I wanted something simple so I got a cheese quesadilla which comes with a salad, guacamole, and sour cream. They have a salsa and toppings bar as well. Saw this place as a recommendation from TikTok so I decided to try it. They only had the beef Birria Tacos so I was a bit disappointed since I really wanted to try the seafood one (in another location). The tacos were pretty delicious, very stuffed and adding the red sauce and lime, the taste was superb. The beef itself needs more flavor in my opinion but I love the texture. It was my first time trying consommé but it was really greasy, a bit too greasy to my liking so I couldn't finish it. I also got a mango juice they had on the side and for the price of ($2.00) for a small, it was a generous amount. I absolutely loved the taste of that mango juice, it was so refreshing on a hot summer day and also it balance out the greasiness of the taco and consommé. They also allow ($1.00) refill if you do want more. The place was definitely really popular since every table was full during the time I went. But they don't take social distancing seriously and it was just so packed I wouldn't sit there to dine in anytime soon. Always bomb. Been coming here for months now and it's by far the best mexican food in the Atlanta metro area. The menudo and pozole have amazingly rich broth. The menudo is cut and prepped into perfect sizes. The birria queso tacos are what they are popular for and well deserving but their asada is the best meat option. Followed closely by the tripas and barbacoa. Honestly all their meats are top performers. Salsa bar is always well stocked. The carrots are the best. Service is always kind and fast. Best tacos around, they're filled with meat! I love the asada tacos the best. The staff is very friendly. They are currently open for dine in, up to 5 people at one table. There is social distancing stickers on the floor for people ordering inside. Then you wait outside to receive your order. There is a speaker outside which calls your number, very efficient so there's not a lot of people inside waiting. $1.79 a taco. I definitely recommend this place for tacos and other good food! Had been hearing a lot about this place with the rise in popularity of Birria Tacos. I was mostly intrigued by their Birria Ramen made with Maruchan, unfortunately, it's only sold at the Tucker location! Being that I was there already, I decided to go ahead and try the tacos at least for the time being. We got two portions (each containing 3 hefty sized tacos) for about $20-22 ($10-11/portion) and a nice little bowl of consommé. As previously stated, the tacos are pretty large in size and the meat, cheese, to tortilla ratio is pretty spot on! The tortillas are extremely crispy, the meat is tender, and the thick layer of cheese in between all marry together extremely well on its own. Then you bring in the extremely rich and oily consommé, the lime juice, and the salsas and it's a fiesta in your mouth. I'd say that the meat and consommé could be a little bit more seasoned. Also, I'm no baby when it comes to grease, but the consommé skimmed a bit more. The place was nice and clean, with COVID safety precautions in place. The condiments cart w/ the limes, radishes, salsas, etc. was clean and neat. Staff was pretty friendly. Definitely a spot to try out if you've never had Birria Tacos or if you're trying to find your new spot! By the look of this place I wasn't too thrilled to go in. But once I got inside and saw the menu I was excited. The best part that everything is pictured on the menu board so you can have an idea of what you are getting. I'm a taco addict and of course I got tacos! And they are only $1.35 each. Can't beat that. Honestly I didn't expect much of this place. But once I bit into my first taco , I was doing a happy dance. Tacos are very flavorful, juicy and delicious. Once inside it is a good amount of seating and TV's while you wait. The menu is clear and concise. I came for my birria but I was slightly disappointed that they only do beef birria. I ordered it anyway which included 3 tacos and the consume for $10.99. The order was ready in less than 7 minutes which was faster than the other location. When I got home to eat I was pleased with the taste. The consume was a little sweeter then the other location but the tacos had more quesa and was flavorful even without the consume. Although I prefer chicken over beef I would recommend this spot. It is usually packed for lunch and early dinner on weekdays. read more

The line was almost out the door. We ordered at the register and waited at the large table we were able to get together by pulling empty tables and chairs together. It was hectic and crazy but we all eventually got our food. I ordered three tacos, a side of rice and some flan - definitely way too much food, but I couldn't resist. Everything tasted as authentic as the people in the restaurant - I'm pretty sure more than 90% of the diners spoke only Spanish, which is always a great sign. My tacos were hearty and tasty, the rice was just ok (it was pretty plain and bland, but fluffy), and the flan was rich and decadent. There was quite a bit of a wait but well worth it. Overall, El Indio is another authentic Mexican restaurant. If I'm ever in the area and craving tacos, I know that El Indio is a solid choice. read more

The tacos are the smallest you will ever eat, at $1.30 sounds like a bargin right? Wrong. All tacos are served with cilantro, onions and limes unless requested otherwise. Know that size wise the circumference is of a small orange. Sopes can be ordered either chicken or beef served with tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. Know you will need to pick it up and eat it or ask for metal silverware to cut through these here. The plastic silverware just bends and cannot cut through the finished product. The dough is to thick and hard. Anyone following me knows I have a "thing" for sope I just don't enjoy them here.
