My husband received a job offer in Austin, TX, which forced us to relocate and for me to give up my position with one of the greatest dentist and families ever! Many of the reviews you read on here are about his dental work, office staff and atmosphere he provides for his patients, BY HIS PATIENTS! I am here to write about the experience he provides for his TEAM. Because you can read the over 140+ Google Reviews about his practice to know you have made the right decision by choosing Dr. Perry as your dentist. I want to tell you what happens behind the scenes. Dr. Perry, his wife (Cara) and daughter (Brynn), bring HEART to the practice. They are generous, fun, and a genuinely caring family that put their practice, staff, and patients first. By doing so, the staff you are greeted with are a reflection and extension of them. We are all human and all have unique personalities, just like any group would, but there is something about working for (and being a patient of) Dr. Perry's team that makes you feel you are part of something special. They make you feel like FAMILY!!! Maybe it's the combination of his love for his family, the Texas Rangers, TCU, and gardening. Maybe it's his background of growing up in Christian schools, singing with the Texas Boys Choir, traveling the world as a child or simply pride in his work that makes him who he is, but whatever it is it's rare! Moving to Austin, I was sad to leave a practice that set a very high bar for all other practices. A bar so high, I haven't been able to plant roots in a practice here yet, even though the offers have been numerous. I miss working with The Perrys and his team, my dental family. So much so, I committed 6 months ago to working 3 more weeks with them this August while his new Full Time Hygienist is on vacation in Australia. I had an emergency visit for my first visit from an old silver crown spot and fractured tooth. Kylie did an awesome job cleaning my teeth and then Dr Perry explained work I needed. The following week I went in and I swear it was the best experience for what I was having done. Samantha was assisting Dr Perry and she even got me an ice pack for my jaw when I said it was hurting some. Super impressed with the whole staff. Very friendly and understanding.

They also have the latest technology and are able to make crowns onsite which means you can get it done all in a few hours. Be very cautious - all about money, not the patient…read more I visited Mason Dental for a new patient exam after calling ahead and confirming that my insurance will most likely be covered. I was told that insurance would be verified and that they would submit everything for a coverage estimate prior to treatment. After my exam and X-rays, I was informed that I had periodontal disease and would need scaling and root planing. I was also told I had approximately nine cavities and was strongly encouraged to proceed with laser treatment that was not covered by insurance. At no point did I feel I was given clear, conservative options or a breakdown of urgency versus elective procedures. The initial visit resulted in a $200 charge, and I was quoted approximately $800 for the recommended deep cleaning. Because the diagnosis felt significant, I sought a second opinion as I've never had periodontal issues and receive regular cleanings (I worked in the dental industry for years). At another dental office, I was told that I do not have periodontal disease and do not need scaling and root planning cleanings. Their review of my X-rays showed no signs supporting that diagnosis, aside from two isolated pockets near areas where my wisdom teeth had previously been extracted. Then was informed I have two areas on my molars that needed very small fillings on the occlusal areas. They were shocked my Mason Dentals treatment plan! Based on this second opinion, I'm concerned about the difference in diagnoses and the treatment plan I was given. I would recommend getting a second opinion before proceeding with Mason Dental.

I was skeptical going to the Grapevine Dentist, since I thought I already had the best in Uptown. However, I was so relieved when I walked in my new dentist. I saw lots of smiling faces greeting me on my 1st day. From Rian helping me schedule the appointment to Henry as my dental hygienist, and alas Dr Alex Lee, I can't imagine going anywhere else. This modern office with new equipment, clean bathrooms and staff who always have a smile is exactly what I needed. I even went back two days later to get a few old silver fillings replaced. Dr Lee is all about saving the teeth I have, replacing the old fillings that were cracked instead of costly crowns. And my bite is perfect! Bravo Dr Lee and team! Can't wait for my next cleaning!

My mom, who is in her 70's had a different dentist for years, who recently retired and sold his practice to a younger dentist. My mom was assured by the new dentist nothing would change and the staff did stay the same. However on her visit to the new dentist, my mother was told that her teeth were in utter shambles and she would need thousands of dollars worth of work to get her teeth back to "where they need to be." You can understand my mom's concerns since she had been going regularly to the same clinic for years. So in tears, my mom called me and asked me for my opinion. With that, I immediately made an appointment for my mom with Dr. Daaboul for a second opinion. I explained the situation and he took the time to listen to our concerns. On the day of the appointment, my mom was met by smiling faces. Dr Daaboul did a thorough evaluation of my mother's teeth with full X-Rays and everything. He concluded that my mom just needed regular cleanings and that there was absolutely no need to have the procedures that the other dentist was so adamant about. The relief in my mom's eyes were noticeable by everyone there. When it was time to check out, we were informed that there was no charge for the second opinion. My mom walked outside and just started to cry. Tears of relief and joy. Needless to say she will never go to another dentist again.
