Great place to stop for a quick bite on a beach day or when you're not feeling up for a full meal…read more Sandwiches are large and taste great! Plenty of customization options. A counter seat is hit or miss but nice to have available instead of only being a walk up window. Skip the smoothies. They're watery and thus not very filling or flavorful. You're better off getting a sandwich (again, as this was my 2nd visit) or going somewhere else for a smoothie.

I came around 1 PM and the restaurant was really busy with locals and some tourists. The restaurant only has counter seating in the windows with barstool seating (no inside seating) so you have to wait until someone gets up and then you seat yourself. I waited about 2-3 minutes and found a seat (it's all pretty quick because people eat their sandwiches and come and go). When I was seated I was warmly greeted by a restaurant employee and he promptly took my order. I ordered the Bora Bora smoothie to start (around $7) and ordered the turkey and brie cheese sandwich (around $10). The smoothie was made quickly with fresh fruit and the sandwich is a huge portion and came up quick with fresh bread and all fresh produce, the sandwich was truly amazing! Make sure to use the vinagarette dressing on the counter, this is homemade and is so good! If you're near a La Sandwicherie location, definitely stop in!

For food I ordered the tres leches French toast. The were delicious. Different than most restaurants. The size / shape are unique like large French toast sticks. Crispy exterior with a extremely soft interior. The caramel sauce and whipped cream were the perfect balance. I also ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and a matcha. The match was ok it wasn't anything to write home about. My other party had on letters which were good with potato's. Also tea which they served with a actual tea pot and mini honeys. Great presentation. The staff was extremely nice even letting us practice our Spanish.

They somehow…read moreinstantly know when you are a visitor, and at first, the service is overly nice, almost like they are rolling out the red carpet. You feel special, flattered, and excited to sit down. And then... poof. As soon as you are seated, it is like you evaporated from their memory. You are there, but apparently invisible, and suddenly all that charm vanishes. The food came out cold, which would have been fine if it were still tasty, but sadly, it was neither warm nor particularly good. They took it away to "fix it," but the damage was done. I lost track of how many times I saw our waiter after that, and unfortunately, it wasn't enough to make up for what I paid or for the experience that had already gone off the rails. You can forgive a small mistake, but when the cold food and disappearing service team are combined, it feels like a comedy of errors. So let me give you some friendly advice: stay away. Stay away. Stay away. Unless you are looking for a dining experience that doubles as a lesson in how quickly customer service can vanish, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I'll admit it had story value for me, and I left with a funny tale to tell, but as far as eating out in Miami goes, there are far better options that won't make you question if you were ever seated in the first place.

The line to order inside was incredibly long, so our group downloaded the app and ordered there instead, although creating an account required quite a bit of information. I ordered the Fire Egg Wrap and an Iced Banana Brew. The wrap was good and very filling, but not something I'd order again. The Iced Banana Brew, however, was a 10/10 and the highlight of the meal. Despite the crowds, service was efficient, and I'll definitely be back for another Iced Banana Brew!

In fact, myself and my girlfriend were eating from there at least 2 times a week. No other restaurant has ever remotely rivaled my patronage on such a level. With that said, my "go too" had been the Kale Caesar Salad. Suddenly, as restaurants do, they changed it to a kale and romaine salad and completely changed the dressing. What a huge disappointment and after giving it a few try's, I'm done with the new Caesar. My frequency has dropped down to maybe once every couple of weeks.

As we walked by Safron, the smells and aroma with the lit up menu was what drove us right in. It's a very small hole in the wall, more for takeout, but they have a few tables and chairs outside that make the perfect people watching while you eat, that's free entertainment! We ordered the falafel plate to share and it was plenty. There's rice was absolutely delicious and the falafel were made on the spot served perfectly warm and crispy. Pro tip: ask for their house made hot sauce, it will rewire your brain. That was the perfect touch to our platter. Next time would LOVE to order the falafel wrap which comes with fries. Front Porch has always been a spot we dined at, mostly for breakfast, but sometimes lunch and dinner. At times, we would stay at the Z Hotel just for Front Porch. Unfortunately, that has changed, and I would never go back or accept a free meal or service--imagine that, never accept a free meal in Miami. The service was bad, actually the waiter was fair to ok, but the bleach blonde older server consumed the air out of the room. She was grumpy, not engaging, and when she spoke her voice was so deep and off putting that it frightened me. The culinary offerings, reminds me of a hospital cafeteria from the 80s/90s . The worst part was the theming and lack of ambiance. It felt like a seedy nightclub or raggedy adult club you have to take a shower after leaving. I had to apologize to wife for such a poor experience. Bad husband! Also, I believe the operation was being managed or run by a small family of 4/5 people with no hospitality, culinary, or service experience. Finally, for $100, I never have to go there again. Front Porch, RIP. Sorry...

There were 4 of us. We all ordered the same thing it was just eggs, meat, pancake and toast and 1 coffee. With the service charge it was $170. That and only 1 person received toast. After asking we were all almost done eating before it was received. A humerus point. She brought 3 orders of dry toast (I'm fine with dry toast) there was a single pat of butter with the 3 orders. The menu also stated multigrain toast, it was white toast for the late 3 orders. You can tell the waitress didn't care. She already gets the 20% service charge. We asked for the check 3 times. It took over 30 minutes + to get that. To the point that my daughter that came to visit had to leave before I paid so she could get to the airport on time. I'm not one to leave negative reviews and complain, but this was terrible.
