I can't say enough about Dr. Videgain and his staff. The world would be a better place if everyone operated their business the way this team does. Upon first arriving to the office, it was clear that everything was handled with pride - very clean, great technology - even the background music and screen saver images on the monitors in front of your chair were chosen with care. After having my x-rays done, Dr. Videgain gave me succinct explanations of what might need to be done to get me back on the "straight and narrow" which was right in line with what I expected (including a possible wisdom tooth extraction), but he gave me PLENTY of options. I've had my teeth cleaned (easy), one filling fixed (also a breeze), and yesterday I had a wisdom tooth pulled by the oral surgeon who's part of the team (Dr. Nahigian). Again, as simple as it could be. I was able to manage the pain afterward with ibruprofen. It's now a day later, and I haven't taken any pain relievers. I've practically forgotten I've had a wisdom tooth pulled. If you're particular, and are creeped out by the invasiveness of getting your mouth examined like I am, go to Dr. Videgain. He and his wonderful team will take amazing care of you! read more

I can't tell you how grateful I am to have found Dr. Videgain. I have a whole mess of health problems and most doctors get scared to treat me because my health can be complicated. This extends to the dentist - I can't lay flat because it's very difficult to breathe, I cough a lot (not contagious) and I need accommodations and adjustments to get dental work. Dr. V and the lovely Kathy treat me like a normal patient and don't blink when I request adjustments to help breathing. As frequent flier in the medical field due to all my issues, I can tell you this is NOT the norm and Dr. V and his staff's concern for my well being shows what heart they have. I can't tell you how much I value being treated with such kindness and consideration - this practice is the best of the best. As a patient for more than 6 years (at least 15 appointments) , I can say the three dentists in this practice - Samuel, Videgain and Wagner, are awesome. Aside from the fact that all three are personable, reasonable and excellent dentists, they run a well oiled machine. This office is more efficient than any other medical or dental practice I've encountered in 40 years. No joke. They are always on time, they follow up on everything and the entire process is very efficient. And EVERYONE SMILES HERE. All the time. The office is clean and it has the latest equipment. Dr. Videgain and the staff that work in his office are wonderful. I trust him completely. Even though I have left Santa Monica and it sometimes takes me 45 minutes to get to/from his office, it's worth the drive. I saw another dentist (when my insurance didn't cover Dr. Videgain) who filled my cavity and the filling fell out 3x in less than 2 months. As soon as I switched jobs and was covered with Dr. Videgain, I went back to him (I couldn't wait) for the filling. Dr. Videgain fixed it and it hasn't fallen out in over 2 years. My visit with Dr. Videgain was probably the most positive experience I have ever had with a dentist, despite the fact that he told me that I would probably be needing a root canal. I had a very bad experience years ago with a root canal which has created a high level of anxiety and fear when going to the dentist. I just completed a root canal with their in-house Endodontist and he did a fabulous job. I had no pain and he even called me that evening to check up on me. Dr. Videgain is compassionate, light-handed and calming. He always tells you what he is going to do next so that you know what to expect. I came to California in December 2001. I was lucky to find a good primary care Dr but I walked into about 15 Dentist office and walked out. Dirty, didn't smell good, lack of customer service, and numerous other things. I finally asked my primary care Dr who he went to and that is how I met Dr Vidigan and his wonderful staff. From the moment I walked in his office I felt like family instant bonding. If it wasn't for him I would not have the beautiful smile I have today. If I could give Dr. Videgain and his staff 10 stars, I would. I hadn't been to the dentist in roughly a decade, and I was terrified and embarrassed by my teeth. I had been to several of the "your teeth are terrible and you are a bad person" dentists when I was younger, and I was scarred for life. I was NOT excited about going to the dentist. I found Dr. Videgain through yelp, and wow, the yelpers are right on! Dr. Videgain is the kindest and most guilt-free dentist I've ever had--in fact, he made me feel great about finally coming in to see him! His staff is very friendly, helpful and fun to be around. They remember my name, are kind to my referrals, are also very gentle, which is a major plus. I've been a patient of Dr. Videgain's for only a few months, and lucky me, I have come out of his office with 2 root canals, 2 gum procedures & more. Dear Reader, When my DDS retired I was devastated. Just to give you a little background, I'm terrified of sitting in a dental chair, whether it be for a cleaning or a filling with oral sedation. Luckily I found Dr. Eric Videgain and his lovely chair side assistant "magic" Kathy. The work synergy between the two is amazing. There's a lot to be said for excellent communication between a team. They are able to make me feel so comfortable in the chair, I forget my mouth was wide open. I happened to get my first shot in the roof of my mouth today. I have heard horror stories of how painful they are. I gripped the chair preparing for the worst. Good thing Dr. Shot Master Videgain was at hand; It was only a mini pinch, and that is coming from a dental chicken. I have jabbed myself harder with a tooth brush by accident brushing my teeth. I really appreciate how conservative Dr. Videgain is with treatment. He's not trying to give you treatment you don't need. He is able to help you though the understanding and level of dental treatment you need. If you want it finished correctly you'll see Dr. Videgain at his fantastic team. Now on to the front office staff. WOW! What can I say but FLAWLESS! They are cheerful, magicians with a tough schedule, and on top of everything. The care giving level is top notch. A true UNICORN team. I must give great thanks to this lovely, super clean, professional, office as a whole for taking me as a patient. When I booked my appointment, the very kind receptionist asked if I had a preference of doctors- I didn't. I got there and the staff was so nice! I got my x-rays done. I first started going to him as he was highly recommended by everyone at my old company, and was just a few blocks from the office. I've had mixed experiences here. Had to go back a few times to get things fixed that weren't corrected properly the first visit. Front office staff can be snotty and surly when scheduling appts and they are vague about billing and what things will cost. I am not sure i would send people there for those reasons. +++++Wow wow! 5 stars for Dr. Videgain and his crew at the clinic. Here is the story: My wife and I were on our honeymoon in Santa Monica for a week. The day of the wedding my wife went to the dentist and they found an abscess under her crown. They gave her pain killers and went on with the weekend. When we got to LA she was in pain and it wasn't till the 3rd day that she decided to do some action. We started Google research and found a plethora of dentist. It was actually amazing, but luckily somehow we found the positive feedback that Dr. Videgain had on yelp.com. First thing we called at 9am and told them our story and how we are on our honeymoon. The office assistants were quite helpful and really understanding of our situation. They got us an appointment at 1030 am that same day!!! Once we got there we were greeted by the front desk, which was an amazing and outgoing staff. Really organized! They made my wife fill the paper work and let her in to the office for the procedure. Dr. Videgain found the abscess, cut the side of her gum to let it drain. GREAT JOB! She felt a lot better the remainder of the honeymoon. He then had called me in to explain the situation and tried to get to know us. Not only was Dr. Videgain a great dentist, but a great guy/person. He has excellent interpersonal skills and is very honest man. You can see it in his personality and how he carries himself as a professional business man. The day after Dr. Videgan had called my wife to see how she was doing. I live in Miami and no dentist has called me to see how I was doing, that was the most amazing thing. My wife had a question and just called his cell phone, he answered all our questions. He also suggested some places to go in Malibu. I was astonished by Dr. Videgan work and follow up.
