They seem to be using more updated stuff because I didn't have as bad of a time as I've heard other people have with drinking the medicine. Dad's side of the family also had fatty liver which I also have, so we both come here for that as well. I had a fiberscan done here just recently. Thank god they have that so I don't ever have to get biopsied again (fingers crossed) because biopsies huuuuurt and fiberscans just tickle, at the worst.

You're passed around, ignored, or treated rudely, and no one seems to be on the same page. It's no surprise that doctors are leaving this place left and right. Nurse apologized when she took me back to wait another 30 minutes. Doctor did not apologize at all, and did the bare minimum to justify a copay. So far I've paid $575, but I keep receiving bills that show $175 balance (now over 90 days and subject to collection). The bills do NOT reflect my payments and after multiple calls and attempts to resolve this, NO ONE can tell me the actual balance of my account. At this point I believe they owe me a refund, but it's impossible to determine that. Do NOT recommend unless you want to chase your bills through an obviously incompetent billing system and potentially affect your credit rating . . . nine months and counting.

Someone finally called me back with an appt in August. The pre-cert lady, Billie Early, verbally tells me the facility, dr and anesthesiologist are all included in the cost and that she talked to my insurance and I will have no cost. I asked her to send that in writing but she won't. The written documentation they sent to me states in addition to the facility charge I will receive a dr. charge, CRNA charge and Diag Center charge. This tells me either Ms. Early is mistaken in her information. Past experience tells me I will receive a bill, explain what the pre cert lady said; they will say she's no longer there or that they don't know what she said and that it's all in the written documentation. It's amazing to me, the medical profession is the only service where you have to give people carte blanche to charge yo whatever they want AFTER the service and incur charges on your behalf with third parties and you have no control over any of it except to pay for it after you get the bill.
