The birria tacos were super juicy and crispy, although I found them to be a little bit too salty. The employees were also super nice and let me taste test the mango drink before I ordered them. The drink was super sweet and paired well with the tacos.

Best birria tacos!!! It was all delicious, the salsa bar was really great too! Would definitely go back

I order the QuesaBirria whenever I come here and it's was absolutely amazing. I've never experienced a huge crowd and the wait time is not long. The food is cooked to order, so it's usually hot and fresh. The atmosphere of the restaurant is normally calm. I can enjoy one of my favorite comfort meals inside.

Got the quesa birria tacos and a spicy pork taco. Everything was delicious, and came out quickly. Lots of tables available even with a large lunch crowd. Staff is kind and were happy to give me recommendations. Authentic Mexican spot! Affordable too.

El Indio is soooo good--it's easily worth the 25-minute drive every time! They serve up authentic Mexican food that hits all the right notes, with flavors that feel homemade and packed with love. Their birria tacos are absolutely to die for--perfectly seasoned, juicy, and paired with that rich, flavorful consommé that takes them to the next level. The dining room is cozy and a great spot to sit and enjoy your meal if you're not taking it to-go. The staff is friendly, and the cashiers are bilingual, making the experience smooth whether you speak English or Spanish. El Indio is a must-visit for anyone craving real, authentic Mexican food. It's a place I'd happily go out of my way for--and you should too!

The food here is amazing!! It's delicious, authentic, and the price is great. This was my first time trying birria tacos and they were so flavorful!! I had the shrimp and steak fajitas - the steak was super tender and the shrimp were delicious with a little spicy kick to them. I would definitely eat here again!

Came here with some friends and decided to try it out! The place looked pretty normal, a little outdated which meant that it will be good. The lady took our order and we waited about 10 mins to receive our food. (It was half full) Once I dug in the tacos were amazing, they get soggy for a while and are very greasy (car oil tacos lol!) They were great and the passion fruit water was bomb. Will be back! But next time I'll bring the TUMS!

~ First review of 2024 ~ El Indio is my favorite Mexican food chain in the Atlanta area even into 2024. Consistently delicious food, accuracy, and great value/portions. I've ordered from this location several times and only had one bad experience where the consommé with the birria tacos was just oily and no flavor. That same day the pork in the pozole was also a little undercooked and on the tough side. Every other time has been a great meal though, so this does not affect my rating. I'm sure they just had a busy day. If you have not tried birria or birriaquesa tacos yet, you're missing out! I highly recommend any of the El Indio locations. They are all great. I cannot really speak to the ambiance for this location, as I just get take out or delivery most times. However you plan to order, I'm sure there is something on the menu for you to enjoy.

Tripe taco 5/5 SO good, especially after all the toppings I added from the salsa bar. Birria quesadilla 3.5/5 it had too much meat, I know it's a weird complaint, and not enough seasoning. The consume that came with it was good and light. Workers there were very friendly.

So last night was my first time here an i give this place a 6/10 . I finally got a chance to try the birria tacos aka the car oil tacos lol it's about two other names people call it but it was definitely good. I had the birra quesadilla it was with beef that kinda looked like stew beef meat . It was big and good , it was like a big quesadilla, cut into 3 . I was also able to try a birria taco I only got one. It had the stew beef kinda meat in it as well . Everything was packed up into different containers with different kinds of sauces to try. I went around 10 o'clock at night and it was worth it a little crowded for it to be that late but people were there and it was going fast . You have the option to sit inside or to take out , I believe this is a Mexican restaurant.

These were the best tacos I've ever had in my whole life. Every single time I go to El Indio it is just as amazing every time I love it.

It was a CROWDED Friday night at The Forum and LaParilla was BUSY. Nonetheless, we were promptly seated. We ordered an assortment of items across the five of us, Guac, wings, chimichanga, shrimp tacos, veggie fajitas, seasoned fries, plantain and a quesadilla. I only tried the guac, fries, veggie fajitas, one margarita and plantain. My food was just okay. But everyone else seemed as to enjoy their meal. Perhaps, better suited for meat-lover options. Contrary to the name, the fries weren't seasoned at all. The plantain were PERFECT. The veggie fajitas were bland and I'm not sure why tomatoes were added. BUT the rice and black beans were delicious. Again, this place is probably best suited for drinks, and meat-based meals. If you're into a crowded spot with a range of Mexican inspired options, this is your place.

Although aesthetically pleasing, the food Tastes odd and I actually took two bites and put it down. The dessert along with the rest of the meal was ok going down but actually made me sick later on. This is a chain restaurant and I think things may have gotten away from them as they grew. I would not recommend.

We had to order chips and salsa, only to find out you pay for them. And for each basket of chips. My Co worker ordered queso for himself but when they split the check, without asking she split the question between the 3 of us. I ordered street tacos. It comes with 4 plus beans and rice. Normally this is meat with almost no juice, corn tortillas with cilantro and onions. When i picked up the first one water/ juice poured out of it, the second had so much it fell apart at the fold when I picked it up. The beans and rice were little more than a tablespoon each. When I asked for my drink to be refilled she made no apology about having just poured it out. I mean we were the only ones there, keep up. There appear to be a lot of Mexican places around. Try something else.

They were having their grand opening, under the new name. The special was two free tacos. I chose the carnitas. The meat was finely shredded with no fat (Therefore no flavor), juice or seasoning. I was dissapointed in my free tacos lol. Which is tuff! I had the Chorizo dip, which was chorizo in queso blanco, and the only thing that threw me was that it was watery, (so was the salsa)... WHICH I waited until it cooled to see if it would thicken and it did not lol. I added salsa verde and rojo to the dip to add flavor (Neither of which were hot just medium... NOTED because I asked for habenero and was told by 2 servers "Oh the red is spicy..." "Oh the green is hot right?!" (Side Eye))The chips were nice crispy and fresh, they came out hot and the skinny margarita is their fresh margarita which I flavored mango... Pretty good. You can also take drinks togo... Wink... Don't drink and drive kids!... Anywhoooo... The service was meh. I could say it was because it was the grand opening... But it was early so it wasn't busy... I had several people wlk past me at the bar before one would eventually check to see if I needed anything and I had to just grab attention of anyone randomly to get whatever I needed. There were variables... It didn't blow me away in a good or bad way.
