We came here with a large group (15 people) on a Sunday and got 2 boats to go wake surfing. We had…read morean absolute AMAZING time! We were all beginners except 1 person in our group but we were all able to get up on the board because we had such an excellent instructor - Rodolfo! He was so friendly, really knows what he is doing, and you can tell he was very passionate about helping us all get up on the board successfully which we all really appreciated! Getting up on the board isn't easy but definitely possible even if you have no experience whatsoever. Rodolfo even managed to coach someone to stand up on the board who couldn't swim! We went at 3:00PM on a Sunday and it was absolutely beautiful. This experience was so worth it and we all can't wait to go back again! Try to get there at least 30 minutes early since the parking lot can look a little chaotic. If you keep driving to the end of the lot there are usually spots open. You can bring backpacks on with some of your own snacks/drinks. Bring a few beach towels - all the ones we brought got used!

I…read morecalled one Saturday (after buying the Groupon deal for 2 up paddleboards) to see if we could reserve for the next day but they were booked and I was told I needed to reserve a week in advance and to call back or reserve online on Monday..ok fine. I can understand that. When the online booking wouldn't let me reserve using my groupon, I called and they told me to proceed with the reservation without entering my groupon code and that they would apply the discount when I came in for the reservation. So I proceeded to book online without the groupon code but when I finally got down to reserving at a time it only gave me one time available (8:59 pm), obviously that is not right. I called back and the owner (who is actually the reviewer below) told me to text him the time I wanted to come in on sunday and he would put it in the system. I texted him the time I wanted to come, with additional information that he didn't even ask for = because I wanted to make sure they didn't screw this up. I included my name, email address that I used to book online, the time and the date that I wanted to come. So finally Sunday comes around and my boyfriedn and I are excited for a day of paddleboarding. We wanted to confirm our reservation so I called at 10am. The conversation went like this: Me: Hi, I had made a reservation on Monday for this afternoon at 1pm but I just wanted to confirm that you had our reservation. Miami Water Sports: If you made the reservation, we have you booked. (click) My boyfriend and I looked at eachother puzzled. Whatever..We decided to go and when we show up, guess what happened. THEY DIDN'T HAVE OUR RESERVATION!! I told them I had called to confirm that morning and they basically called me a liar and said he would let us reserve another day (uh, they better). We had to leave to put money in our meter but told them we would call back to sort things out. When we called back about 10 minutes later, HE TOLD US HE WAS BUSY WITH CUSTOMERS AND COULD NOT TALK TO US...um what??? WE ARE CUSTOMERS!! The only reason this place gets 1 star is because it is located just across the street from SOUTH BEACH KAYAK. We called them after the disaster at Miami Water Sports and they were able to get us 2 stand up paddleboards for 2 hours RIGHT THEN AND THERE! To sum it up: If you are thinking about using MIami Water Sports, DON'T. I will be calling Groupon to get my money back.

My appointment was canceled the day of due to rainy weather, and I found out through a text message. OK, that makes sense. However, I called multiple times to reschedule over the course of week. I am talking at least 10 times, and not once did I get through to anyone on the phone. Instead, they sent a text letting you know they are not available. RUDE. In this day and age where customer service is so important, I have no idea how people like this exist. Do not waste your time buying this Groupon.

I was down in Miami Beach celebrating my 50th birthday and wanted to do something different. We met our instructor, Maria, and her mom, who came along for the ride. Maria was awesome--happy, full of energy, and super easy to work with. Our original session was scheduled for Saturday, but when we arrived, the eFoil boards were having connectivity issues with their app. Maria apologized and said she'd check in with the shop owner to see if we could reschedule. In the meantime, she let us use paddleboards for free, so we still got to enjoy some time on the water. The next morning (Sunday), Maria texted to say everything was working again, so we headed back for a noon session--and it was an absolute blast. She even took some great videos of us out on the water. Definitely recommend booking a class with Maria!

Dropped in paddled around some decrepit boats moored right near super yachts. They rent you everything you need including waterproof telephone holder $5 rent $10 you own it. Owner or manager was very helpful. Equipment is inflatable only. I have never been on an inflatable until today, only epoxy. It is much lighter to walk with, that is the only plus over epoxy. They are hard to sup if any wind or bump vs epoxy. On this day it was 92 and super humid so only paddled about an hour. Time well spent. I bookmarked for next time I am in South Beach.

I have high standards when it comes to sand, ocean, and coastal culture, and Miami Beach completely blew me away. It offers a totally different, electric vibe that you simply cannot find anywhere on the West Coast. First off, the visual aesthetic is unforgettable. Those legendary Art Deco lifeguard stands scattered along the coast bring so much character, retro flair, and bright color to the shoreline. The sand is soft, the warm turquoise water is incredible, and watching the evening sky shift into rich twilight pastels over the water is pure magic. What makes Miami Beach truly special, though, is the sheer energy. It is easily one of the most active, health-conscious, and vibrant coastal strips I've ever experienced: * Nonstop Outdoor Activity: You see people everywhere running, cycling the paved trails, dominating beach volleyball courts, and working out at the beachfront fitness areas. * The Atmosphere: The entire boulevard along the sand is pulsing with rhythm--music floating through the air, outdoor patios buzzing, and people genuinely enjoying life under the sun. * Pure Walkability: From morning workouts to evening strolls, you can walk for miles without ever running out of things to see. I honestly don't know how anyone could visit Miami Beach and not fall in love with it. The atmosphere was so lively, and even though it was super hot, I loved every minute of it. Since the FIFA World Cup was coming up, there were decorations and displays around the area that added to the excitement. It made the whole beach feel even more energetic. There's so much to do besides just relaxing on the sand. You can walk the beachfront trails, check out the outdoor workout areas, visit the nearby restaurants and shops, or simply enjoy the beautiful scenery. The beach itself was amazing. The sand was soft, the water was warm, and it was the perfect place to spend the day. Thankfully, our hotel included complimentary beach chairs, which made the experience even better. If your hotel doesn't provide them, you can always bring your own chairs or just relax on a towel or blankets. I love the Miami vibe, and South Beach is one of my favorite places to visit. It's always a fun, energetic destination, and I can't wait to come back.
