An incredible dentist with incredible staff (shoutout to Kathy and Jamie!), I feel lucky to have found Dr. Videgain when I did. I had just gotten a diagnosis on my teeth that didn't sit right with me/was going to cost me a lot of money, so decided to see him for a second opinion. Turns out everything was fine, and he and Kathy took the time to explain everything to me and I learned so much about what the actual problem was (that didn't involve any work). Can't recommend him enough! read more

Been seeing Dr. Videgain for about 10 years. I couldn't be happier with the treatment and family environment at his office. Everyone I've referred has loved Dr. Videgain too! So thankful for him and his staff! read more

I can't say enough about Dr. Videgain and his staff. The world would be a better place if everyone operated their business the way this team does. Upon first arriving to the office, it was clear that everything was handled with pride - very clean, great technology - even the background music and screen saver images on the monitors in front of your chair were chosen with care. After having my x-rays done, Dr. Videgain gave me succinct explanations of what might need to be done to get me back on the "straight and narrow" which was right in line with what I expected (including a possible wisdom tooth extraction), but he gave me PLENTY of options. I've had my teeth cleaned (easy), one filling fixed (also a breeze), and yesterday I had a wisdom tooth pulled by the oral surgeon who's part of the team (Dr. Nahigian). Again, as simple as it could be. I was able to manage the pain afterward with ibruprofen. It's now a day later, and I haven't taken any pain relievers. I've practically forgotten I've had a wisdom tooth pulled. If you're particular, and are creeped out by the invasiveness of getting your mouth examined like I am, go to Dr. Videgain. He and his wonderful team will take amazing care of you! read more

As a patient for more than 6 years (at least 15 appointments) , I can say the three dentists in this practice - Samuel, Videgain and Wagner, are awesome. Aside from the fact that all three are personable, reasonable and excellent dentists, they run a well oiled machine. This office is more efficient than any other medical or dental practice I've encountered in 40 years. No joke. They are always on time, they follow up on everything and the entire process is very efficient. And EVERYONE SMILES HERE. All the time. The office is clean and it has the latest equipment. I've never had a complaint and I am a former healthcare administrator. If you are in or near Santa Monica, this is the only dental practice you need. Highly recommended! read more

The best dentist in LA. Period. Do yourself a favor and let him take care of you. You will thank yourself later.

Dr. Videgain and the staff that work in his office are wonderful. I trust him completely. Even though I have left Santa Monica and it sometimes takes me 45 minutes to get to/from his office, it's worth the drive. I saw another dentist (when my insurance didn't cover Dr. Videgain) who filled my cavity and the filling fell out 3x in less than 2 months. As soon as I switched jobs and was covered with Dr. Videgain, I went back to him (I couldn't wait) for the filling. Dr. Videgain fixed it and it hasn't fallen out in over 2 years. He is definitely a cut (no pun intended) above the rest. read more

My visit with Dr. Videgain was probably the most positive experience I have ever had with a dentist, despite the fact that he told me that I would probably be needing a root canal. The office was clean and modern, and everyone I met was extremely friendly. But beyond that, Dr. Videgain actually took the time to sit down and talk to me, and not just about my teeth. And when we got down to the tooth business, he was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me what he was doing. I am actually looking forward to going back. To the dentist. That really says something. read more

I can't tell you how grateful I am to have found Dr. Videgain. I have a whole mess of health problems and most doctors get scared to treat me because my health can be complicated. This extends to the dentist - I can't lay flat because it's very difficult to breathe, I cough a lot (not contagious) and I need accommodations and adjustments to get dental work. Dr. V and the lovely Kathy treat me like a normal patient and don't blink when I request adjustments to help breathing. As frequent flier in the medical field due to all my issues, I can tell you this is NOT the norm and Dr. V and his staff's concern for my well being shows what heart they have. I can't tell you how much I value being treated with such kindness and consideration - this practice is the best of the best. Thank you Dr. V, Kathy and everyone at the office for being so kind to me and my needs! I will be forever grateful! read more

I've been there for years and recommended Dr. V to many people. They are wonderful and Dr. V. is gentle, kind and caring. Let's not forget funny. Love the hygienist Tanya. They took my European teeth from pretty bad to US standards :) Feel like family there. read more

I'm always impressed by Dr. Videgain and his friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had a very bad experience years ago with a root canal which has created a high level of anxiety and fear when going to the dentist. I just completed a root canal with their in-house Endodontist and he did a fabulous job. I had no pain and he even called me that evening to check up on me. Dr. Videgain is compassionate, light-handed and calming. He always tells you what he is going to do next so that you know what to expect. He and his "right-hand" Kathy where incredibly fast and efficient. Also, their front desk woman, Jamie is always warm and recommends the best parking in the area to avoid tickets. I would absolutely send my friends and family to Dr. Videgain and his team. Thank you! read more

If I could give Dr. Videgain and his staff 10 stars, I would. I hadn't been to the dentist in roughly a decade, and I was terrified and embarrassed by my teeth. I had been to several of the "your teeth are terrible and you are a bad person" dentists when I was younger, and I was scarred for life. I was NOT excited about going to the dentist. I found Dr. Videgain through yelp, and wow, the yelpers are right on! Dr. Videgain is the kindest and most guilt-free dentist I've ever had--in fact, he made me feel great about finally coming in to see him! His staff is very friendly, helpful and fun to be around. They remember my name, are kind to my referrals, are also very gentle, which is a major plus. I've been a patient of Dr. Videgain's for only a few months, and lucky me, I have come out of his office with 2 root canals, 2 gum procedures & more. And yes, even after that, I still am thrilled to write him a raving review. The most amazing part: NO PAIN & NO GUILT TRIPS! Who goes to the dentist for crazy dental work and feels great coming out? Dr. Videgain's patients! He's a lot of fun, has a young spirit and I actually look forward to going to his office. 10 stars for Dr. Videgain & his staff! read more

Lifesavers! Thank goodness for Dr. Anthony Guerrero and Kathy. I was actually looking forward to a root canal as I had a back molar driving me nuts for a month and a half. Dr. Guerrero and Kathy worked their professional magic and it was a great experience. I woke up today in such relief, like a brand new woman. Their entire office staff was so friendly too. Thank you thank you! read more

I came to California in December 2001. I was lucky to find a good primary care Dr but I walked into about 15 Dentist office and walked out. Dirty, didn't smell good, lack of customer service, and numerous other things. I finally asked my primary care Dr who he went to and that is how I met Dr Vidigan and his wonderful staff. From the moment I walked in his office I felt like family instant bonding. If it wasn't for him I would not have the beautiful smile I have today. So if you are looking for a Dentist go look but if you want the best Dentist go to Dr Videgain you will be so glad you did The whole office is great you won't find another one like it read more

Dear Reader, When my DDS retired I was devastated. Just to give you a little background, I'm terrified of sitting in a dental chair, whether it be for a cleaning or a filling with oral sedation. Luckily I found Dr. Eric Videgain and his lovely chair side assistant "magic" Kathy. The work synergy between the two is amazing. There's a lot to be said for excellent communication between a team. They are able to make me feel so comfortable in the chair, I forget my mouth was wide open. I happened to get my first shot in the roof of my mouth today. I have heard horror stories of how painful they are. I gripped the chair preparing for the worst. Good thing Dr. Shot Master Videgain was at hand; It was only a mini pinch, and that is coming from a dental chicken. I have jabbed myself harder with a tooth brush by accident brushing my teeth. I really appreciate how conservative Dr. Videgain is with treatment. He's not trying to give you treatment you don't need. He is able to help you though the understanding and level of dental treatment you need. If you want it finished correctly you'll see Dr. Videgain at his fantastic team. Now on to the front office staff. WOW! What can I say but FLAWLESS! They are cheerful, magicians with a tough schedule, and on top of everything. The care giving level is top notch. A true UNICORN team. I must give great thanks to this lovely, super clean, professional, office as a whole for taking me as a patient. I feel like family and unafraid now to sit in what use to be "The Big Bad Dental Chair" without oral sedation. THANK YOU! read more

He promised it wouldn't hurt and it really didn't hurt!! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The doctor himself followed up after the procedure to check in on how I'm doing. Pretty sure not many doctors personally check in on patients these days! read more

I highly recommend this place~ I needed a new and good dentist and was recommended to go to this place. When I booked my appointment, the very kind receptionist asked if I had a preference of doctors- I didn't. I got there and the staff was so nice! I got my x-rays done. Dr. Videgain came to meet me before the x-rays and he was so wonderful. He made honest, professional, recommendations. I also had a cleaning done. And again, I was very impressed by how great Tania was. I am not changing my dentist again!!! read more

Dr. Videgain is fantastic! He was my first dentist when I moved to LA 10 years ago. However, when my insurance changed, I changed dentists. Big mistake. Three crappy dentists and a bad filing later, I returned to Dr. Videgain. I will never go to another dentist as long as I live in LA. He's so gentle and has such a calming manner, you can almost forget he's performing dental work. The entire staff here is exceptional. read more

My friend recommended Dr. Videgain. I had an appointment with him today and found that he's a friendly, professional and personable dentist who takes his time during consultations. Tanya, the hygienist who did the cleaning, was thorough and gentle during the procedure and kept an eye on the clock. Offices are clean and staff feels inviting. Punctual which I really, really respect. Everyone was friendly, warm atmosphere and I would recommend this dental office to friends and family. read more

Dr. Videgain is awesome! I never thought I'd say that about a dentist (due to childhood experiences) but he truly is! I hate getting shots and Dr. Videgain is always very gentle and has techniques to ease the pain too! He is a great dentist, very friendly, and does his best to make patients feel comfortable. A friend recommended him and after my first visit, I was hooked. I've also recommended friends and they love working with Dr. Videgain. The staff is amazing, they're always friendly and very helpful. Although I no longer go to Dr. Videgain due to dental insurance reasons (I switched jobs and got new insurance), I still highly recommend him and hope to work with him again. read more

Oh, I am so relieved to have found a great dentist. I have had several bad dental experiences here in LA (as I am sure many of you have) so I felt compelled to write this review and hopefully spare you the same. Dr Videgain was patient, gentle, friendly...He explains everything he is doing and really takes his time with you. Willing to answer questions. Awesome staff. They will give you little ipods to listen to during treatments and you even get a warm hand towel at the end. If you need a dentist, I highly recommend him. read more

Dr. Videgain has been my dentist for several years now, and he is fantastic. I first started going to him as he was highly recommended by everyone at my old company, and was just a few blocks from the office. Now, even though my work has changed and he's no longer just a few blocks away, and hasn't been for a few years now, I can't imagine ever switching dentists. I go clear across town, by bus, to continue to have Dr. Videgain as my very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, extremely gentle dentist. The office staff there is also very friendly and between the dentists, hygienists, and office staff, it's a really solid team out there! read more

Dr. Videgain is calm, kind, and knowledgeable. Plus, his staff is really nice. They recently called me on a Saturday to help me with a billing question. Plus, they were really nice about it. Amazing! I really appreciate it. read more

Dr. Eric Videgain is an exceptional dentist. He is caring, compassionate and gentle. Over the many years that I have been going to him, he has never pushed a treatment, unless it was medically necessary. His approach to dentistry is conservative and individual. Such an excellent doctor, dental hygienist and staff. Thank you Sarah for the recommendation!

Dr. Videgain and his wonderful team (from receptionists to assistants) make every visit so absolutely seamless and wonderful. The continuity in service and the positive spirit of the team is undeniable. The best way to illustrate my level of satisfaction is that I seize every possible chance to refer folks, arguably the best indication and metric of successful business (taking the time to Yelp means something). I have had countless negative experiences in my past and I have a whole new outlook. Dr. V and team have helped me through intense emergencies and routine visits, they have been such a reliable resource. Dr. V's has this amazing ability to step into the patient's shoes and pacify every worry and insecurity. He does this through amazing communication skills, patience, listening, and subject matter expertise. I trust him and his advice, he has earned it. read more

I think half my workplace goes to Dr. Videgain, and I can understand why. He is gentle, professional, punctual, respectful, and skilled. I can't speak highly enough of this practice. Everyone is just lovely. read more

I've had mixed experiences here. Had to go back a few times to get things fixed that weren't corrected properly the first visit. Front office staff can be snotty and surly when scheduling appts and they are vague about billing and what things will cost. I am not sure i would send people there for those reasons. Too much of a factory and not a small caring practice i came from before my dentist retired. read more

+++++Wow wow! 5 stars for Dr. Videgain and his crew at the clinic. Here is the story: My wife and I were on our honeymoon in Santa Monica for a week. The day of the wedding my wife went to the dentist and they found an abscess under her crown. They gave her pain killers and went on with the weekend. When we got to LA she was in pain and it wasn't till the 3rd day that she decided to do some action. We started Google research and found a plethora of dentist. It was actually amazing, but luckily somehow we found the positive feedback that Dr. Videgain had on yelp.com. First thing we called at 9am and told them our story and how we are on our honeymoon. The office assistants were quite helpful and really understanding of our situation. They got us an appointment at 1030 am that same day!!! Once we got there we were greeted by the front desk, which was an amazing and outgoing staff. Really organized! They made my wife fill the paper work and let her in to the office for the procedure. Dr. Videgain found the abscess, cut the side of her gum to let it drain. GREAT JOB! She felt a lot better the remainder of the honeymoon. He then had called me in to explain the situation and tried to get to know us. Not only was Dr. Videgain a great dentist, but a great guy/person. He has excellent interpersonal skills and is very honest man. You can see it in his personality and how he carries himself as a professional business man. The day after Dr. Videgan had called my wife to see how she was doing. I live in Miami and no dentist has called me to see how I was doing, that was the most amazing thing. My wife had a question and just called his cell phone, he answered all our questions. He also suggested some places to go in Malibu. I was astonished by Dr. Videgan work and follow up. I didn't feel as if I was at the dentist, I felt like he is running the place as a 5 star resort or restaurant. When I move to Santa Monica, he will definitly be my dentist and Highly recommend him to anybody. read more

Dr. Videgain is AWESOME. I would recommend anyone to him. His whole staff and he are beyond nice and accommodating. Dr. Videgain is, bar none, the finest dentist in California, If not the country. He is thoughtful, gentle and astoundingly empathetic with an intellect and skill set that are mind-blowing. As one who is terrified of pain, riddled with dental anxiety and filled with shame about the state of my mouth, Dr. Videgain instantly and tenderly put me at ease. His first words: "You can genuinely relax. This is not a shaming place." And I melted into his chair. His colleagues and staff are equally extraordinary. Whatever your issue, run -- don't walk -- to his office and never ever wince at the thought of the dentist again. Put simply, this guy is a gift. Accept it!! read more
