The staff was so friendly and of course Shadow was his charming self until it came to the exam lol. They were gentle with him and gave him plenty of treats afterwards . His Doctor was friendly and very enthusiastic about Shadow being in such good shape . He has nice teeth , clean ears, clear lungs . Knowing all of this made me relax more. He got a clean bill of health with the exception that he's FIV positive. Shadow is the only cat in our house and he's strictly a indoor cat. Even with that he can and will live a full life . One of the ladies did agree with me that he looks like he's part Russian Blue. In terms of cost the initial exam was free because we adopted him from LHS . I did pay for some additional testing and I think it was a fair price . Shadow does have pet insurance for those just in case moments hopefully they'll be none of those. Shadow will continue to to there for check ups and future shots .

As soon as I got her in my truck I called the office. The person that answered my call said head this way and we will be waiting for you. My Lab had three office visits and on the last visit she needed anesthesia to place a drain to remove internal bleeding on the right side of her abdomen. We told them that we had arrived and were told that 12:30 was the pickup time and that we'd like to take her home. They refused to give her to us and told us we would have to come back at 6 PM and they did not apologize for their error and lack of communication regarding the pick up time! The lady who worked the desk didn't say much when I was there but had the nerve to text me 15 minutes after we left with our dog when I was ignored after 5 phone calls and multiple texts. This place lies about feeding your animal. We did a late drop off and early pick up, so I portioned out 4 meals for our dog and they told me they fed her 6 times. She had enough food left for one more feeding, so they skipped a mealtime and told me they fed her an extra 3 times! With what food?! I also signed a contract that we wanted 3 play times a day and they only provided her with 1 playtime a day for 3 days. This place is not trustworthy and we will NEVER board here again.

This is…read moreprobably one of the worst places for any animal to be -- if I didn't have to return the kitten I got from them to them, due to a clause in their contract, I would have rather her to Lexington Humane Society or give her to someone who could have cats/kittens (unfortunately my apartment turned into a no animals allowed unless it's a service animal). They aren't honest with you about the cats/kittens whether you call the humane society or whether you call petsmart. We adopted a kitten and her whole face got bloated, her eyes were red and watery, swollen, and she was sneezing hardcore. I don't usually own cats so I called and asked them about it, they were completely clueless. "yeah, maybe some dust got in her face and she started sneezing." Puh-lease. I was born at night, but not last night. I googled and used tik tok and found out she had a respiratory infection. So I had to use more money to go help her out because the vet said that she has had it since she was born so it would be a reoccurring thing, but PAWS told me that she was perfectly healthy. I then found out I had to return her because of my apartment no longer being pet friendly, and I could not get grandfathered in even tho I had asked. They were so hard to get ahold of until I finally could and I asked if we could pay cash or card, they said either. I told them I didn't get paid for a couple days after I drop off, is there any extra fees? They told me no, then told my partner once they got there, it was 13 dollars, with the card fee and if "we didn't have it, then we had to take her back." Despicable place. PETSMART should get rid of their partnership or whatever they have with them. And someone should probably go close them down. Never EVER adopt from them or take your animals there.
