We love the food here. The only problem is the fact that they chronically clean the place resulting in the strong smell of cheap detergents and cleaning agents while you eat. The smell is a serious turn off. They also don't see a problem with vigorously sweeping the floors while you eat. read more

This is the original food that made Yungapeti a favorite.. Wont go into the split up but I boycott the Yunga... Overall good food-- sometimes has a bit of up and down, but what place doesn't have some peaks and valleys.. They make great juice drinks... The Torta is great, and my favorite is what I call the triple threat... a walla taco, fish taco, and a hawaiian taco.. If the shrimp is fresh, the shrimp tostada is a bargain and awesome.. though sometimes it needs to be dumped in the trash... Hit or miss for $4... read more

Best burrito in Walla Walla. Try the Walla Walla burrito here. Plenty of avocado and sweet onions. I usually use the drive through window, but the atmosphere inside is basic and clean. I recommend mixing the salsa verde and hot salsa. Yum! read more

Yum!!!!! The chili rellanos were the best we've had since Santa Fe!!! The flour tortillas seemed homemade and were delicious (and I typically prefer corn). The chicken taco was very good, although I would try a different meat next time - as chicken can be a touch dry. We just ate lunch here after tasting some wine and it was amazing! We had the taco plate, chili quiles, quesadilla and they were all outstanding. Polite, good service. Very affordable and clean. They also serve alcohol. read more

Believe this. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants from fine to fast. We came from Coeur D Alene and dine a wide range when we travel. We stopped into this place thinking it was a typical Mexican restaurant, but needed to kill the craving. Blown away. Food...best Mexican food ever. Customer service....excellent staff with smiles. Atmosphere....if they made it one of the classy places like in California and kept the food and people as is....you'd five star it all day. Don't let the building fool you. Top notch place. There are many fine restaurants in the area and then there is food. That's Mi Pueblito. The salsa bar is great, make sure that you ask for hand-made tortillas on the tacos. The food is fast, abundant, and well-seasoned. The burritos are massive and the vegetables fresh. I'm a huge fan of the ground beef and al pastor offerings. Today was my last day. They mess up on our food 80% of the time. My wife's veggie tacos almost always have a chunk of meat on them and once had raw meat. I've informed the store before but they just don't seem to care. I always go through the drive though and usually have to wait at least 5 minutes for someone to come over the intercom. Sometimes I give up and drive to the window and they look at me as if I am impatient and rude. They just don't seem to care about customer service. The food is fantastic. The drive thru service is sub par at best. Be prepared to repeat your order multiple times, check your order to make sure it's accurate and make sure your drinks are filled more than half way. I'm not one to complain in fact I've had numerous poor service situations at this restaurant. The girl was pregnant so I just gave her a break. That was over a year ago and she has had her baby and her service is still awful. She never smiles hates answering the window and you are a burden. My first experience with her she left me at the window for almost 10min. then came and asked what I ordered........ I had to wait again for my food. Also there was no apology. I felt like she just wanted me to give up and drive off but that wasn't happening. Then a couple months later it happened again and I waited over 10 min. Again. In total I would say this has happened to me 4 times. This past Sunday I got the speaker waited 2 min. for someone to say be with you soon. No hello nothing just wait. I assumed it's my favorite drive thru girl and luckily was able to drive off then rather then place my order and feel stuck. The food can be really good or really bad I've had both. However I'm done with this place. I'm over the horrible service and I'm over wondering if my food will be good today. If you still want to try it GO INSIDE. Their drive thru is not a drive thru, their food is not worth the wait you'll experience. You can't be forgotten when sitting in a lobby. read more

Okay so this is my favorite Mexican place in Walla Walla. The burritos are to die for, you know, ask long as you get what you freaking ask for. I wanted a burrito with ground beef, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream, simple, easy. Apparently not. So this lady didn't even write down my order. Maybe she's good, y'know? Nope. I get home with pico de gallo and no sour cream on my food. Uh okay, people make mistakes, whatever. Lol no. This lady has me pull up, I wait 20 minutes for her to even take my money. In those 20 minutes she opens the window, looks at me, says nothing, then closes it. 4 times. 4 TIMES. One of those times she looks at me, and as she closes the window, she whispers "oh s**t!" That's so mature, don't you think? Wanna know what else is mature? She's on her phone, what looks to be snap chatting. At work. In front of the window. Hm. K. This adult was acting more immature than me, a 16 year old. Hah. So I get my food eventually. If I had noticed the mistake before I got home, I would've mentioned it. Nope.
