I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kakos. He stepped in during a very difficult and…read morecomplicated situation to help my dentist remove a two-decade-old implant crown from an implant system that has long been discontinued and is no longer commonly worked on. This was not a simple procedure. The crown and abutment were extremely difficult to remove, and there was uncertainty about what would be found underneath. Dr. Kakos was willing to take on a challenge that many others would not, working carefully and persistently to help preserve my existing implant rather than moving straight to removal. His kindness, confidence, and willingness to help made an incredibly stressful situation much easier to handle. Thanks to his expertise and determination, the implant was saved and I can move forward with the next stage of treatment. I am truly grateful that he was willing to step in when I needed someone with the skill and experience to tackle such an unusual case. Thank you, Dr. Kakos!

I spent about 1+ year at this previous orthodontist in downtown Chicago and never once saw my teeth shift. Brackets would fall off very easily, and I don't have anything too complex going on in my mouth - just an upper tooth that's impacted in my gums and some alignment issues on my bottom. It's been 1 day since having my braces removed and 2 years of a fantastic experience with Dr. Razdolsky and the team. I think that they must be the most efficiently ran dentist/medical office that I've ever been to. The longest I've waited for my appt was 5 minutes. Moving on, he's an exceptional great listener, and if I had even the smallest concerns he would address them immediately. This team really is the best orthodontist practice. I would highly recommend to any and all friends, thus the Yelp review. This Yelp review page, just doesn't do justice, but their HealthGrades review are 280+ reviews strong is voted 5-star!

Instead, I was seen by his daughter. Multiple dentists over the years had raised concerns about the same issue and recommended that I have the retainers evaluated. What bothered me most was how unprofessional the appointment felt. Rather than focusing on my concerns, a significant portion of the visit was spent dismissing concerns that had been raised by multiple dentists and even criticizing one of them personally. As a patient, I found this completely inappropriate. I was not there to hear about disputes between dental professionals--I was there to have my concerns addressed. I was told my retainers looked fine, a small amount of glue was removed, and after paying $250, I left with the exact same issue I came in with. Overall, I left feeling unheard, dismissed, and disappointed by the lack of professionalism. I will not be returning to this office, and neither will I recommend it to anyone I know.

Last time I was there she asked me if I wanted to come on the same day and when I said that wasn't going to work she glared at me. Next thing you know she is slapping the appt card down in front of me and it already has a time on it. She didn't even care if it works for us. I thought maybe she just hated my family. She also didn't bother (nor does she ever) say thank you, good-bye or anything. Even my kids think the front desk people are rude. And apparently him talking to his staff didn't work.
