They also offer some gluten-free items, and I chose a Caramel Peanut Butter Cookie that was sweet and chewy. Food: They had an amazing assortment of fresh baked goods. There was a large selection of cupcakes, bars, croissants, scones, and more. I decided on a Chocolate Chip Scone with a mocha, which turned out to be an absolutely terrific combination. The mocha had a nice balance of coffee and chocolate, along with plenty of whipped cream on top. The scone had a great texture, with just the right amount of chocolate chips for sweetness. Next time, I will ask for the mocha to be a bit hotter. Service: I received a friendly greeting and a sincere smile from the barista/server. She did a great job explaining the bakery options and served my mocha in a large china mug. She checked in to see how I liked the food and drink and was exceptionally friendly the entire time. I was also offered a sample of the Black Forest Cupcake, which was delicious. Thanks, Kathy. Atmosphere: It's a large bakery operation, and you can see into the work area, which gives the impression of a high-quality operation. The café seating area is near the entrance, with lots of natural sunlight coming through the windows. I was the only customer there at the time, so it was very quiet and relaxing.
