I felt confident in his expertise and trusted him completely with my results. Even throughout the recovery process, knowing that I had such a wonderful team available to support me made a huge difference. Recovery has definitely been more challenging than I expected, but I truly feel that I chose the best possible team to go through it with. I'm very disappointed with my experience at The Doll's Plastic Surgery Practice…read more I paid a total of $6,000 for a procedure that was scheduled to take place in May. I initially paid $250 for my consultation, which was separate from the procedure fee. I then paid $250 to reserve my surgery date, followed by the remaining $5,750 balance. The day before my scheduled surgery, the practice canceled my procedure, telling me that I would be better off having it performed in a hospital setting. I had already received the appropriate medical clearance, including clearance from a cardiologist, and was not given a satisfactory explanation for the last-minute cancellation. Since then, I have been trying to get my money refunded. I was told I needed to complete a refund form, which took several weeks to generate. I signed and returned the form on June 29 and was told I should receive my refund within approximately a month. It has now been two months, and I still have not received my refund. Despite numerous emails, I continue to be told that they are "waiting for the paperwork to go through," without any clear explanation of what that means or when I can actually expect my money. What is particularly frustrating is that I am now being told that I will only receive $5,750 of the $6,000 I paid. The reason given is that the $250 surgery-date deposit is nonrefundable. I find that extremely difficult to understand because I did not cancel my surgery -- the practice canceled it. I paid that $250 specifically to reserve the surgery date, and because the practice canceled the procedure, I should not be penalized by losing the deposit for a date that they themselves canceled. At this point, it is not simply about the $250. It is about the principle, the lack of communication, and the amount of time it has taken to return money that I believe should have been refunded promptly. This review is not intended to criticize Dr. Berman personally, but rather to share my experience with the practice and how my cancellation and refund have been handled. I expected better communication, professionalism, and accountability. I sincerely hope this is resolved and that my full $6,000 is returned, but based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend this practice.

Like most people making a major decision about surgery, I had consultations with multiple surgeons and surgical centers while trying to find the right fit for me. Two of the practices I had been communicating with were Revive and Revitalize, and unfortunately, I confused the two when making a $1,000 deposit payment. I intended to pay Revitalize but mistakenly used the payment link from Revive. I realized my mistake almost immediately and contacted Revive the very next day to explain exactly what had happened and ask if they could reverse the payment. They declined, citing their policy that the $1,000 surgical deposit is nonrefundable. While I can understand having a nonrefundable deposit policy to protect a business when a patient reserves surgery and later changes their mind, this was not a situation where I intentionally booked with them and then simply decided I didn't want the surgery. I made a genuine mistake between two similarly named practices and contacted them the next morning. After they declined the refund, I even offered another solution. I told Revive that I was willing to leave the entire $1,000 with their practice and use it toward other services they offer . I figured this was a reasonable compromise, they wouldn't have to refund the money, I wouldn't lose $1,000, and they potentially gain a long term client who could continue using their services in the future. They declined that as well. They have now told me in writing that the $1,000 cannot be applied toward any other services and that they will not schedule alternative services in lieu of the deposit. I understand policies exist for a reason. What I find incredibly disappointing is the complete lack of flexibility or customer service in the way this was handled. I contacted them the very next day after realizing an honest mistake. I was even willing to spend the entire $1,000 with their business instead of continuing to ask for it back. Instead, they chose to keep the full $1,000 while providing me no surgery, no alternative services and nothing else in return. To me, that's absurd. A little understanding and willingness to find a reasonable solution could have potentially created a lifetime client. Instead, this experience ensured the exact opposite. I'm not telling anyone else what decision to make. I'm simply sharing exactly what happened to me so prospective patients can consider how this practice handled my situation before deciding where to spend their money.

Dr. Kourhi began with almost the impossible, 900 cc. implants inserted by Moffit. I had what is known as a uniboob and vertical scaring. Dr. Kourhi removed the painful implants and transferred fat to make 2 perfectly normal looking breasts. The breasts are amazing and move with my body. They feel and look natural. Other surgeons refused to help me and wanted me to return to the doctor at Moffit that had created a failure. From my first meeting with Dr. Kourhi until my office visit today.. I just can't say how professional and outstanding he and his staff are. If you are in need of a miracle, Dr. Kourhi is gifted, caring, and has healing hands. There is no need to be disfigured or suffer. You are more than welcome to visit his office and review my before and after pictures. Dr. Kouhri's work is simply amazing! D.H.

I was first diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in 2019, and I underwent lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation. After a second cancer diagnosis in 2024 (this time hormonal), I decided to undergo a double mastectomy. I chose to stay flat because implants and flaps were not for me. I had healing issues and developed necrosis in a large area of tissue, which also formed keloid scars And fibrosis. The tissue started to become increasingly stiff, and the doctors I saw in Spain told me that if I did nothing, the problem would worsen over time. This tissue would continue to adhere more and more to my chest bones, and I would lose more and more mobility. I visited many surgeons until I found Dr. Khouri (thank you, internet!). Dr. Khouri was the only one who gave me a non-mutilating option: a full reconstruction using my own fat. I am a slim person, but that hasn't been a problem at all. Dr. Khouri is very experienced in working with all kinds of patients, and his track record in fat transfer surgery is incomparable to that of any other surgeon. He is a pioneer, and for me, that makes all the difference. Since I started treatment with Dr. Khouri a few months ago, I feel that I will be able to put an end to a very complicated phase of my life. It has been 7 years since my first cancer diagnosis; it's a long, very tough process for breast cancer patients, and you rarely come across people who are as deeply involved in improving the quality of life of patients as Dr. Khouri. I can only feel admiration for his work and deep gratitude. His method is unique and should be a viable option for women everywhere in the world. Thank you, Miami Breast Center!
