(Our Fault for not checking IG) But!! We made it back the next week! And if you are looking for unique gifts or pieces that you will cherish for as long as you have them, then you will love this boutique. I myself as a male even found some wonderful Tobacco + Musk perfume that has me placing my Chanel Blue back in the cabinet. I was also in the market for a new tea cup and even found that here. They have a second bigger location in Decatur near Brickstore Pub and the Marta Station. That location has more items and clothing but both are worth a visit. I honestly feel like I walk into someones open loft when I visit this location. Enjoyed the shopping experience and they have made a retail friend from us. I bought a purse by accident. I was scrolling down to write a question in the comments. I wanted to…read moresee a picture of what the purse would look like with the upgraded zipper added. The order was placed unintentionally. I immediately sent an email asking for the order to not go through, that it was an error. I then received an order confirmation and an e-mail explaining they don't respond to emails on weekends and that production would start right away. I tried again to communicate with them via e-mail the next business day and received another e-mail with the same message that didn't apply to my issue. I never heard back from them. The purse arrived. I'm not happy with the zipper addition for 2 reasons. 1) It is so far down in the top of the purse that it makes the capacity much shallower. 2) The zipper is not attached at either end so you have to keep putting it together like the bottom of a jacket each time. This is a terrible design. So inconvenient and hard with the thickness of the leather. I gave the 2 stars because the leather is beautiful! Very happy with the quality of the leather. The zipper needs improvement in the design. I couldn't find a phone number anywhere to communicate with Go Forth Goods and the e-mail didn't work. I am stuck with the purse and am so unimpressed with their customer service. This has been a very frustrating experienc. I do a lot of online shopping. I've never had such poor communications with a business. The order was placed November 1 so it's not like they were in the thick of the holidays yet. They could have communicated with me to make sure I ended up with a product I would be happy with - if they cared.

In one of the converted houses-to-businesses on Shadowlawn, Backstreet Boutique is run by a little, very Southern lady named Joey (and often, her sweet little canine companion). Joey is polite and accomodating and sharp and funny. She's accepted a vast majority of the pieces we've brought her. Unlike other shops, Backstreet stocks all seasons all year, Joey knowing that if an item is great enough, it'll sell eventually. She's always up for chit-chat, and she personally assists every customer who walks through the door. But better than all that, better than the cute little shop with the awesome collection, is that Joey knows her regulars and knows them well. The Boyfriend's mother wore a size 4.5 shoe (if she wore a 9.5, I would have myself a new collection of Manolos, but c'est la vie.) We've brought Joey probably nearly 30 pairs of super cute, barely-worn designer shoes that could fit your average 10 year-old, expecting that many of them wouldn't sell. But Joey called up the customers she knew with tiny feet, and lo and behold, the shoes began to move (pun intended). The recession has us all tightening our belts, but if you still have a weird, insatiable craving for Prada boots, go let Joey hook you up. Beth (the owner) is one of the most kind, loving, professional people I have ever met. She carries the latest high end fashions at the most reasonable prices you could ever ask for.
