Possibly my favorite breakfast spot! The drinks and the beignets are worth it alone. When they come out hot the beignets are soooo good! The blackberry drink, and the lavender drink- and even the orange juice- delicious. I am picky about drinks too so it's so nice to get consistently delicious drinks! The fruit is always so fresh- the food is always hot and well made exactly as ordered. We have been twice now. My fav drink is the Lavender Refresher - but sub the blue berries for black berries! Our server was very friendly, professional and kind. She dropped off menus and brought us water, and took our beverage requests. Our fresh coffees reappeared momentarily. Great breakfast place! Their blueberry lemon pancakes with goat cheese was delicious. The lemon was very subtle and not artificial tasting. It definitely needs maple syrup along with it since the goat cheese topping can be pretty thick. The Omelette was perfect too. Perfectly fluffy. Bonnie, our waitress spoiled us to death. My friend and I were visiting this area to attend a special event and she wanted to go to brunch here... She had a dish that was a spin on eggs Benedict, which had bacon and tomato, and I had the apple fritter French toast with rum butter syrup it came with a side of bacon and scrambled eggs. Finally got around to trying this place out. It didn't disappoint. Our waitress was Crystal and she was really good and attentive. She gave us complimentary beignets since it was our first time there, which I thought was a nice gesture. I basically built my own omelette, which was very flavorful. I had shredded chicken, onions, green chiles, and cheese, My grits were just "meh". My husband said his Apple Fritter French Toast was alright, but says he wouldn't get it again. However, he says all food is just "alright". The ambiance was nice, I really can't remember if music was playing or not, because I just heard lots of conversations from the various patrons. Over the last 10 years or so, a good number of breakfast/brunch theme restaurants have setup shop in the WS area. This spot, chain from Louisiana, is among the latest to open. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, with a side of home fried potatoes ($14.99). The version served here is very much distanced from the traditional dish served in Mexico and much of the Southwestern US. I must admit that when I read the items included in the dish served here I had my reservations - 2 over medium fried eggs, crispy tortillas, black beans, onion, green chilies, cheddar jack cheese, and cilantro - with small containers of salsa and sour cream. The most notable thing about these ingredients is there is no ranchero sauce included - seems difficult to have Huevos Rancheros WITHOUT rancheros sauce! I can confirm that I found no hint of sauce in the small portion of this dish that I actually ate! The construction of this dish contributed additionally to its overwhelming lack of authenticity. The tortilla pieces were layered on the bottom, then topped with chopped green chilies, a very few black beans and chopped white onion, then the 2 fried eggs were next - then all was covered by the cheddar jack cheese. This was then placed under a broiler to melt the cheese. What this did was cause the eggs to be overcooked - both yolks were solid, and several of the tortilla pieces were charred. This type of thick, melting cheese is never used on this dish - if any cheese is used it is cotija, and then only a dusting. All in all, this was a mess. A classic dish is that for a reason, best to not stray too far off the course. Definitely will not order this again, may try the restaurant again at some point. read more

My friends and I had an excellent Easter brunch here today. Our plan was to meet at 11am but a little after 10, I checked the website and the waitlist was 50-80min. I'm glad we put ourselves on the list in advance! One friend arrived around 11:30 and was seated immediately. The two of us followed shortly after. It's such a cute spot, clean, light, opening. Our server (Braden?) was super helpful and friendly- very patient, we were overwhelmed with all the options!- and he gave us his recommendations. They also gave us the 1/2 order of beignet biscuits (sign up for their rewards online) so it was awesome to start with that! We shared a mimosa pitcher and ended up ordering the Mardi Gras omelet, shrimp and grits, and lemon blueberry pancakes. Generous portions, very reasonable pricing, good flavor, and really great service all around. The general manager came over to thank us for joining - if anything, we were all just happy that this place was open on the holiday! This location opened in March of 2025. I decided to give it a try since I had eaten at one in Asheville, North Carolina and loved it. As I approached the door, a staff member opened it for me with a kind welcome greeting. I was eating solo and sat at a two top table. The inside is very nicely decorated with a bar and outdoor seating. I decided to start with a house coffee. When it came I tasted to see what would need to add. I usually add creamer at the least. I added nothing! It was the best black coffee I had tasted. They sell the coffee and I quickly requested a bag (comes grinded and whole bean). Next I ordered the hot honey chicken and waffles with a side of city grits. While waiting on my food, a manager brought me a plate of beignets with a side of orange purée mixed with honey. Apparently it's free on your first visit. The beignets were very soft and tasty with the purée on top. The city grits came with scallions, bacon and cheese. It was very tasty! The hot honey waffles were next and I couldn't be happier with the flavor. The hot honey comes on the side with a container of syrup. The chicken was tender and juicy. The waffle perfectly toasted. I tried a bite and the flavor popped. The hot honey was mild and blended nicely with the waffle and chicken. The portion size was enough for me to eat on the next morning. Overall I will be bringing my family to eat here. It's a nice place with nice people and great food. Everyone was super nice from the manager to my waitress Kanaria. read more

I've been waiting for this place to open up and they did not disappoint! Firstly everyone is so friendly, today was their grand opening and everyone was delighted to be at work, spirits were high and everyone had a smile on their face! They boast a gluten free menu, and a vegetarian menu along side their regular menus! I got their sunrise spinach scrambler and their broken egg biscuit sandwich and their potatoes/homefries. Everything was amazing! For a drink I got their cinnamon roll coldbrew they do have milk substitutes! They also have cocktails and mocktails, the bartenders Tiffany and Brock were very excited and very helpful. There are plenty of places to sit inside and they have a nice sitting area outside. Other friend had the BLT&A half sandwich and the house salad. Again a lot of food and she enjoyed it all. They don't skimp on the main ingredients. We also out of curiosity tried the small plate of biscuit beignets . I love a good beignet so wondered how the texture would be with a biscuit. Very good! Completely different texture of course not as light but still good and more crunchy outside with lots of powered sugar! Now, about that Gumbo-- I grew up in Atlanta and we knew gumbo from the number of friends and neighbors that moved and brought that authentic flavor and spice. This gumbo did not disappoint. I really wanted to like it, and the food was good... But we waited forever and it came out cold. Even so, the bourbon pancakes were pretty amazing, hence the 4 stars despite the temperature. The pricing was a little higher than most breakfast places, but not unbearably so. I'll probably try again eventually, but perhaps they need more time to smooth things out. read more

Judging by the trays of very decadent breakfast sweets I saw go by my table you could really go all out. I ordered a bacon burger and had a side of home fries and my wild child had a chicken biscuit with an over easy egg on top with grits. The burger was quite good and I appreciated the brioche bun and the fresh crisp topping ingredients. The potatoes - home fries - were undercooked and I could not eat them. The biscuit was quite good. The fried chicken was mediocre. The over easy egg was quite overcooked, and the grits had absolutely no flavor. You can add butter, salt, and pepper, and I did appreciate that they had a peppercorn and sea salt grinder on the table. The coffee was superb, however, I was unable to easily get a refill, I finally asked for one despite the fact that I put the empty cup at the corner of my table as a clue. The service was underwhelming. It did take quite some time for our food to come out and then after that, crickets. Because it is new, my review should not serve as a condemnation. I could smell the fishiness from around the corner walking back from the restroom- I knew our food must have gotten to the table because of the cheap lobster smell. Husband got some cinnamon French toast thing and it was SO sweet but not in a good way. Sub par cinnamon buns coated in caramel sauce. Their beignet-biscuits are literally biscuit dough deep fried with orange marmalade. Disappointed but feel like we should have known. Just got excited to try a new restaurant in one of our most frequented locations. *I will say that their brunch blueberry margarita was great, but a good cocktail is not enough for us to return.
