for sure! This review is just based on my experience. GOOD THINGS: 1) super punctual! You will receive your service almost exactly as your appointment time. In my other dentists, I usually need to wait for at least 30 minutes. 2) Great service! I only did my crown from Dr. Schneider and general cleaning from Dr. Alex( I think that is his name) there, really good service. If something happened to my crown, I will update. They both super friendly and have amazing voice, trust me, their voice make you really comfortable. 3) Never ask you to do stuff you do not need to. I ask Dr. Schneider if I need to do the deep cleaning, which my former general dentist told me I need 6 month ago. Dr. Schneider checked for me and told me I do not need to. Usually dentist will ask you to do that to make money. 4) The ladies on the front dest are super nice and friendly. SOME ADVICE: 1) Highly recommend to offer some goggles during the operation because the water in our moth will splash on our face. That is really normal, but some dentists offer some goggles or face shield which really helpful. 2) One of his assistants ( the Indian lady, I think that is where she is from) needs to improve her skills. Over all, I had a great experience in Dr. Schneider's office. I do not about other service in his office, but for crown and general cleaning, I highly recommend Dr. Schneider. I saw some 1 or 2 stars reviews, most them are more than 15 years ago, I guess maybe during that time, Dr. Schneider just started his career and like all beginners, we all not great at the beginning. read more

I was down the hall at an orthodontist appointment when it was clear I needed a dentist immediately (had a retainer in from 16 years ago and had it removed to find one tooth severely decayed). Dr. Schneider immediately saw me and was quick and to the point of what the issues were on the main tooth and the clear cavities I had from me not taking care of them correctly. He said "but the good news is, if you have a half an hour I can get you all fixed up right now". The next thing I know it's a whirlwind of a well functioning team and a dentist who clearly just knows what the hell hes doing. It was done before I knew it and it was so efficient that I get like I accomplished something. Had me out of there quickly, for a reasonable price, and totally saved my mouth. Several years ago, I left my regular dentist because of attitude issues. I found Dr. Schneider, and have never been happier. He is an absolute professional, who truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to inform you of the issues, solutions, and procedure. He also works with other amazing dental professionals in the same building. If the issue is something that requires a specialist, he makes sure you are seen by some as qualified as he is. His fees are very reasonable especially consider the absolute highest quality of work. I have never had an issue with any of his fees. He seems more interested in caring for his patients than billing them. His office staff are all amazing and professional. Dr. Schneider is the only dentist that I have ever seen who has been honest and not tried to upsell. In fact, I asked him about porcelain veneers and after examining my teeth, he instead suggested I try a routine of sensodyne for a few weeks and then crest white strips. He took full x-rays and said my teeth were in great shape, to continue doing what I'm doing and come back for periodic check ups and cleanings. He said I had no cavities (I've had dentists tell me I had cavities when I know I did not...and Dr. Schneider only confirmed that). Anyways he just won a lifelong patient! read more

The building this office is located in does not validate your parking unless you are an LA Fitness member. Otherwise, the receptionist told me the fee will run you $20. If you're a normal person, you're probably thinking there's no way you'll pay such an atrocious fee. The receptionist had suggested Weyburn and Broxton, which is pretty much where UCLA is, but luckily, there's free two hour parking across the street between Midvale and Ashton, a quick 0.3 miles away. Everyone I encountered at Dr. Schneider's office was very welcoming and attentive. I never got to meet Dr. Schneider, just his hygienist and another doctor, but they gave me opportunities to ask questions and occasionally made sure I was feeling fine during my cleaning. I was also given samples of floss and toothpaste as well as a toothbrush, yay! After the hygienist was finished, I waited around for Dr. Mishkin to see me about my x-rays and check my teeth again. I nodded off waiting for her, maybe 15-20 minutes, and when she came in, she was very friendly and quick. So far, so good! May have updates in another six months. read more

I've been a patient of Michael Schneider for a little over 10 years now. I drive from Ontario to Los Angeles just to see him because his work is outstanding! Of course there are many dentists that are more convienantly located to me, but Dr. Schneider is an exceptional dentist, and when someone's working on your teeth, you should want the very best. His office is in a very nice part of Los Angeles off Wilshire and the 405fwy. Right off the freeway, easy to get to, close parking and a gorgeous building. He specializes is cosmetic and restorative dentistry, He is the only person that does work on my teeth aside from his hygienist that does my cleanings. He is extremely nice and has a great sense of humor, as well as personable, efficient, professional, and always makes me feel comfortable. And believe me when I say that he's got his work cut out for him with me, because I'm one of those patients that is absolutely terrified of dentists, drills and needles, and he has such a calming and sweet personality that I'm instantly relaxed. And bonus... I can't even feel his shots! He takes his time with you and is very patient explaining and answering questions, he makes sure you understand everything. I even asked him once if he could see me on a Saturday because I couldn't get out there during the week due to my work schedule, and he opened his office up just for me that day :) How cool is that!? He genuinely cares about his patients, which is very rare these days. So many people don't take pride in their work, and he truly does. He travels all over the world lecturing for the company "Lumineers", as well as lecturing on mimimally invasive cosmetic denistry. All the work he's ever done on me has been excellent and always exceeded my highest expectations. Everyone that works for him are all amazing, it's always a pleasure whenever I visit. I never thought I'd look forward to going to the dentist, but I can honestly say that I look forward to seeing Dr Schneider. I had a lot of dental work done before I had my braces put on at a "school of denistry" when I was a teenager, and they did horrible work. He has fixed all their bad work and he has changed my smile and made me so much more confident, I am a very happy patient - and will be his patient forever :) If you read my other reviews, I give credit where credit is due... and have no problem saying when I get bad service. And Dr Schneider definitely deserves the highest possible rating on here! read more

Dr. Schneider's office has an excellent hygienist and Dr. Schneider himself is a really pleasant person who is competent at small work like fillings... for that, I'm giving him two stars. Unfortunately as someone else posted, his root canal work is substandard. I had one root canal done by Dr. Schneider; my mother had a few. Within a couple of years (and after paying thousands of dollars), my mother's posts all broke, resulting in her having to have all of those teeth pulled. My crown first broke a few months after Dr. Schneider put it in... he almost charged me for a new one until I argued that the life expectancy of a crown should be longer than a few months. When it broke again a few years later, I went to another dentist who said, "This is terrible work. Your old dentist shaved the tooth down too much and used a post that's too thin... I can put in a thicker post, but your tooth will probably eventually break." It did and I had to have the tooth pulled. If you're on the west side, have dental insurance and only need small work done, he's a fine dentist. But if he tells you you need a root canal or other major work, I highly recommend finding another dentist. read more

I've been going here sine I was scammed a few years ago by some unscrupulous Brentwood dentist. Dr. Schneider runs an ethical and efficient office. His staff is sincerely concerned and will give you the care you need, and only more if you ask. I get my teeth cleaned by Alex, who has been excellent over the last few years. Dr. Schneider may or may not be in to finish your check up, but they take the necessary images and they'll call you if anything is wrong. I went to Doctor Schneider's office for my dental cleaning. My hygienist was Alex. I had a great experience. My appointment was for 4 pm and I was seeing on time. Alex was very pleasant during the teeth cleaning. I did not feel any discomfort on my gums or teeth. Once he was done with the cleaning he polished my teeth. He gave me some good suggestion of toothbrush since I have few area of gum recession in my mouth. When Alex was done with my cleaning, doctor Schneider came to do my dental exam. He has such a great vibe and he is very friendly. After the exam, I received the good news of no cavities. I definitely recommend Doctor Schneider's office. Nice office and friendly staff. read more

I have been going to Dr. Schneider for 12 years. All I can say is that he has always been amazing. He is one of the most thorough and caring physicians/dentists I have ever met. He spends time with you and will answer any question or concern (no matter how small or insignificant). And, he will call you at home to follow up. Best of all he has a way of making you feel calm about going to the dentist. That is a rare gift! Whenever I have had an emergency, they have always gotten me in as soon as possible to make sure I am well taken care of. Especially his assistant, Kathy is the reason why I keep going to his office. She is absolutely great!, cares about me as a patient, and gives me her professional opinion articulately. Without her, I probably wouldn't be there. Before I happened to find his office- through my dental insurance company-, I went to several different dentists in West Los Angeles area and was not happy about the result. Dr. Schneider was very professional, super rational, and makes a decision after discussing with me until I understand about the best treatment for me. He is a fast talker with quirky sense of humor which makes me relax before drilling! If I talk to him what/how I want/need precisely-yes, he is running from a room to another, I think we patients have to understand that he is super busy (teaching at USC, traveling to overseas to lecture, and seeing patients!) so we need to tell him our need very quickly and clearly-his treatment always satisfies me. I recently fixed my chipped front teeth crown, and because of that, I decided to do Lumineer Veneer on most of my front upper and lower teeth. I had to redo on few of them because the result was not perfect. He cares patients' satisfaction more than anything and I truly appreciate his professionalism! I couldn't believe my luck and relief, particularly when he made room for me in the schedule to come straight from the airport and get it fixed so I could enjoy the rest of my weekend with my crown securely in place. Sadly I went into this office with a complaint of a sharp edge in a back tooth. Next thing I know a female dentist is filling 3 teeth and she cracks my rear molar. It was so painful and I could tell she was a total amateur. She was working on the one tooth for almost 40 minutes and it hurt the entire time. This MD is no longer at this office. So I had to then PAY the Dr here to tell me the tooth was broken - shave the tooth down and put a crown on. All because I had a sharp edge and instead of waiting to see Dr Schneider I saw some piss poor cheap doctor he paid to do the work. Any way the pain is not gone - I have a crown on and truth is I probably should have done a root canal to fix the problem - again all this because i went into the office to have a sharp edge filed down. Honestly the Dr was somewhat nice about the repair but I regret his charging me and I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone again. PS doc please dont write me back about coming in. *Recommend* Because I was experiencing an excruciating amount of pain (from a tooth that required a root canal), I scheduled an emergency appointment on a Sunday with a dentist that not only ran hour late, but he didn't bother to notify me until he arrived. To describe the severity of the condition, I was on the floor, and my boyfriend had to carry me down the hall. We were so upset and couldn't wait any longer. My boyfriend found Dr. Schneider's contact information from performing a Google search, whom luckily happened to be in that same building. He arrived in LESS THAN 5 minutes, acted quickly and treated me all within half an hour. He explained my condition, next steps and what to expect post treatment all very clearly. The level of professionalism and care Dr. Schneider exhibited was the best I've experienced overall, and compared to the other 3 dentists I've seen in LA. He acted quickly, was straight to the point and all the while made me feel calm during my appointment.
