Very solid four rating on my first visit. Good fast service and the food was hot and very good. They have a large variety of dishes and I will return to try some others . Nice addition to Lawndale drive for good breakfast/lunch dining . Inside is bright and inviting. I had the grilled blueberry muffin with eggs and home made corned beef hash. Very good and loved the grilled muffin along with the flavorful hash. My hubby had the Monte Cristo sandwich which was good. I love a good breakfast place and they check all the boxes z

My new favorite breakfast spot in Greensboro. Well staffed with friendly people. Prompt service and the food came out quickly. Excellent food prepared just as I like. The over medium eggs had the whites cooked through, the yolks were runny and there was no brown or burnt parts. The unexpected star of the show were the grits...very smooth and creamy, the best I've had in quite a while. They have a nice selection of coffee drinks and seem to sell a fair amount of mixed drinks such as mimosas, espresso martinis and the like. Lastly, they make the OJ fresh and maybe to order. A great experience, you should give them a try!

I hope this restaurant sticks around for a long time. The wait time was too bad, maybe like 20 mins. This was definitely the best breakfast I have had in a while. The atmosphere was great and I love how they are adding a bar. We also ordered Pineapple Mimosas which were delicious. The waitress was fantastic and made our dining experience memorable. The food came out just perfect, you definitely get a lot of food for the price. I will be returning!

It's about time Greensboro got a new, delicious breakfast spot! My daughter and I decided to have a girls day on Sunday and first up was Miam! They were packed around 11:30am but since it was just the two of us, our wait time was only around 10 minutes. The inside is spacious and clean and our waitress was amazing. The food was also wonderful. The blueberry hushpuppies have my heart, I'll come back just for those. My steak and eggs were also very good - eggs cooked perfectly and the biscuit was big and fluffy. My steak was a tad overcooked but still tender and flavorful. The goat cheese pesto grits were the star. What a creative spin on the classic. My daughter also loved her breakfast plate. The fruit has a good assortment of fresh fruit which can be hard to come by. Overall we had a really good experience and will be adding this to our breakfast rotation!

We typically love to seat in the far right room, ask for Valencia or Gloria (they're amazing). We have two younger kids and very understanding, forgiving of the mess, and very friendly service. Bussing team is very quick at turning over tables and even sweep underneath the tables after every service. Our weekly breakfast /brunch spot

Good food, convenient location, great service! We enjoyed our first stop in here. The first thing that stuck out to me was how spacious the restaurant is and especially the waiting area. This is important because I'm sure it gets packed, and other similar spots have zero waiting area! Our waitress was extremely attentive, but not over the top. The food came out quickly. 5/5 experience with service and ambiance. 4/5 on the food. Some of this is just our preference. It was good, but it was nothing spectacular in my opinion. Everything was just a little bit bland. The portion sizes, however, were outstanding, especially for the price. We'll definitely come back to try other things!

We decided to try Miam for the first time. They have three locations in the Triad and we focused on the one on Lawndale Drive in Greensboro. The aesthetic of Miam is rather minimalist, but it is a very clean and appealing restaurant on the inside. We were joined by another couple. My wife and I each ordered omelettes. My wife opted for a create your own, which she focused on veggies and feta cheese. I had the Chef's special omelette, which is really sort of a meat lovers omelette. My wife had a side of fruit, while I wanted to try the hashbrowns which had been recommended by our friends who have eaten at Miam before. Let me start on the positive side first. Both of our omelettes were absolutely delicious. The flavor of the eggs and all the ingredients blended together beautifully. Both were very satisfying. There were, however, a couple of issues that are influencing the rating that I am giving Miam. There were a total of four of us in our party, and our two guests received their breakfasts and then we waited. They politely did not start, which meant that their food was getting cold as it took roughly another 4 to 5 minutes for my wife to get her meal and then after that another two or three minutes before mine came. This clunky presentation was simply not optimal as we didn't get our food together and so some got cold while other folks in the party had to wait. There was nothing exotic about our orders that would have possibly required a staggered service. Unfortunately, my hashbrowns were dry and overcooked. You expect a crispiness with hashbrowns, but most of mine were brittle, hard and overcooked. Not very enjoyable. Due to these couple of missteps I can only truly give Miam a 3. The quality and flavor of the omelette should've carried the day, but unfortunately, it was dragged down by the rest of the experience.

I stopped by Miam Breakfast House's newest location in my neighborhood at the Lawndale Shopping Center for a brunch meeting, and overall had a great experience. The vibe is bright, well-lit, and welcoming. It was perfect for a weekday brunch meeting or a relaxed weekend hang. The space feels fresh and inviting, and it's easy to settle in and enjoy your time there. The menu offers a solid mix of sweet and savory options, with plenty that caught my eye, and I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more. On this visit, I ordered the BLT with added avocado and a side of fruit. Everything was spot on, the portion size was generous, the toast was perfectly done, and the fruit was honestly one of the best sides I've had. It was fresh and just the right amount, featuring strawberries, blueberries, and bananas (which I appreciated, since I'm not a fan of melon). Service was friendly and attentive. Since it's a newer location, the staff is still getting familiar with the menu, but they were welcoming and helpful throughout, keeping out glasses of water full. Parking was also easy and conveniently close to the front of the restaurant, which is always a plus. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes and experience their weekend brunch. Also worth noting: they don't offer mimosas or Bloody Marys, but honestly, that didn't take away from the experience at all. The food and atmosphere stand strong on their own.

The service at Miam was excellent, and its a beautiful space. Try to avoid sitting at the front in the morning, as you will be blinded by the sun. The food was good. The blueberry hushpuppies were unique and delicious, and the coffee was quite good. The Florentine Benedict was good, though a bit bland. The bananas foster french toast was sweet but lacked depth of flavor.

The food was amazing. We ordered blueberry hush puppies, sweet potato pancakes, and the shrimp and grits. Everything was fresh, hot and portions were generous. Ruby was our server and she was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. The ambiance was cozy. There was only one thing, a fly. The fly buzzed around our table and our food the entire time. We waved off the fly but it was persistent. We ended up leaving and finishing our breakfast at home. Not the best first experience we were hoping for. Did I mention it was my daughter's birthday? Everything else was great. (Maybe next time we will ask not to sit by the window.)

Nice little breakfast spot, clean and friendly staff. They do have a section that is one long booth with little tables, I don't like eating with strangers sitting 12 inches from me. You can't have a conversation. Dear Dad's on Battleground has that and even though the food is good I don't go much. Miam has great food and employees, the seating is the only negative.

This place is so cute! We had a large party (10) so had to wait awhile for 2 tables side by side to open up. We were excited to try the mimosa flight I saw on another review but this location doesn't have their liquor license yet. We started with the blueberry hush puppies - so good! They come with honey butter & homemade blueberry jam. My friend ordered the chicken & waffles , felt the chicken was bland but waffles were good especially with the leftover blueberry jam. I had the Combo of the day - sausage tastes like Neese's, grits were really good, and French Toast was huge! We will definitely be back!

I have been a fan of the Miam Breakfast House location in Winston Salem, and was pleased to learn that a location opened up closer to me in Greensboro! Like the Winston location, this one did not disappoint! Because of the location, there was plenty of parking. The restaurant is spacious, nicely decorated, the staff were friendly, and the service was quick. We ordered the Sunny Side Skillet (w/o banana peppers), a Belgian waffle, and the Combo of the Day (eggs fried hard, bacon, fruit, and pancakes w/ blueberry syrup), pomegranate tea, and green tea. Everything was delicious and not too salty. I will definitely be back for the goat cheese and pesto grits!

Since I was driving back by on my home the next day, had a late lunch. Arrived around 3pm on a Friday and sat at the bar. Given the hour, it was fairly quiet. Weird experience, bar was wide open. I went to the bathroom and when I came back, someone decided to sit in the seat right next to me. Why?! I must comment on the service. The barkeep got me a menu quick and I ordered a water. During my meal, my water sat empty for 5 minutes or so even thought I counted 8 staff members behind the bar. Given the time of day, it was not busy. I ordered onion rings (as a side) and the Bacon Jam burger as it came with the "cordon Bleu" fries. The onion rings stole the show. So good. The fries were not my jam. Low quality cheese sauce with lunch meat ham that was diced. My fault, I should have subbed regular fries as I don't like stuff on my fries. I was expecting it to be a seasoning. My mistake. The burger was good not great. I got the 12 oz size and learned it is 2 fat 6 oz. patties stacked. Makes it VERY tall. The description of this burger is shown in one of my photos. Again, it was good but the flavors just did not pop. Wish I got the French Onion burger. Next time. :-) I do recommend!
