Great staff and company. They did a great job on my system. Very professional people

"I make $2 million a year. I don't need your money, and I don't care about your bad review." That was essentially the response I received from the owner of Miami Pro Audio in Jacksonville after his shop took my 4Runner at 7:45 AM for a Wolfbox G900 TriPro installation, kept it for nearly nine hours without calling or texting me a single time, and then informed me--only after I left work early and physically showed up at 4:30 PM--that they intended to keep my truck until noon the following day. This was an installation I had scheduled nearly two weeks earlier, on August 14. I had already paid Miami Pro Audio $310.05 up front for the installation, supplied the Wolfbox and everything necessary for the job, and had been given an initial estimate of approximately three hours. I planned my day around giving them roughly four hours. Instead, 8 hours and 45 minutes passed without a single status update. No phone call saying they were running behind. No text saying there had been a problem. No request asking whether I could leave my vehicle overnight. Nothing. I finally left work early and went to the shop myself because I hadn't heard from them. That's when the owner casually told me my truck wouldn't be ready until noon the next day. I told him that was unacceptable. I told him I had other obligations and could not simply leave my vehicle there overnight without notice. I also told him plainly that this was no way to run a business. For absolute clarity: I did not curse at him. I did not threaten him. I did not call him names or personally insult him. I spoke firmly and with conviction because I believed--and still believe--that his business was responsible for the situation. His response was essentially that it was what it was. He shrugged. So I called my wife, again, to come pick me up. She drove over, got me, and we began the roughly 30-minute drive home. About 15 minutes down the road, my phone rang. It was the owner. Now, suddenly, he wanted me to come back and get my truck. He told me he was refusing to finish the installation because he didn't like the way I had spoken to him. When I told him that the failure here was his company's--not mine--he responded by telling me words to the effect of: "I have 900 reviews. I make $2 million a year. I don't need your money." He also made it clear that he didn't care about me leaving a negative review. So let's put that into perspective. I made an appointment nearly two weeks in advance. I prepaid $310.05. I dropped my vehicle off at 7:45 AM. They had it for 8 hours and 45 minutes without contacting me once. I had to leave work early and physically go to the shop just to learn that they planned to keep my vehicle overnight. And after I objected to that treatment--without cursing, threatening, or personally insulting anyone--the owner decided that the problem was how I spoke to him. We turned around and drove back. They then spent approximately another 30 minutes removing the work they had already completed so they could return my truck to me. To their credit, I received a full refund of my $310.05. However, my 4Runner was returned to me with the interior dirty. There was no apology. And that's what makes this experience so remarkable to me. The installation taking longer than expected was never the real problem. Anyone who has ever worked on a vehicle understands that jobs run long. Parts don't cooperate. Another job causes a delay. An installer runs into something unexpected. A three-hour job can become five or six hours. That's life. But when you're holding somebody else's vehicle, communication isn't optional. One phone call during those nearly nine hours could have changed the entire situation: "We're running behind. We're sorry. We aren't going to get this finished today. Can you leave the truck overnight, or would you like to reschedule?" That's it. Instead, I received zero communication, discovered the overnight delay only because I showed up myself, received no apology, and then had the owner refuse to complete the work because I firmly told him that his company's handling of the situation was unacceptable. And apparently the justification for being willing to lose a customer was that he has 900 reviews and makes $2 million a year. I can't speak for anyone else's experience with Miami Pro Audio. I can only tell you exactly what mine was. And based on that experience, I would never trust Miami Pro Audio with one of my vehicles again. read more

I had stopped by here previously to discuss upgrading the stereo system in my vehicle. The quote was quite involved, so I went with a partial replacement first, establishing a basis for future upgrades. The first quote was upwards of $2k, and even though I downsized to the head Unit and speakers, the installation fee was still a big pill to swallow. When I picked up the vehicle, I received an explanation of the installation and operation of the new head Unit. I drove down the road, turned on the music, and found favor in the upgraded stereo system. The cost of the installation initially took me aback, but after seeing how cleanly it was done, I realized the value was justified. read more

If you are serious about the sound quality in your vehicle Miami Pro sound is the place to go. The quality of service you get and the price.....again if you are serious, no audio place in Jacksonville will compare. They are great read more

Marcos and his team took a simple upgrade of door speakers in a 2013 Silverado and turned it into a masterpiece. The tuning and clarity of the speakers after installation was ridiculous. He also pointed out that my original box for my subs was for a Ford and hooked me up with a new box and my whole system is on point. You want the goods and the care go to Miami Pro! read more

You get what you pay for, and these guys are excellent at what they do! My system installation blew me away. I have not had any luck with quality work in Jax until now. They will be my go-to for everything car audio from here on out. Thank you guys, I really appreciate the great work and amazing sound quality. See you again soon for my other vehicles! read more

I called and requested a quote last week just as their site says after being highly recommended there original. I was looking for an audio upgrade for my 2019 HD Street Glide and adding hard-bag cutouts. Marcos quoted me a good price and had me all set to bring my bike in. The following week (today), I was on my way to bring it in, with cash in hand. Marcos called and told me the price was actually nearly $1000 more. I told him that's not what he quoted me on the phone. He said "well if you had come in and gotten a written quote (verses a phone quote like their site says) then you could've held me to it." I asked him "so your word on the phone doesn't mean anything? I felt like I was being duped. I was then sent a live pic with the new quote and you can hear the owner seemingly talking derogatorily about me and my profession. He asked me to write a review last week before the work was done. I'm glad I didn't. I wish them luck and hope they change their way of doing business in a day and time where your word should mean everything and be cognizant of what you say in private. Your phone could be listening. Update: Not sure what was happening, but owner then tried to give me "a deal" on a better system. As I noted that's a classic bait/ switch. Lure in with a great price and take advantage of a nearly elderly public servant with a higher priced item. All in all, I just won't do business with any company/ person that doesn't stand by their word. God bless. Be safe. read more

These gentlemen know what they are doing! Markos took the time to listen to my needs and concerns regarding my previous install; Daniel had the knowledge and professionalism to offer the equipment I needed without being pushy or unnecessary up-selling; Adrian made the vision come to life with a beautiful install. I was in great hands from the first phone call! Very much worth the drive. My new system sounds AMAZING and was worth every dime. You can't put a price on quality workmanship and these gentlemen stand behind their work. Extremely happy customer! read more

They did an excellent install of a complete system + backup camera in my car. I won't bore you with details of the exact equipment, but I gave them pretty much carte-blanche choice of the pieces to install. read more

I had to pass about 20 other car audio places to get to Miami Pro Audio, but I made the trip because I heard that they were the best. Let me tell you....they lived up to the hype. My system sounds amazing and Marcos and his team tailored the system to the exact specs that I wanted. I wanted a "clean" system as opposed to the car-rattling bass systems that you hear all the time. Miami Pro Audio met my demands and exceeded my expectations. These are your go-to guys for car audio. We had the pleasure of having our newly purchased pre-owned Ford 350 transit passenger van audio PA system serviced by Miami Pro Team. the customer service was excellent. We reached out on a Wednesday not knowing they were closed. After leaving a message; we received not one but two text messages. Wow!!! Our initial contact was with Dee. A warm and caring approach. Both Dee and Marcos were amazing and explained everything from the diagnostic to delivery. Both Dee and Marcos came out during the delivery and explained what they did and how to operate the system. We met a team member that came out to make sure we were okay, if you need assistance with your Audio system go to the Miami Pro Team. Avis l Coast One Tours LLC read more

Since meeting Marcos and his sons and wife I have grown to love this family first old school approach to good old fashion quality sound. I am updating my recent review to add to the exceptional service I received after my initial stereo installation. Although the work done on the initial install was good I still wanted more and I felt that my stock head unit was robbing me of the overall potential this system could produce. So I approached the team and started brainstorming ways to rid myself of ALL Sony factory components including the head unit and factory amp. Again relying on Marcos 35 years experience he pointed me in the right direction and asked me to be patient with the process due to being overly swamped with work. (Always a good problem to have) I can say without a doubt Marcos was SPOT ON yet again and Joel & Danny's work and countless hours tuning this system to perfection has me smiling ear to ear! I ended up adding an Alpine ilx-507 as well as a 2nd DSP to give me 4 channels and play nicely with the head unit. My sound is SQL quality and begging to be played loud! I want to send a special thank you to Joel for putting in the hours tuning this setup and going as far as to keep my truck an extra day because he wasn't happy with the sound. It's rare you meet folks that truly care about their brand as much as these guys do so I'm grateful for this. DO NOT HESITATE to bring your vehicle to this family business. They are salt of the earth and very good at what they do! read more

awesome work back to back and love the customer happiness.the sundown zv6 install with sundown sfb 5000

Got a complete system put in Thanksgiving 2021. Had some bugs, needed to get some equipment switched out. Everything went very well. All was taken care of. Less than 6 months ago had an issue with the back up camera that was part of the system. That was taken care of. Recently had the same problem again with the camera, took it in and was charged $125 to replace the wire that was replaced less than six months ago. I was told I was just out of warranty. read more

For months I shopped around for a reliable company to solve my pathetic Toyota Tundra stereo system! Tundra owners can appreciate my pain. When I called this company they were totally professional, caring, and guided me in all the steps that we needed to take to make the system a rock star. The quote that I was given was fair and up front, again the best part is they know what they are doing and the sell the best products for my needs. The install was impressive and the sound that my Tundra is producing now is SIMPLY AMAZING! I am hearing sounds I never heard before. The best part in dealing with this company is that they CARE, and just as important they are AUDIO EXPERTS, they know their craft. If your are in NE Florida this is the shop to go, they are the best!!!!!! read more

I think I'm in Heaven! If you love good sounding music as much as I do, come to these guys. They are the best. They even won a state-wide award for being the best. I have a 20 year old van that's customized and needed some pumpin sound and they hooked me up. Phase 1 they custom built me some kick-butt speakers that blow away whatever you'll find on the Internet. I just went in for round 2 and added some subwoofers an extra tweeters and the sound is 100% perfect! I could sit and listen to music blasting in there all day long. Funny thing is I have tinnitus in one ear, but the quality of the sound is so good that it doesn't even bother my tinnitus! Only crappy quality stereos bother my ear. I can do twice the volume on this versus a crappy stereo and my ears are smiling. Is that funny or what? Oh by the way this is a family run business and the family is rocksolid honest God-loving awesome people! I've known Marcos, Danny and Dee for 10 years now. They did a couple other cars for me over the years, earned my trust, and I keep coming back for more. Do yourself a favor and get your job done here because they are the best and you don't want to kick yourself over crappy sound later. read more

Very profession and know their stuff. Was installed quick and had us out and back on the road.

Had my Sony stereo installed along with a couple of Rockford Fosgate speakers i purchased installed today, and I must admit that it was the most pleasant experience I've ever had at a car stereo store. Store personnel were so friendly and knowledgeable that soon customers became involved with each other's purchases and experiences and conversations with their own audio equipment. This helped pass the time as I waited for my installation to be completed, with employees giving me occasional updates. I also appreciated being consulted as to how and what extra touches I desired on the car. Miami Pro Audio knows what they are doing and how to treat their customers. It was truly worth getting up early and driving in the pouring rain 45 minutes to get here. And I am ecstatic with the Sony stereo and quality of work provided. Bravo Miami Pro Audio! read more

BUYER BEWARE! TERRIBLE Service. After multiple attempts to schedule an appointment, upon walking in when instructed to arrive they informed me that they were unable to help. It was obvious they had no interest in helping and were only in it to charge me money. Offered to sell me a product double the quoted price upon arrival and told me I could install it myself. Made multiple attempts to schedule an appointment and was repeatedly told to come in the next day, "when they have time". Not usually the one to leave reviews, but I highly encourage consumers to explore other "family businesses". They are way better stereo shops in town! read more

I took my 2017 dodge journey here, they offered me a solution to the sound that I wanted to hear after shopping around, they beat all competitors prices and for bringing in a quote from a competitor they even threw in a free set of tweeters. I can't believe how amazing the audio legion speakers sound that they installed for me, never heard of that speaker brand until meeting the pros at Miami Pro. I will be back here for all of my audio needs, plan to upgrade soon. Thanks you for this amazing sound Marcus with Miami Pro! Me and my wife set up an appointment for a later date and decided to leave the car with them all day while we shopped around town in a rental car, they called me around 230 telling me my car was ready, I was shocked, I thought it would take literally all day to install the radio, highs amp, bass amp, and all 4 door speakers.. I cannot even tell that they were in my doors, but I can see the shiny new cones of them audio legion speakers. read more

Brought my Audi A4 in today to get a couple things fixed from an install I did myself. These guys are awesome, helped out with some rear speakers and installed my 2 din touch screen receiver for me.

The worst period period full stop. I read these reviews and seriously can only belive they are manufactured to keep the rating because there is no way that the super horrible install and after the sale service is in any way shape or form represents a reflection of the reviews. You will notice that when someone does post a bad review that the owner just dismisses and blames the customer or even claims that the customer does not exist in their database of customers. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR SHOTTY WORK! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! HORRIBLE AFTER THE SALE SERVICE! Quit hiding behind your cloak of a family business. Dont be fooled as this is the most disorganized buisness I have been in and they use a heavy handed approach to complaing customers in an effort to intimidate them from ever returning. Nothing family about it. I had a full system installed. Bad wire runs. Bad connections. Bad mounting. There was nothing done correctly. It was truly theft when they take your money before the work and deliver the electronic disaster that they through into my vehicle. I fear for my life returning to get the system addressed. I had to go elsewhere to have the repairs done. Do not be fooled by the charm like I was. STAY AWAY. I guess this is my only recourse. read more

I can't say enough good things about this shop and the man that runs it. I was having a waiting problem from another shop's mistake and not only did Marcos get me right in to fix it on 24 hours notice, and gave me a great deal on the repair. He could have beat me up on it for having to fix someone else's work, but instead he earned a customer from now on. His shop is not only clean, but full of product and run by an excellent staff. Not only will I be back, but I will also refer anyone in the market here as well. Great job guys!! read more

Stopped in without appointment. My aftermarket head unit was never wired in properly, I thought, so only one speaker worked. Very clean workshop, nice people, honest, good value. read more

Great family owned business and knowledgeable, they've installed two radios for me and I'd go back again for anything auto audio related.

Give yourself a favor and avoid Miami Pro Audio unless you want to burn money and deal with one of the rudest individuals in the business. I, just like most people found Miami Pro Audio through Google search. I took my car to the shop, which by the way is in the middle of nowhere. Marcos and his employee looked at all the work that was going to be done. I wanted to replace the front speaker component set from a 6.5" to 6x8 component set. I wanted to put the old front speakers in the rear. I also wanted to relocate my 5 channel JL Audio amp to behind the seat. Marcos was very short and kept talking over me even then. It was as if he is giving me a favor by installing the system in my car. He advised me to get a 5 channel Class D amp. I told him that I was going to get a quality FOCAL 6 channel amp. He quoted me $500 for the speaker install and a $500 for amp install with new cables. He did not even inspect the cables to see if they even needed replacement. The price was pretty steep but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. The shop charged me $20 plus tax as a deposit that would be applied towards the final bill and I set up a time for the install at that point. I called the shop and asked them to add a stereo to the job and also wanted to talk to Marcos to see if we can salvage cables. Marcos's wife had stated earlier that stereo addition was fine, and would be added to the total bill. Then I talked to Marcos about salvaging amp cables and he started to scream that he gets $2K-$5K jobs in a day and mine was merely a little over $1k job and he did not need it. He wanted to replace all the cables. Again, I bought a FOCAL amp that I paid $1100 for. So I agreed with him to replace the cables. I was shocked by his tone of voice and his immature behavior but I chalked it to someone having a bad day. On the day of the install, I missed an hour of work. I had to explain what needed to be done again to a different employee (his son). The employee went back in the building and here comes Marcos. I explained to Marcos again exactly what I had discussed with him at least twice before and he starts screaming and tells me to take the car somewhere else and "Get the F out of here". He then tells me that the $1100 focal amp is junk (His shop is full of cheap crappy stuff btw), Calls the system Frankenstein. Refuses to refund the deposit and screams that I am trespassing on his property. Marcos needs to be medicated. He is either too lazy or too incompetent to tackle more than a simple install. His arrogance and unprofessional behavior is horrible. Marcos is perhaps one of the rudest and shadiest business owners I have ever encountered read more

I was blown away by the finished product. I don't have any hiss or whine, and my speakers are crystal clear.
