I had stopped by here previously to discuss upgrading the stereo system in my vehicle. The quote was quite involved, so I went with a partial replacement first, establishing a basis for future upgrades. The first quote was upwards of $2k, and even though I downsized to the head Unit and speakers, the installation fee was still a big pill to swallow. I called and requested a quote last week just as their site says after being highly recommended there original. I was looking for an audio upgrade for my 2019 HD Street Glide and adding hard-bag cutouts. Marcos quoted me a good price and had me all set to bring my bike in. The following week (today), I was on my way to bring it in, with cash in hand. Marcos called and told me the price was actually nearly $1000 more. I told him that's not what he quoted me on the phone. He said "well if you had come in and gotten a written quote (verses a phone quote like their site says) then you could've held me to it." I asked him "so your word on the phone doesn't mean anything? I felt like I was being duped. I was then sent a live pic with the new quote and you can hear the owner seemingly talking derogatorily about me and my profession. He asked me to write a review last week before the work was done. I'm glad I didn't. I wish them luck and hope they change their way of doing business in a day and time where your word should mean everything and be cognizant of what you say in private. Your phone could be listening. Update: Not sure what was happening, but owner then tried to give me "a deal" on a better system. As I noted that's a classic bait/ switch. Lure in with a great price and take advantage of a nearly elderly public servant with a higher priced item. Since meeting Marcos and his sons and wife I have grown to love this family first old school approach to good old fashion quality sound. I am updating my recent review to add to the exceptional service I received after my initial stereo installation. Although the work done on the initial install was good I still wanted more and I felt that my stock head unit was robbing me of the overall potential this system could produce. So I approached the team and started brainstorming ways to rid myself of ALL Sony factory components including the head unit and factory amp. Again relying on Marcos 35 years experience he pointed me in the right direction and asked me to be patient with the process due to being overly swamped with work. (Always a good problem to have) I can say without a doubt Marcos was SPOT ON yet again and Joel & Danny's work and countless hours tuning this system to perfection has me smiling ear to ear! I ended up adding an Alpine ilx-507 as well as a 2nd DSP to give me 4 channels and play nicely with the head unit. My sound is SQL quality and begging to be played loud! I want to send a special thank you to Joel for putting in the hours tuning this setup and going as far as to keep my truck an extra day because he wasn't happy with the sound. Got a complete system put in Thanksgiving 2021. Had some bugs, needed to get some equipment switched out. Everything went very well. All was taken care of. Less than 6 months ago had an issue with the back up camera that was part of the system. That was taken care of. Recently had the same problem again with the camera, took it in and was charged $125 to replace the wire that was replaced less than six months ago. I was told I was just out of warranty. read more

I think I'm in Heaven! If you love good sounding music as much as I do, come to these guys. They are the best. They even won a state-wide award for being the best. I have a 20 year old van that's customized and needed some pumpin sound and they hooked me up. Phase 1 they custom built me some kick-butt speakers that blow away whatever you'll find on the Internet. I just went in for round 2 and added some subwoofers an extra tweeters and the sound is 100% perfect! I could sit and listen to music blasting in there all day long. Funny thing is I have tinnitus in one ear, but the quality of the sound is so good that it doesn't even bother my tinnitus! Only crappy quality stereos bother my ear. I can do twice the volume on this versus a crappy stereo and my ears are smiling. Is that funny or what? Oh by the way this is a family run business and the family is rocksolid honest God-loving awesome people! I've known Marcos, Danny and Dee for 10 years now. They did a couple other cars for me over the years, earned my trust, and I keep coming back for more. Store personnel were so friendly and knowledgeable that soon customers became involved with each other's purchases and experiences and conversations with their own audio equipment. This helped pass the time as I waited for my installation to be completed, with employees giving me occasional updates. It was obvious they had no interest in helping and were only in it to charge me money. Offered to sell me a product double the quoted price upon arrival and told me I could install it myself. Made multiple attempts to schedule an appointment and was repeatedly told to come in the next day, "when they have time". The worst period period full stop. I read these reviews and seriously can only belive they are manufactured to keep the rating because there is no way that the super horrible install and after the sale service is in any way shape or form represents a reflection of the reviews. You will notice that when someone does post a bad review that the owner just dismisses and blames the customer or even claims that the customer does not exist in their database of customers. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR SHOTTY WORK! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! HORRIBLE AFTER THE SALE SERVICE! Quit hiding behind your cloak of a family business. Dont be fooled as this is the most disorganized buisness I have been in and they use a heavy handed approach to complaing customers in an effort to intimidate them from ever returning. Nothing family about it. I had a full system installed. Bad wire runs. Bad connections. Bad mounting. There was nothing done correctly. It was truly theft when they take your money before the work and deliver the electronic disaster that they through into my vehicle. I fear for my life returning to get the system addressed. I was having a waiting problem from another shop's mistake and not only did Marcos get me right in to fix it on 24 hours notice, and gave me a great deal on the repair. Stopped in without appointment. My aftermarket head unit was never wired in properly, I thought, so only one speaker worked. They brought it in and diagnosed the issue as a bad adaptor cable from the manufacturer. They changed out some bad crimp connectors and got me out the door in a little over an hour. Give yourself a favor and avoid Miami Pro Audio unless you want to burn money and deal with one of the rudest individuals in the business. I, just like most people found Miami Pro Audio through Google search. I took my car to the shop, which by the way is in the middle of nowhere. Marcos and his employee looked at all the work that was going to be done. I wanted to replace the front speaker component set from a 6.5" to 6x8 component set. I wanted to put the old front speakers in the rear. I also wanted to relocate my 5 channel JL Audio amp to behind the seat. Marcos was very short and kept talking over me even then. It was as if he is giving me a favor by installing the system in my car. He advised me to get a 5 channel Class D amp. I told him that I was going to get a quality FOCAL 6 channel amp. He quoted me $500 for the speaker install and a $500 for amp install with new cables. He did not even inspect the cables to see if they even needed replacement. The price was pretty steep but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. The shop charged me $20 plus tax as a deposit that would be applied towards the final bill and I set up a time for the install at that point. I called the shop and asked them to add a stereo to the job and also wanted to talk to Marcos to see if we can salvage cables. Marcos's wife had stated earlier that stereo addition was fine, and would be added to the total bill. Then I talked to Marcos about salvaging amp cables and he started to scream that he gets $2K-$5K jobs in a day and mine was merely a little over $1k job and he did not need it. He wanted to replace all the cables. Again, I bought a FOCAL amp that I paid $1100 for. So I agreed with him to replace the cables. I was shocked by his tone of voice and his immature behavior but I chalked it to someone having a bad day. On the day of the install, I missed an hour of work. I had to explain what needed to be done again to a different employee (his son). The employee went back in the building and here comes Marcos. I explained to Marcos again exactly what I had discussed with him at least twice before and he starts screaming and tells me to take the car somewhere else and "Get the F out of here". He then tells me that the $1100 focal amp is junk (His shop is full of cheap crappy stuff btw), Calls the system Frankenstein. Refuses to refund the deposit and screams that I am trespassing on his property. Marcos needs to be medicated. He is either too lazy or too incompetent to tackle more than a simple install. His arrogance and unprofessional behavior is horrible. Marcos is perhaps one of the rudest and shadiest business owners I have ever encountered read more
