We went with the belief that the cough will get better after taking allergy pill for a few weeks and didn't know better about getting a second opinion. Lesson learned.

They book a "meet and greet" session for new patients. I asked them 4-5 times before the appointment, how much it will cost after giving all my insurance info. All of their team assured me that it will be 0$ co-pay for me as it is only a meet and greet where Dr. will just get to know you. Guess what, they billed my insurance 700$ after the appointment, out of which they are asking me to pay 300$. This is a scam. And the Dr. did nothing in this appointment, no advice/tests nothing, other than me sharing about my medical history and past test results and my concerns. I got to know that there are California laws against this, I will be filing a legal complaint Update: I called their billing office as Dr suggested in his response and told them I'd report them to the medical board. They said they will file the claim with insurance with a different code to see if they can bring the cost lower. You know what they did instead? They sent the bill to collections immediately. No warning, no attempt to resolve, no accountability. Just pure, disgusting greed and lies in every interaction. This place runs on lies, shady billing tactics, and a complete lack of ethics. And if you dare to speak up, they'll come after you. Because that is their business to suck up on your hard earned money $325 isn't going to ruin me -- but this kind of disgusting thug behavior is what unfortunately defames entire healthcare. Called O.M. after joining and made appointment for today, Monday, Dec. 8. On Friday, Dec. 5 late afternoon, just ONE business day before the appt., I get a call from O.M. telling me Dr. Fell's office cancelled my appt. because they do not accept new patients anymore. 1. Why was appt. available and booked if Dr. Fell does not accept new patients anymore? 2. Why notify me end of day on Friday, one business day before the actual appt? 3. Why not having the decency/courtesy to call me directly to let me know? Perhaps Dr. Fell is indeed a good doctor (I did not get a chance to experience), however, given the way HIS office/people handled this matter, makes him a terrible leader. And as we all know, the buck stops with the boss. Disappointing, to say the least.

I actually chose a couple of doctors before but ended up canceling both times. Finally, after more searching, I found Dr. Kristina Hobson in Los Gatos. To be honest, when I first walked into her office, I was already looking for an excuse to cancel again. But once I spoke with her, I was really impressed with her knowledge and the way she explained everything, so I decided to keep my appointment. Today was my procedure at Silicon Valley Surgery Center, and I had such a great experience. The facility was clean, calm, and very nice. Every single person I interacted with was wonderful. From the front desk to Barbara, who helped review my paperwork everyone was kind and welcoming. My first nurse, Kay, was incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and professional. When she went on break, Nicole took over she was also amazing. I'm not a fan of needles at all, but she did my IV so gently and with so much care. Then Kat, the third nurse, took me to the procedure room she was kind, calm, and very professional. Dr. Michael Block, the anesthesiologist, was excellent. He actually texted me the night before to ask if I wanted to review everything ahead of time or on the day of the procedure, which I really appreciated. We exchanged a few messages, and then he spoke with me again before the procedure and explained everything clearly. He was confident, knowledgeable, and very reassuring. In the procedure room, I fell asleep within seconds and woke up quickly afterward feeling great. Within about 30 minutes, I felt completely fine. I was even able to take calls and respond to emails. And now, about Dr. Hobson ,she is truly a 10 out of 10. Honestly, the entire experience was 10 out of 10. From the office to the surgery center, every single nurse and staff member was exceptional. I'm a very detail-oriented and perfectionist person because of my job, so I don't say this lightly. Something I was so scared of and postponed for 5 years turned into such a smooth and positive experience. Thank you to everyone
