I went to Dr. Crumpton while I was in the middle of an implant procedure that was being performed out of state by another dentist. I had been fitted with a temporary "flipper" for four months while the bone healed, but it had become uncomfortable to eat with, so as I was in Texas, I made an appointment with Dr. Crumpton to have it adjusted. On the way there, I took a phone call, the flipper became loose so I set it on my car dashboard, and--disaster!--it took a joy ride down into the air vent, never to be seen again without dismantling the whole dashboard of my car. Dr. Crumpton's staff were wonderfully kind and patient, his dental assistant even coming outside to help me look for it. Even though this implant procedure was not being done by them, Dr. Crumpton immediately stepped in to help. Knowing I was leaving for London the following week and couldn't possibly go with a front tooth missing, he arranged to get me fitted the very next day, at a very reasonable price, and without ever making me feel foolish for what had happened. Thanks to their professionalism, kindness, and generosity, my new temporary tooth will be ready next week--just in time for my flight. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Crumpton and his team--they are not only highly professional but also compassionate and caring and did not try to gauge me on the price. read more

Dr. Crumpton is such an awesome guy and a fabulous dentist! He is absolutely entertaining and very meticulous in his dentistry. He treats all of his patients like they are good friend he has known for years! He and his staff really care about the patient and their families. Has taken good care of my wife, kids, friends and none of them have ever complain about his services. We recently moved to Trophy Club and we were looking for a dentist in the area. We were referred to Dr. Crumpton's office. My husband and two children went to him at the same time. Very disappointed in Dr. Crumpton's work and the office staff. The feeling I got after leaving the office was they wanted to get as much money from you as they could all at one time. About a year prior to going to Dr. Crumpton's office, our daughter went to the dentist and had no cavities, but after her visit with Dr. Crumpton she was diagnosed with 9 cavities. We didn't question it so we went ahead and had 5 out of the 9 done in one day. Originally they insisted to do all 9 in an hour and a half and I refused letting them know this is too many cavities to fill in one sitting. The front office got very agitated and kept trying to push to do all the fillings in one day. Well, I am really glad I didn't allow Dr. Crumpton to fill all her cavities at once because she is having problems with several of the teeth he filled. I wouldn't have thought anything of this because I understand this can happen, but we also brought our son there too. Our son also was diagnosed with a lot of cavities, they wanted to do all of them in one sitting, I didn't allow them to fill all the cavities, they got agitated, and he is having problems with several of the teeth Dr. Crumpton filled. It gets better, my husband went there too. Luckily he was only diagnosed with one cavity but they said he needed deep cleaning. During the same visit as his deep cleaning, Dr. Crumpton filled the one cavity - well, the one tooth Dr. Crumpton filled for my husband, is now very sensitive and he is unable to bite down on anything with that tooth, and after going back to Dr. Crumpton to have him fix the tooth it is still not fixed. (Dr. Crumpton wasn't there so an assistant stated the tooth wasn't filed down enough and she tried filing it down and smoothing the tooth.) Well, $4,000 later and we still need someone to fix our daughter's, son's and my husband's teeth which are causing them problems. When I questioned some of the billing, the billing person got rude and under her breath but purposely loud enough for me to hear let her colleagues know what I was questioning. I asked if she could e-mail me the itemized bill for each person and she rudely said yes. I never got the itemized bills, so I went in and asked the receptionist for the billing and the billing person printed them out and handed to me without looking at me or acknowledging me. This is too bad, from the appearance of the office when we walked in we expected soo much more. read more

Dr. Crumpton gave me the confidence to move forward with a full-mouth reconstruction that included porcelain veneers, crowns and more. He explained that I didn't need to have my jaw broken. He was extremely skilled, caring and careful. The outcome is better than I had imagined. "My new smile not only looks and feels fantastic, but makes me look 10 years younger. While everyone in the office is very nice, I was extremely disappointed in how money driven they are. After only having ONE cavity my entire life, attending regular cleaning every six months, and having no cavities my last dentist trip (at Trophy Dental), they try to tell me that I now, all of a sudden, have TEN. Very skeptical, I decided to have a second opinion and took my x-rays to another dentist only to be told that I have ONE, very tiny, cavity and a few "watch spots" that are capable of being reversed with hyper hygiene. I wish Crumpton would have given me that sound advice rather than trying to take nearly $3,000 out of my pocket. David Crumpton DDS wanted to charge me nearly $300 out of pocket PER CAVITY fill where as the second opinion dentist I went to is charging under $80. Went to this office. And first of all....They LIED to me on the phone that they are IN-NETWORK with my dental Ins.( I guess desperate for new clients!!) The doctor was RUDE and very sacastic!!. They kept pushing for me to stay and do treatment. Also the girls were solely driven to SELL SELL SELL!!! Electric brushes, Rinse, $25 for toothpaste! REALLY!!! Very FAke feeling. Then I get a bill from them. And I tried to explain that they TOLD me they were in-network. You think they honored what they said NOOOOOO!!! My first visit was very impressive. The entire staff is helpful, courteous and tolerant! I have a huge fear of dentists, needles, etc., etc. These folks were extremely patient while taking xrays and very thorough in the exam/consultation. I would highly recommend! read more
