They blocked off one of the doors, so there was only one door to get in and to get out. There were two associates standing there greeting everyone going in and thanking everyone on the way out. I was browsing throughout the store and two sales people approached me asking if I needed help, one when I was looking at the bags and the other when I was looking at the sunglasses. They also explained the discounts to me. I like that they also had an array of rainbow colored bags. read more

Great experience shopping here! We were greeted by a friendly staff associate at the door and told about the new inventory that just came out. Everything was very neat, organized and well stocked. After finding one item another sales associate suggested something similar in style which was very helpful. I appreciate the associates all helping and offering suggestions to find that perfect bag. And the discounts shopping at the outlet really helped the pocketbook. Will definitely return in the future. read more

Name brand goods at discounted prices! My two sisters have Michael Kors purses. They purchased them at Ross, so I know that they got a good deal. The only thing with Ross is that it's hit and miss. When they sell out, that's the end. Here, at the Michael Kors outlet in Waikele (Waipahu, Oahu), there's lots of variety at lower prices! Today, the young lady at the door greeted every customer warmly and handed out a coupon for an additional 20 percent off! How nice! There were wallets, umbrellas, clothing, luggage, shoes, watches, and of course, purses! I was so tempted! Haha! Another salesperson on the floor was also very friendly and helpful! I had to leave quickly before I bought something! I know where to get great gifts now! I'll be back for the cool air conditioning, free parking, and good service! read more

I came to Michael Kors with the intention to purchase a wallet of a specific color. Upon walking it, it appeared that the staff were bringing out new merchandise, changing up the sales floor to accommodate the new merch. I was greeted immediately upon walking in. I was asked by multiple team members if I need any assistance. They even introduced themselves to me and I to them. As I proceeded to the back do the store by the men's department, I was warmly greeted by Manager Trevor. Loved how he took the time to get to know me and what I'm looking for. Enjoyed our conversation and laughter. Trevor, along with the other manager, Ari, helped me pick out pieces from for me and my husband. They fully took care of me. I walked out with more than what i should have, but it was all worth it. Stellar service from Trevor and his team. read more

I loved the service I recently received from MK, with one individual in particular. Her name is Mona. It was Black Friday. News cameras were filming the droves of sales-hungry customers standing in line, trying to get peeks through the display windows. I was NEVER a handbag girl. I'd buy a bag from Jeans Warehouse for $20 bucks or my fave clothing store Bebe, whenever I needed a good travel bag. But it was time to have a serious handbag that would last long and fulfill its purpose. The only question was which brand, and for what budget. A couple other ladies were helpful, asking if I'm finding everything okay, or if I needed a shopping bag. Others were scrambling around, understandably so being the busiest shopping day of the year. I was going back and forth on a few styles and wavered on hopping across the mall to check out the competitors. Mona saw my mental struggle... She has been working at MK for years. You can tell because she was confident in product knowledge, but not pushy. Her smile was genuine, her questions meaningful. I always start the conversation with, "Thank you for working today," and a smile. It seems to throw sales reps off, but in a good way. Because we all, at some point in our jobs, need a reminder that we are appreciated. And to no surprise, it breaks the ice of feeling like a minion in the machine. After some small talk, we narrowed the styles down to the Hamilton. Mona not only described the features of the bag, but also offered to grab a brand new, untouched one from the back. A couple minutes later, she came out with a tissue-wrapped new bag for me to examine. I noticed a small, blue mark on the snow-white straps, and without hesitation, Mona apologized and grabbed another one. The leather was immaculate and clean. This was the one. It was never about making the sale, but suiting to my needs as a customer. Despite the 360 mayhem around her, she made me feel like we were the only ones in the store. Top-notch professionalism. I also grabbed a black Jet Set Smartphone wristlet to boot. Saved a ton of money and made my FIRST experience a great one. Will most definitely return. Thank you Mona and the MK staff! read more

I love how they're always on sale in this store but I'm just very disappointed on what happened the other day I went there. After about 30 mins of looking around I finally got the bag that I wanted. I asked Lyn(one of their staff) if I could get a new one because the bag that was on displayed has a scratch on it. She said of course and she'll be back. When I got the new one, I got in line to checkout. Lyn then went to the counter to help me as she was holding the bag that was damaged. After my card went through , while she was wrapping my bag I saw her wrap the damaged bag instead of the new one that I asked for. I didn't want to cause a scene at the time so I just went back home and decided to return it some other day read more

Michael Kors - Outlet Stores Near Me - Waipahu, Hawaii

Located at the Waikele Premium outlet, ample parking available but during weekends and holidays the parking does fill up. Michael Kors is located next to VERA Bradley outlet on the corner, a pretty spacious clean store, most times you are greeted by a sales staff. And most sales staff is nice and helpful. Watch for the sales at this store because they do have great sales. They do bring in new merchandise all the time too. You can find great deals on almost everything! The bad. If you ever want to return something, you will need a gift receipt or receipt. No receipt, they will not allow you to return, not even for a store credit! Beware. read more

I heart this store, I mean I really HEART this store. Unlike some Yelpers, I've never had a bad experience here with customer service. The staff here has always been friendly and helpful. I always say your experience starts the moment you walk into any establishment and how you are greeted. Every time I've been here, I've always been greeted warmly. I received a gift certificate some time ago and have visited the store on several occasions looking for something that I just couldn't possibly live without. On those occasions I didn't find anything, the staff was still courteous and accommodating. I didn't feel like they were pushing me to buy something. Since I really didn't know what I wanted, I would just browse and the staff would assist me. They didn't stalk me. I've walked out many times without finding anything even after the staff spent some time with me. On my most recent visit. I was looking for a white handbag since my mom swiped mine. I was assisted by Victoria and Trevor. They asked me my likes and dislikes, what type I was looking for etc. They pulled a couple of bags but I wasn't feeling it. There was one that I liked but Victoria asked me if I liked it or loved it. Told her I liked it. Her advice was I get something I love not like. Good point. Her advice was to wait until I found something I loved. Trevor then pulled a vanilla handbag that made my heart flutter. I tried it on and I knew this was the one. It was perfect. The best part - it was on sale! Score! Well actually since it's the outlet, everything is going to be a lot cheaper than the store in Ala Moana. Ala Moana sends their merchandise here so if you see something at Ala Moana, wait till it hits the outlet. Ok, now y'all probably figured out I have a handbag addiction. Guys, girls can never have too many handbags, it's called accessorizing. If you want some brownie points with your significant other, I suggest buying a certificate from here. The quality of their handbags are top notch plus it's fashion icon Michael Kors! Don't think you can't afford it, there's always some type of sale going on, on top of already discounted prices. In addition to handbags, they have wallets, clothes and accessories. The hottest fashion trend right now is MK watches. So guys.....brownie points...I'm hoping to get one for Christmas... Like I mentioned they also sell clothing and sometimes it's on sale. The clothing is well tailored, fashionable and chic. I bought 3 dresses for just under $100. Ok, I'll stop gushing about their products. The store is newly renovated and it looks more like an upscale store but don't let this put you off. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly and helpful. They're always bringing in new merchandise that's transitioning into the new season. One word of advice though, if you see a bag you love, don't wait cuz it might not be there when you realize you can't live without it. I made that mistake and now they don't have it. A few months ago, one of my besties from Michigan called the store and spoke with Catalina and ordered me a gift certificate over the phone. Imagine my surprise when Catalina called and told me I had a gift waiting for me. I was on the Mainland so she said she'd keep it there until I got back. I so heart this store, great friendly staff and awesome items, well it's is Michael Kors, nuff said. I'd like to give a special shout out to Victoria, Trevor and Catalina. They went beyond helping me and made my shopping experience such a pleasant one. I'll def keep going back here. MK I heart you! read more

This store is located in the Waikele Premium Outlets Outdoor Mall upper section with Off Saks Fifth between Armani Exchange and 2b bebe. I've been to this store multiple times mainly buying gifts for others. I love high end fashion, but was never a big fan of Michael Kors. In fact, when I first saw my friend sporting her new leather "MK" handbag flashy hand bag, what first came to my mind was if "Mary Kate" Olsen was now marketing towards to an older crowd other than the little girl clothing they often sold at the Walmart stores. Ha! Anyway, since my clothing and wallet purchases were never for myself, I always walked in with a price range in mind to spend on each person and many times I found a cute item that fell within my price range, and would just get it. I have gotten deals on their simple sparkly tops sporting their brand name as well as a few cute fashionable flowy tops and wallets. I don't know what their normal prices are, and there seemed to be a reasonable discount on their original price tags, which was good enough for me. read more

I debated whether I should give a review of this new located store long and hard. But customers should know how I felt while browsing the merchandise. My bf and I were greeted with a warm welcome by one of the female employees and asked if we needed help. I just wanted to look around and see what kind of sales they had. As I kept looking and browsing the shelves and tables, the same female employee kept asking if I needed any assistance or had questions. I kindly said no. When we went to back of the store to check the 60% off bags, the same female worker came up to us asking if we need help or have questions. "Ok lady, this is becoming very irritating while looking around the sales. You are becoming a pain in the butt. Please stop asking me the same questions and let me shop in peace. Goodness sake". Even when I was deciding on buying a certain handbag, she kept bugging me. In the end, I decided not to buy the bag nor give my money to this business. I don't want to buy something from a store who has passive aggressive workers. I wished employees learn not to be so aggressive with customers who are looking or shopping in the store. Shopping should be a enjoyable experience, not a battlefield trying to avoid the same annoying store employee who wants to ring you up. One or two times is ok, but to be bothered the entire time in the store is not cool. For future customers, watch out for those female store employees who will ask if you need assistance or got questions. They going to try to reel you in and keep pestering you until you purchase something or walk out like how I did on Saturday. Beware!!!!! read more

What an amazing experience today was. As I walked in to Michael Kors, I was greeted with a smile and handed the promotional additional 20% slip. I knew exactly what I wanted because I was there the yesterday. I walked to the rack that held the beautiful classy slim backpack I had seen the day before.. right away Lyn came over with a cheerful smile and wiliness to answer any questions I had. She calculated the savings for me and She even brought me a fresh bag from the back, I absolutely love that!! She saw that I found a wallet and again brought me a fresh one from the back. I felt so blessed to have had her as my sales associate today. She is definitely an asset to Michael Kors Waipahu. read more

Blessing in disguise! My boyfriend tried to buy me a wallet online but they emailed him saying it went out of stock.. I had already seen what I guess he tried to get me (fail) lol. But He surprised me today by going into Waikele thinking we were getting him sunglasses. I was stunned when we walked into the store.. When we walked in, we we're greeted by not just one person. The employees here are really helpful & nice! I like that wherever you are in the store they always are around to answer any questions. We were looking for a wallet to match my first MK bag I was given. Black/Gold but I came across one of their bags in Clearance from their Grayson collection! My boyfriend said I could get it and when I saw bag that was 40% off I was approached by an employee named Jem! She asked if I was already assisted and if I had any questions. The bag that I was already holding from the Clearance section she offered to get me a new one from the back which I really liked since I'd know for sure there wouldn't be any scratches on the bag. She was really sweet & I will for sure return for future purchases. I didn't feel intimidated like I usually do when in high end stores. I don't know if anyone feels like that in other places. updating my review because I came back to this same location expecting the same service I got the last few times I stopped in here.. First off I want to start off by telling my story about my 2 watches that I had gotten for Christmas this year, I received 2 Michael Kors watches from family members. I wore them both about 3-4 times before they started to fall apart. watch #1- Had rhinestones all around the face and on the links, and the inside of the face is marked with roman numerals along with the logo. This watch broke when I noticed that the #6 roman numeral came lose and was floating around in the face of the watch which caused the hands of the watch to eventually stop ticking!!!! Watch #2- This watch is similar to the first, but this one has black rhinestones around the face and inside the face. The problem with this one is that the glass plate on the face of the watch keeps popping off of the watch, exposing the inside of the watch. I still had the glass pieced to prove that i didn't shatter it because I know if I had brought the watch without the glass they would have told me that I probably shattered the glass piece by hitting it or something. DELEMA- My problem with this store is that when i brought my watches in to get checked out and see what I could do they basically told me theirs nothing they can do to fix my watches because I didn't have the original receipts and I had explained to them that they both were gifts and I was not given a receipt because my family knows I would love the watches and not need to return them... so I asked what my other options were and she basically told me to bring it to Macys and maybe they could fix it for me which is total BULLSHIT because then I have to pay someone else to fix a crappy made watch that their store sold me in the first place! MORAL OF THE STORY- DO NOT BUY MK watches. they are cheaply made and they are not built to last! The only MK watches I will ever buy will be from Macy's where they guarantee that if your watch does not work because of manufacture defects they will replace it or fix it free of charge! Other than that the MK store here gives good service, but not when it comes to their products defects, They DO NOT stand behind their brand, when it comes to something being wrong they will blame everyone/everything but the company itself. read more

Loved shopping at Michael Kors in Waikele.....lots of beautiful handbags priced right....but more important is the great customer service. The young ladies are really nice, greeting every customer that enters with a smile and a friendly hello. They are helpful without hovering. I think my salesperson's name was Roxanne...she's really sweet and made lots of nice suggestions. In addition, Kelsey (sorry if that's not how you spell your name was very professional and courteous when I had a merchandise issue...she politely resolved it to my satisfaction. I've visited this place numerous times, and each time the service seems to get worse and worse. This store was never known for their outstanding customer service, but today was horrible. I walked into the store, and the woman at the front; who's job I assume it was to welcome customers, looked at us and looked away. She did not greet me, or smile at all. I was already turned off at that point, but continued to browse. My entire time there, no one stopped to ask me how I was doing or if I needed any assistance. Mind you, it was not busy whatsoever and I saw many employees either talking to one another or just mindlessly wondering. This is a sorry excuse for a high-end outlet. I don't see myself coming back. read more

Terrible customer service! My boyfriend and I walked in today (11/16/13) and four girls upfront just stared us down without a greet. They were eyeing out my Louis Vuitton bag, yes hunny girls it is real. I don't do fake and replicas. Anywho we were browsing around trying to find the perfect bag for my mom. (Not that she or I need anymore handbags but more is always nice) ;) Two sales girls suddenly asked if we were doing okay only because they ran into us while trying to help someone else. Everyone was helping Japanese tourists and other people who seemed to be much more dressed up than we were. Well we weren't going anywhere fancy so no need to dress up, we were casual dressed but weren't dirty looking. Others were helped a lot given great service but only about 2 out of 6 actually purchased. Stumbled upon a beautiful purple Hamilton bag. It's like you know it's the one when all other bags suddenly become "ugly" or "not up to par". The one on the shelf had lots of scuff marks and stuff so we wanted to see if they had a brand new one in the back as they usually would. A lot of girls were standing around and saw that we needed help but just looked and ignored us. We were right next to the cash register and there was 4-5 girls behind there wrapping and standing around, they too looked and made eye contact but never asked if we needed assistance. Finally, after looking around for someone decent to flag down that doesn't seem so stuck up and snobby, Vanessa approached us with a friendly smile and came to help right away. She was patient and really nice making small conversations with us. We got in line to be rung up. The cashier, Janine was okay. Her tone of voice wasn't quite friendly and we felt kind of rushed. I asked if they had a box but she replied "no we don't but we have nice bags for it" sarcastically. The transaction was done and she said she would wrap it nicely for us. Well two seconds later she handed it to us and the bag we bought barely fit the shopping bag and she threw on one piece of tissue paper on it. Funny how everyone else that purchased got theirs wrapped so nice and tightly with extra tissue for a gift while we got crap. We left and all the girls in front that never greeted us thanked us for shopping there. So fake! I just spent enough in there that probably covered for almost 2 girls pay checks. Nonetheless we come in probably once a year when we're at Waikele because we love Michael Kors! We did notice a hiring sign. That's good maybe they can hire actual real nice employees with great attitudes and wonderful smiles that will get them more loyal customers than they have now. One star because Vanessa was the only nice one out of probably 15 workers on the floor. read more

So this poncho that I wanted apparently cannot be found ANYWHERE else. I checked, EVERYWHERE. I went back today with the mindset that I was shopping at like a grocery store with self check out. I didn't receive good service, I experienced EXCEPTIONAL service today. Greeted at the door, was checking out the ponchos when I was approached by a very nice young woman (I should've gotten her name, fail on my part) who assisted me with my disagreement with my husband regarding what color I should get. He says I always look like I'm going to a funeral. I digress. This wonderfully attentive associate was polite during our brief banter and actually walked me to the counter to make sure I was assisted right away. There was no line and I was assisted immediately. (But let's recall my last review & my gripe was because no one else was in line and I stood there for a couple minutes with an available associate and no acknowledgement). Did I tell the associate about my last experience? Absolutely not. I wasn't going to waste my breath or this woman's time. And in sparing her my grumbling, I got the service I had expected the first time around. Glad I gave this place a second chance. read more

After reading some of the reviews below, I don't feel too bad about this review. I walked into Micheal Kors in Waikele about a week and a half ago and was greatly discouraged by the overall customer service. I noted at least 7-8 female sales staff, all who looked ready for the fashion runway, but obviously not equipped with the customer service knowledge and personality necessary in a sales environment. I walked in, and basically the workers were standing around talking to one another and NOT one acknowledge my or others' presence. Very disappointed, I walked around the entire store and was not greeted or asked if I needed any help. I walked out making a mental note not to go back there. I'd rather spend the extra money at the Micheal Kors store in Ala Moana, Nordstrom, or Macy's rather than feel like I was intruding on the workers' socializing time with one another. read more

I really wanted to get the rose gold colored purse but man, those associates STALK YOU! I understand that people work on commission and I don't mind letting the cashier know who helped me but seriously, when I ask you not to follow me around, please don't follow me around! I went in on Labor day with my husband and son because my husband majorly screwed up and he wanted to make it up to me. Aren't those the best when you have your man by ....? haha just kidding Lary! Anyway, he said he wanted to get me the bag because I really wanted it and he thought it would look nice; he was correct on both counts. We walked in and were immediately approached by a sales person. I purposely dressed down so that they wouldn't stalk me but they still did! Ugh. I was trying to look and see what I wanted but that lady wouldn't let up. I told her that I would come back and see her when I was ready to check out but she still was all crazy. I don't mind giving credit where credit is due but I also don't want to be followed. Location: Located in Waikele Outlets Service: I've been here quite a few times and the whomever helped me was always helpful and courteous. Goods: They are pretty decent priced for being an outlet store. You can tell which is an outlet good and which came from the actual MK store. Since MK is the "IN" brand right now, if you decide to go shopping on black Friday be prepared to wait in line. Even if there is no line outside it is really crowded and claustrophobic inside. I've only ever been to the Michael Kors in Ala Moana, and the workers their are very nice. However, after reading mixed reviews for this outlet location, I didn't really get my hopes up. I knew the bag I wanted wouldn't be at this location yet because it was still on their online site and their shop in Ala Moana, but I went in hopes I'd find another, more affordable one. I walked in and all the workers greeted me with a hello! As I began to look around the shop, I saw a few bags that I was interested in. I believe the sales associates name was either Christy, or Christine, or maybe Kristen? I'm not too sure, but she was very nice and helpful and suggested a few bags that I might like. Alas, I finally came to my senses and realized I should just get the bag my heart was set on, the one that sadly this location does not carry yet. We've been to several Michael Kors outlet stores but this one stood out because of the exemplary customer service by Anna Lisa (Lisa). She assisted us in every way she could, helpfully explaining the details and function of one bag from the other, and we did not feel rushed. She also took the effort of looking for new stock of bags and accessories and pointed out details that we wouldn't have noticed (such as buckles that would help in wearing a bag in different ways), also calculating patiently how much it would cost and how we could maximize the store discount... all of which helped us make our decision with our purchases. The worst service I've had here and been shopping here for years. Walked in an was greeted and given a coupon, the lady was pleasant. One star for that. I walked around looking for something and when I found it I couldn't reach the top of the shelf. Finally someone walked out of the back room and assisted me with getting the item down. Later I walk around and decided to buy this item. I looked around for help to get a new one in the back of available and when I finally found a male sales person who was putting up purses, he was so sassy and told me there wasn't any more in the back and gave me a snob look and walked away. WOW! I want to slap him! Anyway, another male later asked me if I needed help when I continued to look around. I honestly should have just walked out but I knew my sis wanted this specific bag for Christmas so I had to suck it up. Anyway, the guy who helped me the second time was really friendly and nice. A second star for this store for that. I get to register and the girl who helped me also gave me attitude. After paying and being handed my purchase she didn't even say Thank you! WTF?! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! i love michael kors products. unfortunately this is the only outlet store on the island so i guess ill be back by default. let me tell u of my not so delightful experience. i went here after work around 6 to buy a mothers day present for my mother-in-law. i was greeted by 2 girls at the door who were deeply engaged in conversation. there was another by a mirror who appeared to admire herself way too much. another 2 by the watch display who were discussing what they wanted to eat. 3 more behind the cash register. talk about over staffed. so i asked one of the associates if i could look at a watch. she looked at me then turned around to the 2 girls who were discussing dinner options and says, "can u open that for her. Im going to grab food." i thought to myself...fair enough. it is dinner time. so one of the associates opens the watch case and leaves it wide open while she turns her back to me and continues on about pancit. someone of less moral character would've snatched some 200 dollar watches!! but i guess pancit is more important than protecting store merchandise. afterall, it was around dinner time. so NO ONE was helping me with my watch selection. i put my hands in and out of the open watch display trying on multiple watches putting them back. shortly thereafter the associate who instructed another to help me came back with a garlic chicken plate. the pancit enthused associate was now distracted by the smell of garlic chicken. i stood there looking at the associate with her garlic chicken and the now garlic chicken enthused associate converse about where she got dinner from and how excited she is to eat it. i know im not a food item but could someone help me?? so frustrating!! i left without buying anything. its unfortunate that this is the ONLY michael kors outlet store. the managers NEED to hire quality employees that match their quality products. read more
