Broken TV, dark and gloomy and they could use some designer to come in and redecorate the place. Luckily my wait was short. Patients are discouraged from speaking their true thoughts on Yelp and Google after the visit. My opinion- Davis is an unethical dentist practice that places money before the welfare of their patients. The worst part is, they have an ongoing ad in St Anthony's weekly bulletin. This practice saw not only one but two children of mine. Subsequently, I had my own exam a couple months later. At the end of my exam.... (in which they did not give me an oral hygienist to clean my teeth)... told me that they do not accept my insurance (about 2 or 3 months after they saw my daughters), and tell me AFTER my exam, that they must bill upfront the costs, then I have to wait for my insurance company to reimburse me. I confronted their business administrator asking why they chose to treat my two daughters, then myself many months later and NOT advise me that they were not part of my dental insurance group. She then tells me that this is just the way they do things. There is no other medical specialty that expects payment upfront before filing a claim through insurance. They want to put 100% of the risk on the patient. And if there is a dispute between what the insurance company reimburses and what Davis wants to charge, you are left holding the bag. This is a very unethical business. Take your business elsewhere.

I had been fitted with a temporary "flipper" for four months while the bone healed, but it had become uncomfortable to eat with, so as I was in Texas, I made an appointment with Dr. Crumpton to have it adjusted. On the way there, I took a phone call, the flipper became loose so I set it on my car dashboard, and--disaster!--it took a joy ride down into the air vent, never to be seen again without dismantling the whole dashboard of my car. Dr. Crumpton's staff were wonderfully kind and patient, his dental assistant even coming outside to help me look for it. Even though this implant procedure was not being done by them, Dr. Crumpton immediately stepped in to help. Knowing I was leaving for London the following week and couldn't possibly go with a front tooth missing, he arranged to get me fitted the very next day, at a very reasonable price, and without ever making me feel foolish for what had happened. Thanks to their professionalism, kindness, and generosity, my new temporary tooth will be ready next week--just in time for my flight. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Crumpton and his team--they are not only highly professional but also compassionate and caring and did not try to gauge me on the price.

They checked it out told me I could keep my tooth and just put a crown on it. The dental assistant was great , however the male main dentist, not so much we will get more into that later. So I came in for a second appointment. They shaved my tooth down and put on a temporary crown. After a few days I had to come back in to have them shave down the temporary tooth because it was cutting my tongue. I let them know during the appointment that my mouth was still numb on both sides and they told me it would go away. Well it took over two month due to them hitting a nerve. The dentist response to when I told him my mouth was still numb was ," well... hopefully it will come back soon." I was then told the crown would be ready in a week or two, they told me they would give me a call back when it was ready. Three weeks goes by then five weeks, so I called the dentist and they were like it's ready, and set up an appointment. Still don't understand why I had to call them and not me but not the point. I go in to get the crown on, I explain to the dentist how it hurts to eat with the crown. He told me it was probably from the temp. Crown. So I go no numbing and no laughing gas because he told me there should be no pain. He takes it off , touches my tooth once. Instant pain down my jaw. I have him numb me then he puts on the crown and I move on with my life. I did my research was still having pain it said to wait a few weeks before calling back the dentist if pain was still occurring. So still I could not eat on that side of my mouth. I call back after a few weeks go by after seeing a different dentist since I don't trust them anymore. To inform them that the tooth they shaves and put on a crown on, had an exposed nerve and it was touching the crown and there was a gap that was not bonded from the tooth to the crown. The other dentist told me to inform them since they made the mistake to have them fix it. My insurance would not cover anything new to that tooth because they already worked"fixed it". Do you want to know what they told me? There is nothing I can do for you, you would have to go to a root canal place to have it fixed. Because they don't do root canals. My insurance will not cover that tooth anymore because they already worked on it. They made the mistake they need to fix it. I'm furious. I had to get it removed now because of the damages they have caused to my tooth. Please take my advise and do not go here. They will not listen to you or give you the help you need. Go elsewhere!
