Traditional Mexican street-food tacos: 2 hot corn tortillas cradling your choice of chicken, carne asada, chorizo and other meat options. Onions and cilantro are the only other ingredients, and they are muy sabroso. The homemade salsas are also to die for. Best part: soooo inexpensive. My new fave Mexican spot. read more

Excellent and authentic Mexican food! The tacos are delicious and perfectly priced. Less than $2 each! They offer three different salsas with the meal and have excellent rice as well. Looks like they recently updated their menu and it now includes a fajita quesedila which sounded delicious. My favorite taco spot! read more

Mi Taco - Pollo, carnita, and carne asada tacos - Mexican Near Me - Tucker, Georgia

I have yet to have anything I didn't love...especially the Tacos Pastor. The Chimichangas, Hauraches and Tacos are fantastic!

My brother and I discovered this authentic Mexican restaurant and now my husband, family and friends go here when in Tucker. Food is great! We have never been disappointed! Prices are reasonable for what you get! My sons love the California Burrito. I love their Mi Taco dip with chicken, shrimp and white cheese! read more

Found this little taco place on a whim, I'm super glad I went! I got four chicken tacos and a horchata. The only reason I give this place three stars is for the fact that customer service could've been a lot better. I don't know if it was because we were the only colored people in there but we did not receive the same service as everyone else in the establishment. read more

This place is amazing and it's literally down the block from me . They make your tacos how ever you want them !! The service was fast and friendly . It's nothing fancy it's legit a mom and pop taqueria with delicious food . It definitely gets packed here quick but that's why I just do take out . They will definitely be getting more of my business on the regular read more

Ok so first off, the place is a small little mom and pop authentic taco spot. You probably wouldn't even know it was open bc the neon open sign doesn't work so the only reason i knew it wasn't closed down is bc i saw ppl inside. I got my food to go..ordered one chicken and 3 steak tacos. It was a 20 minute wait for the food. The thing about that 20 minute wait was that it gave me time to stare at stuff on the walls and i noticed one thing was missing...the health score paper. So i looked and looked and i FINALLY spotted it....behind a machine or something that sits to the right behind the register, and it's upside down. Wanna know why? They have a 73. Or at least that what the paper on the wall says. I had already ordered and paid for my food so um this place made me go against the health score snob in me. The tacos were fresh and very good actually lol. I didn't wanna think of the violations that goodness was prepared in. So l might stay away til they have the score up but if you wanna live on the edge for some damn good tacos...Mi Taco is the spot! read more

Mi Taco - Mexican Near Me - Tucker, Georgia

First time here, place was crowded at 330 on Sunday, so I gave it a shot. Had two carne asada tacos and they were excellent. served with double corn tortillas, a roasted half jalapeno and two sauces. I will go back. read more

I found this little hidden gem through a friend who used to live in the area. We are members at heritage golf links down the street and come after every round. Their fajita quesadillas are out of this world and are the best I've ever had. The al pastor tacos are a can't miss as well. I've also ordered take out and the service is always on point. read more

I've lived in Atlanta for 30 years and Mi Taco is, in my opinion, the best Mexican restaurant in the entire city. The food is authentic and incredibly delicious, and the staff is friendly and hard-working. What more can you say? I never hesitate to tell anyone that my last meal would be la quesadilla camaron y pollo con arroz y frijoles from Mi Taco. The negative reviews I've seen about this establishment are nonsense, and I truly hope folks have learned to take yelp reviews with a grain of salt. I am a gringo and have never received bad service or felt unwelcome there. And the guy talking about the salsa not having any thickness - bruh, it's not supposed to! I've looked high and low in the grocery stores to find a salsa of that quality, freshness, and flavor and haven't even come close. I will forever be a huge Mi Taco fan and it is my one of my first recommendations to anyone visiting or looking for a new spot to try. read more

Food is fantastic! But, the waitress is inattentive. I've eaten here 4 times, and it reminds me of the taquerias back home in California. You can really taste the anchiote in the tacos al pastor. The red sauce on the huevos rancheros is delicious (ask for over medium, or else you will automatically get over hard though). The horchata is bland, but the rice is flavorful. I'll definitely continue eating here, but just not when I'm in a hurry. The waitress gets distracted by her side work and doesn't often look up at the customers. read more

I went to this taqueria at about 7:30 on Monday night. There were two cooks working in the back and one waitress. With myself included, the waitress had three tables she was waiting on and as far as the service goes she was doing alright. As for the chips, they were dry and stale. The sauce was runny and had no thickness to it whatsoever. I ordered a large guacamole dip that tasted okay but was not very satisfying. It came with more stale chips... I also ordered a shrimp cocktail which was $7. I thought that was a very reasonable price for a shrimp cocktail and I was happy it wasn't more expensive once I tried it. The Tomato sauce was very very runny and had no thickness whatsoever. The shrimps tasted okay and it did have a little pico de gallo with ketchup and avocado that tasted okay. There were few shrimps and the crackers they included were very stale. The horchata I ordered did taste okay but was an instant type and was in a drink dispensing machine. I will never go back. This taqueria is located right were pleasantdale and britt rd meet near to the Popeyes chicken is located read more

Mi Taco had really good food but the service I received was not the best. I asked for chicken and received pork, Asked for avocado and sour cream , paid extra for it and did not receive it. But one my order was corrected my tacos and chimichunga was the best. I will try this place again. read more

the ladies that work here have terrible customer service and will make up the cost of things like salsa $2.50 she came up with and another $2.50 for chips when i ordered a cheese dip... terrible customer service and for this reason will never return read more

Best authentic mexican food around. The tacos are served on a hot corn torilla the way they should be with onions and cilantro. Amazing chorizo! All served with a side of three different sauces. One of which is an avocado sauce with big chunks of REAL avocado! Do this place... read more

Really good for authentic Mexican food, that Americans will like...my favorite is the steak quesadilla, gordita, or tacos.. consequently the waitresses know few to little English so it's best to know your order in Spanish read more

Mi Taco is tucked back in the corner of a slightly worn-out strip mall at the corner of Pleasantdale and Chamblee-Tucker. The restaurant's interior is pretty sparse and slightly dingey. There is absolutely NOTHING trendy about this place. There is a jukebox playing Mexican music. Oh, and they do have a beer/wine license. That's about as close as this place would ever get to being a nightclub. The food, though, is easily the best Mexican cuisine I've had in Atlanta or anywhere this side of the border actually. This is NOT the usual tex-mex crap slathered in cheese. Try the Mi Taco Especial, the bistec a la Mexicana or the tacos al pastor. read more

Absolutely delicious!!! I had the Burrito California and it was the best burrito I ever had!!

I've hit up this place numerous times, and have never been disappointed. I'm surprised there haven't been more reviews! I've had the al pastor and carne asada tacos, which were both good- the al pastor tends to be too salty IMO. As far as I remember, the burritos here are nothing to write home about, but the tortas (basically sandwiches) are great! They are stuffed with meat, guacamole, and fillers (lettuce, tomato, onions), and the toasty bread gives a great contrast in textures. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it... read more

AVOID PLEASE!!!! don't go here!!! I went to order my food last night and a drunk man behind the counter trying to take my order. I was like wow.....the cashier is pretty drunk. The waitress allowed this man to take my order he was talking to the cooks and all. I waited 20 min and the non speaking English waitress said he doesn't work here, I ask why is he behind the counter taking orders.....she shrug as if she didn't understand me. I walked out so fast. This place is full on ghetto waitress and cashier. Today I ask to speak with a Manger they acts as if the don't understand english. read more

Terrible Service!!, Took drink order, but never came. Then more people came and got served before we did NEVER will return. They just lost money.I HATE Bad Customer Service! read more

When you first walk in, this place is not at all appealing. The semi-decorated, but clean, dining room was small and overwhelmed by the rather obnoxious volume of the TV playing a Spanish talk show. The cuisine was very good though. It was definitely authentic Mexican, with no frills or visual enhancements, but it was absolutely delicious. I will be returning here. And I you're a good ole southern boy like me, you're out of luck. No sweet tea! But the food makes up for this slight shortcoming. read more

Amazing lengua and cabeza tacos. delicious corn tortillas and the onions appear to be slightly grilled which makes them warm and less overpowering than most other authentic tacos. 3 sauces are all great but the spiciest one is my fav. highly recommended read more

I love, love, love this place. I would have gave them 5 stars, but the table service was horrendous! I have only sat to eat there once, and that was enough for me. I still continue to order from them TO GO ONLY. The chorizo tacos are yum! The asada tacos are super yum!!! The one time I sat down to eat I waited for about 30min for the useless waitress, that was on her phone, AT THE CASH REGISTER, to bring me menus. Then I ordered the 3 tacos de asada with cheeses dip. She took my order and then got back on her phone AT THE CASH REGISTER. It didn't take long for my food to get to the table, but then again that has to do with the kitchen. She brings out my food, never refilled my drink. I asked her about my cheese dip that I never got, she goes back to the kitchen and brings back what looked like a half melted block of cheese. The cheese dip was completely inedible. I left there feeling bad for the restaurant to have such a person on staff. However, I still order from there, TO GO ONLY. Best taco place in Norcross, seriously. Just don't eat there. read more

Hole in the wall type of situation but genuine awesome cuisine. Recommended highly, one of the best Mexican places I have been to.

It's very delicious and tasty. My parents come here often and they never had a problem until last visit where the server took her own tip without any consent. She automatically added it to the bill. She was going to get a tip regardless but I think taking your own tip and setting her own percentage from the credit card is wrong. read more

Soooooo good. 20/10. Best handmade tortillas I've had in Georgia. I got the Chile poblano and I will be thinking about it every night until I have it again. Yum. This place has been here for a few years. The guac is good- chunky. They'll bring out 3 sauces when you order tacos. The one that comes with the chips is ok, but save room for the other sauces instead. I posted a couple photos for reference since I like looking at pics before deciding to eat somewhere. I'd say this is between 3-4 stars depending on what you get. read more

Mediocre and expensive or on the higher end for what you consider affordable/ inexpensive tacos in the $ range. I ordered the al pastor and carne asada which were ok. The waitresses weren't that attentive. One of the cooks made eye contact with the waitress to let her know that I wanted a drink. read more

This place is authentic and everything on the menu is delicious. I know because I have tried everything. They make at least 5 different fresh salsas and hot sauces. Perfectly sized portions and prices. Always clean and great service with smiles. The California Burrito is a complete lunch meal for two. The rice they make is full of veggies and really fresh tasting. It is the ONLY Mexican rice I have ever liked. The beans are delicious and spiced just right every time. I Love This Place. read more

I really enjoy getting food from here. My hubby loves homemade food and when I couldn't get lunch or dinner done, a quick call to Mi Taco and I'm set. It has been rare for me to find a good tasting restaurant. The prices are extremely reasonable on top of it all. My go to plates are the Chicken Chilaquiles and the Beef soup. Quick go to eats are the steak torta and of course tacos :) You think these can't go wrong, but surprisingly it can and it's done right here at Mi Taco! read more

i always order steak Quesadillas from here and they are vey good and only cost $5. i give them 3 stars because they changed the size and the Quesadilla has alot less meat now. and i always order mine with steak and cheese only but they always have something else on them because the girl at register barely knows english. but they fix them quickly with no problem. read more

Went to Mi Tacos on a Wed. night looking for a cheap, quick, tasty bit of Mexican food. I usually only expect to get 2 out of the 3 qualities just listed, but this place only hit 1 of the marks. It was painfully slow getting my food, and it was not exactly cheap. The one redeeming quality they had was tastyness. I got there at around 8pm, on a Wed night as stated earlier. From the moment I sat down till the moment I got my food, I waited about 45 minutes. It wasn't terribly busy either. There were only about 6 or 7 other people in the restaurant. There was only 1 server running around taking orders and serving food, as well as ringing up customers. I don't know if this is normally how they provide service, but I get the feeling that it's not uncommon. I ordered a chimichanga. It was pretty good, but not phenomenal. For $9 though, I could have gotten a chimichanga anywhere in Atlanta with faster service. I might return here if I see that there is no one else in the restaurant. If there are 5 or more people in there already, steer clear unless you have an hour to wait for your food! read more
