Dr Scanlon genuinely gets to know you and make sure that she's detailed in her synopsis. If anything's ever forgotten, it's because I forgot to mention it upon appointment, the front desk could be better, but in any medical setting where you have a large patient load, it's what's going to happen. Maybe a bigger office with more area for the people at the desk could fix some of the backup/complaints but this is south florida, no ones going to be happy anywhere.

A week later I was told the doctor is no longer in-network with our insurance company, and we will need to pay cash. In those eleven months no one notified us of this change, giving us no time to find a new primary or to change to a plan she accepts. And worse yet, this week when we needed our scripts renewed her office denied the pharmacy's requests. Leaving us with no medications until our upcoming appointment with our new doctor. Not very professional and dangerous especially when all her records are hard copies and not computerized. So beware. The front desk also doesn't return calls or give the doctor messages we leave regarding our questions about our health or medicines or to get referrals. As I mentioned, the doctor is one of the best but her support staff brings her down to one star.
