The staff in North Miami is amazing! She started guitar lessons last year with Marcel and loved it! She participated in all their camps this Summer and had a blast learning and making new friends! This School feels like a community! The staff is very warm, welcoming & patient with all the kids. The owner, Nancy, is very sweet & always goes out of her way to make everyone feel important and tended to. We are blessed to have found such a loving community! My daughter starts the Performance Band Program next week, thankfully! She's been missing the staff, since Summer camp ended 2 weeks ago. In terms of her progress, now not only does she sing & play guitar, but is learning bass & piano, & is hoping to learn drums soon! I see her truly motivated, which was hard to see since the start of the pandemic! Not only is she learning and having fun in a safe environment, but she is motivated and happy! Sabina, Teddy, Robert, Dylan & Jasmine are part of the School of Rock family in North Miami and my daughter loves them all! The School goes out of its way to keep everyone safe with their safety precautions. They wear masks, maintain a safe distance, encourage washing & sanitizing hands. We're looking forward to seeing them again next week to continue this Rock & Roll journey!

I learned so much in every single class I took. In university at USF I took a semester of ballet and the teacher complimented my technique as being the best one in the class, all thanks to the wonderful education I received at academy of arts. Now in 2025 my 3 year old daughter is taking classes and is enjoying every class. My mother, daughter and I recently went to the Christmas show and we were so proud to experience the show. It was such a great show, still professional and beautiful. 13 years later and Academy of Arts is still producing wonderful dancers. I highly recommend this studio to all dancers and artists who are eager to learn and perfect their craft.

This is a full dance school that offers: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Pas De Deux, Lyrical, Tap, Hip-Hop, Flamenco, Modern Dance, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Drama, Piano, Guitar, Violin, and Voice. The faculty is certified and have led professional careers in their respective areas of creative expertise. They begin laying a foundation from the preschool years all the way to young adulthood. And they have both female and male students. They also offer an AfterSchool program and work your child's classes at a mutually suitable schedule. The cost of the classes is comparable to other dance academies. I have enjoyed closely watching the development in my niece, as well as in many of her close friends. I also look forward to their professionally-mounted recitals every year.

Den of thieves indeed. Sharks. See the other Yelp reviews. A completely unethical organization in…read morethe business of ripping people off. They kept my $200 deposit, after telling me the cello was in perfect condition when I returned it. I asked for that in writing and the employee said he couldn't do that, but that he'd vouch for us when the owner got there. Four hours later I got a text with the image of a small corner of a cello with a small wood chip saying it was damaged and they'd keep my deposit to repair it, all $200. No other explanation, no proof that it was my instrument, no reply to my text. Just "hey we are keeping your money." They were liars and thieves from the very beginning. I was told all the strings were brand new. One month in, a string breaks while my child is playing. I take it back and they say I have to pay more than $100 to fix it, reiterating they are all new strings and blaming my child for breaking it. A few weeks later, her private teacher is playing the cello and another string snaps. She tells me all the strings are old and worn. She repairs it herself because she too had a bad experience with them and refuses to send anyone there. She also said that replacing a string should be about $20, not more than $100. That is beyond the point since they rented us a cello with worn strings and should have replaced them no charge. A short time after that, her school teacher, the very person who recommended them, said they gave her a terrible bow, completely frayed. He told us to take it back and tell them that he said so, otherwise they'd blame it on my daughter and charge us for that, too. We did what he suggested and they did not charge us but replaced it with another terrible bow that also frayed. I will never set foot there again; I will also file a complaint with the BBB. If you want an ethical, professional company I strongly recommend you look elsewhere, but not these fraudsters in Miami.
